Good news everyone! v0.5 delivered.

Sweet I just tried the new version and it looks really good so far for my 1070 and 96.5 algo. I get around 600 Sol/s more compared to the v0.4 - nice thank you very much.

Im having issues with setting the -fee 0 in the miner.cfg. I am still seeing the miner targetting to what im assuming is the miner dev fee. Let me know if this is intended and that you have removed the -fee 0 option. I am mining the aion algorith btw.

Are there any side effects to setting dev fee to 0?

Yes: GREED is one of seven deadly sins! You could set the fee to at least 0.1% to support the dev. Especially considering 20% boost in hashrate with the most recent v0.5.

Are there any side effects to setting dev fee to 0?  Does it cause miner to mine slower?

Can we get some more documentation on how this new functionality worksL

Quote
* Added option --pers auto, Allow the pool to manage the personalization string. (Profit switching). (/http://zergpool.com)
It's very simple, the pool should send a modified mining_notify method (the differences are in bold): {"id": null, "method": "mining.notify", "params": ["JOB_ID", "VERSION", "PREVHASH", "MERKLEROOT", "RESERVED", "TIME", "BITS", CLEAN_JOBS, "144_5", "BgoldPoW"]}
And the miner will use the specified personalization (the 9th element of the params array). that's all.
The 8th element, currently not used, you must set the algorithm in it.

Good news everyone! v0.5 delivered.

Well the hashrate miner is showing has increased, rigs are more stable. But for some reason, I mine less , and the difficulty hasnt increased that much. Dont know if its the pool not reacting well to new miner, or there is something wrong with miner. It should be same or more  Shocked

Dumb question on my part likely - but how did you get Power usage stats to display there in your log output?  I never have seen that, and could DEFINITELY use that to my advantage.  Thanks for sharing, great stats thanks to v0.5...nice indeed!  Cheers.

If using the cfg file, change "pec" from 0 to 1
If using command line options, use --pec 1

Good news everyone! v0.5 delivered.

Up to 40 sol/s with GTX 1070 (no overclock, 70% power) vs 33 sol/s on v0.3.
EWBF, any chance you can publish checksums for your distros? just for paranoid people like myself....

OK, no problem.

Good news everyone! v0.5 delivered.

Can you explain how the --pers can be changed from the miner. Would like to get this implemented in Mining Rig Rentals. Can it just be specified like normal by --pers by the pool or is it a different command.

Adapt in your config file following line:

pec   0   =>   pec   1

That's it!
Enjoy!

Good job, man!

Rig with 5 x 1070 Ti (tuned with PL=120W and OC=200/1200)

Before with v0.3 (0.4 crashed my rigs sometimes):

After with v0.5 without any changings of my tuning:

From 199 sol/s to 236 sol/s.  Wink
About 18.5 % more solutions than before.

Thank you so much for fixing the v0.4 issues.

i do see an issue with my 10x 1070 cards...

Al of a sudden they drop in hash to 9-18 sols .....

Haven't had that before with the adjusted 0.3 version ...

I have set the intensity to 32, but after around 15 min the sols drop ....
And after a few minutes it goes up again ...

i will keep an eye on it, if it continues, i will try the older version again, and see if it is the software, or that my powersupply's are getting lazy

It's great to see a v0.5 arrived . I noticed a hashrate improvements and seems like we can decrease mining intensity now . I want to thank you EWBF for your work and feedback on a community replies , as you are fixed all the major existing problems .

10x 1070's Armor - now getting average of 41 sol/s with v0.5 and an OC like this: 65% PL, +50 Core, +400 Mem ( total powerdraw = 1290 w )

4x 1070ti Armor - now getting average of 45 sol/s with v0.5 and an OC like this: 65% PL, +130 Core, +550 Mem ( total powerdraw = 619 w )

2x 1070ti Gigabyte Aorus - now getting average of 44 sol/s with v0.5 and an OC like this: 65% PL, +130 Core, +550 Mem ( total powerdraw = 287 w )

3x 1080ti Founders - now getting average of 62 sol/s with v0.5 and OC like this: 65% PL, +125 Core, +500 Mem ( total powerdraw = 547 w )

4x 1080ti OC STrix - now getting average of 63 sol/s with v0.5 and OC like this: 65% PL, +50 Core, +500 Mem ( total powerdraw = 922 w )

5x 1080ti Asus Turbo - now getting average of 58 sol/s with v0.5 and OC like this: 65% PL, +100 Core, +500 Mem ( total powerdraw = 894 w )

6x 1080ti Aorus - now getting average of 60 sol/s with v0.5 and OC like this: 65% PL, +100 Core, +500 Mem ( total powerdraw = 1120 w )

All temps ( even with this high of temperature outside ) around 70 degrees celcius
