I like to keep power at 75% or less, but depending on your power cost, perhaps efficiency is less a concern for you than Sol?  Also, I have found that even when setting a power limit of 75%, sometimes that actual power usage is quite a bit higher, especially with 1080Ti's with dual 8-pin connectors.  My Zotac Arcticstorm is a power hog.  I have mine set at 68% but it actually consumes 73%.

But it looks like you have already played around with your settings quite a bit.  One question, did you unlock temp limit from power limit?

yes, i've played a lot with settings but it is getting unstable very fast. efficiency is very important for me, more than sol.

temp is unlocked from tdp on all cards. on that 1060 with 3g i fixed fan to 75% - so it is same 'cold' as that with 6g.

on long runs i get about 0.3% rejected shares - is that normal value ?

Glad you got it working!  Are you running Afterburner?  If so, what are your settings for each card?

Are you using risers?  That one 1060 is running a little hot and I would think you should be able to get better efficiency out of your cards than that.  Thanks for showing that interesting mix of cards in one rig.  On the surface it looks like the 1060 3GB card is perhaps the least desirable card to use with this miner.

there is also one rx480 in this rig, but it doesn't matter.

following config with afterburner (beta16)

1080ti
core+ 40 = 1822
mem stock (micron) = 5022
power 78%

1070 (watercooled)
core stock = 1800
mem+ 600 (samsung) = 4400
power 75%

1060 6g
core+ 122 =1847
mem+ 163 (micron) =3969
power 77%

1060 3g
core+ 84 = 1885
mem+ 236 (samsung) =4032
power 77%

i am using v6 and v7 risers.

Result:

Powerusage complete rig (+rx480 @ 280 soll, Celeron 3900, 4GB DDR4, 1500Watt PSU):

how to get these statistics (website?) ? is it an extra application or buildin in ewbf ?

Build in.  Just add this to your .bat file:

--api 10.0.1.201:42000

You will want to change the IP to that of your machine, or just use 127.0.0.1:42000 if you only want to be able to point a browser to it from your local miner.  I like using the actual IP of the rig so that I can access the stats from any machine on my LAN.

thank you, that works. YAY Grin

my result is:

is that ok or shall i tweak somethink ?

Did I mention I picked this particular EVGA 1070 ACX 3.0 Superclocked (08G-P4-5173-KR) up from eBay a couple of weeks ago for $390 shipped?  Smiley

I'm using this miner. Smiley
Is this miner is the best when mining Zcash with NVIDA GPUs?
Or, is there any miner which is more profitable?

What are your settings for the EVGA 1070 OC?

Wouldn't mind a 10 watt drop per card with about the same sols....

I got 3 rigs going and figured I'd share my Sol rates.

Rig 1 - 6x EVGA 1080Ti OC Gamer's Black Edition
Rig 2 - 1x Zotac 1080Ti ArticStorm (water cooled) 1x EVGA 1070 Overclocked edition
Rig 3 - 1x Nvidia 1070 FE

Hi, in rig 1 you do not have problems of mining zero soles?

I have 5 1080ti ( 4 MSI  gaming X and 1 Gigabyte Aorus) without overlocking and I have many problems, but only with ewbf, with the other mining programs do not.

What sources of power PSU do you have? and how have you distributed the risers and gpus in them? Do the risers have them connected directly to molex? or with sata-molex adapter?
What nvidia drivers do you use?
Do you have the built-in motherboard gpu turned off or on?

how do you have the afterburner set?
Answer me if you can at all to know what my problem may be.

Thx!!

ANy idea why the miner is coming up as "win64/Bitcoinminer.dx" which seems to be a variant of the bitcoinminer trojan?

Guys, could you tell me please is it possible to use EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner (linux version) in EthOS? Is it doing good there?

Thank you!

I am using EWBF 0.3.4b and my Nvidia 1070s keep hitting the temp limit. I have set the temp limit to 75C. The cards were going up to 83C. I have not had this issue with any other miner. I also reduced the intensity to 45. All other values are default values. Any ideas why it would be running so hot?

Note: I am not using PEC.

Put the fans fixed on 100% and it will stay cool. That helped my rigs.

Hey guys.. Is there a monitoring tool to see the actual status of my miners from remotely? I mean like the EthMan software for Claymore's miners. It isn't necessary to manage the rigs from remotely, at least I just want to see their status real-time (temperature, hashrate, etc.).

I tried to use the http api of Ewbf's miner but I can't reach that site even from localhost.

Use --api 0.0.0.0:42000 in bat file. When ip address is 0.0.0.0 it can be viewed from everywhere.

Thank you, papi92!
