Why is it that so many people are surprised that a more resource-intensive algo uses more resources?

Example windows drags, slowly opening programs and microlags, stuttering, unusable movie seeing. I did not experience with the old program (0.3.4b)

I would appreciate this as well, I would like to watch satellite with half intensity on first gpu
In my tests pers must be set to AION0PoW otherwise solutions are invalid

Request to developers:
Please keep the algo list consistent.
a) Either allow ANY of the numeric algos, like 144_5. Currently 210_9 is not allowed :-(, and allow secondary argument --pers
b) Allow ANY Coin name, like Aion & Zhash, but also BitcoinZ etc.
The current situation is confusing (to say the least) and makes the adaptation for 3rd party miners (e.g. www.multipoolminer.io) unneccesary complicated.

I checked this and it works on hashpowerpool. Do not use personalization for aion.
Try to run this example:
miner --algo aion --server 99.255.106.25 --port 3333 --user 0xa066d324f5d1eeef1b8cd213e7ecc980be4fcc992948fc4bd1b3fb1c32fe9eac
You probably use the incorrect wallet address.
In my tests pers must be set to AION0PoW otherwise solutions are invalid

About Binance i don't know.
You can't simply mine to any exchange, because now you're mining mainnet tokens, and those on exchanges are erc-20 tokens.
There is simply still not developed mainnet to erc-20 two-way gateway, they're working on one-way gateway now.
2way gateway you can expect in 3, or 4 months at earliest.
So simply you cant sell mined tokens anywhere on the exchange. Maybe somewhere OTC. This is exact situation right now.

Running 12gpu crashes after 10-20 sec and reboots the windows rig w/o any error.
Running two instances of miner (6+6 gpu) runs fine on the same rig.
Running 11 GPU with one miner works like a charm on another rig.
All GPU's are 1080.
Any suggestions or a fix coming?

Personalization string for AION is AION0PoW

I tried all pools. doesn't work at all.
BTW does anyone know how to mine solo with EWBF without pool? What exactly must I write into .bat file for that?
