It'll be unnecessary because AFAIK, there are already about 5 topics there that tackled that issue ever since seed type selection was removed in the GUI.
Example: Electrum 4.1.0 released - Feature discussion & other related issues.

Speaking of Electrum, I also thought to mention two topics which may be of good use for various people, perhaps for ESG as well...

I am not sure how familiar ESG is with Electrum, but 1miau wrote two very informative essays about how to avoid high fees and about sweeping and importing private keys... They can be found here:

How to add a Bitcoin address to Electrum / difference sweep and import priv. key
Make sure to avoid wasting BTC for too high fees – step by step guide (Electrum)

of course, with your permissions?

There's just a bit of difference in Electrum make_seed command's named arguments that wont work in electrum-ltc but it's basically the same.

Lastly, this is getting off-topic so for further Electrum-ltc-related concerns, please create a new topic in 'Electrum' or 'Altcoins' board.

everything went well, thank you very much, i'm very gratefull, ...and the broke i m using accepts the type of address generated on it.

Then type: make_seed(seed_type="standard") to create a p2pkh type Electrum seed.
Then create a new wallet using that seed phase via 'File->New/Restore'.
look the picture, you will see that i dont understand much..and tryied...some times...and after this i request three new wallets, and anyones of show me before or after something about legacy address... should you tell me where i m are wrong...?
I guess instructions in plain words wont cut it, here's some screenshots of the steps:

  • Create a new standard seed via console and copy it on a piece of paper:
Obviously, do not use the seed phrase shown in your screenshot or this screenshot since everyone saw it already.
  • Create a new wallet by selecting these options; in the wallet creation 'install Wizard', type your preferred wallet name and click 'Next':
  • Select "Standard wallet" for the wallet type.
  • Select "I already have a seed" for the seed option:
  • Type the seed phrase that you've created in the console.

Also, it's much safer if you do this on an Air-Gap machine and just transfer the wallet to an online machine.
If not available, just make sure that your PC isn't ridden with malware or viruses.

Lastly, this is getting off-topic so for further Electrum-ltc-related concerns, please create a new topic in 'Electrum' or 'Altcoins' board.

Your electrum-ltc version v4.2.2.1 follows Bitcoin Electrum's default to create Native SegWit seed by default,
So it will not show that script type option during wallet creation

To create a standard p2pkh wallet, open your Electrum-ltc's console ('View->Show Console' to enable it),
Then type: make_seed(seed_type="standard") to create a p2pkh type Electrum seed.

thanks for help me, but, i am are dont knowing the steps... i guess before i open the console and type, i need import BIP39, and i didnt  this.  i need do? on github from ltc electrum..? yes ii think, but i still didnt this... ,   and, after i typed on console, where  i type Electrum seed?,

Hiding part of your addresses is pointless for privacy. The moment you use it, the full address can be found.

you are correctly, but i will don t use theses address for deposit, only example of address of wallet..., thanks your advice.
and when i request to creat a new wallet, dont show any option of 'Legacy' before create one.

my wallet is electrum ltc ~ dont have an option to legacy address
You need to create a new wallet:

~ ever since seed type selection was removed in the GUI.
I didn't know that. I only use dust-amounts of LTC, so I haven't upgraded my wallet for a while.

i dowloaded electrum ltc, but, only new address...how i can use native Address on ?
As the service you want to withdraw LTC from doesn't support segwit LTC address, you need to create a legacy LTC address (an address that start with L) on Electrum-LTC.
To generate legacy LTC addresses, simply select "legacy (p2pkh)" as the script type.

After sending the fund to your Electrum-LTC wallet, you can easily make a transaction to the address generated by eXch.

Don't use guarda wallet (or any other closed source wallets), it's not a good for anything.
If you need open source multicoin wallet that support litecoin you can check Cake wallet, Stack wallet or Unstoppable mobile wallet.
Electrum-LTC is fine if you want to have litecoin only wallet.

Or, much better, use your own wallet in between. Create a legacy wallet in Electrum-LTC, and start to be your own bank Smiley

Well, in that case you have two options aside from using a different service that can send to a native-segwit address.

1- Convince that service to upgrade their system.
2- Convince eXch to support lagecy addresses.

IMO, both should be done, if you want to deal with all types of clients, you should be able to deal with every single address type, obviouslly, once you send to a non-segwit address, it would cost the exchange more fees to move that output so expect to pay more in fees.

finally, the fact that the other service have not bothered to make a small change in their wallet system to follow an update that is many years old -- makes them a lot less worthy to deal with.

The service you use is probably outdated and doesn't recognise native-segwit (bech32) address format which eXch uses, it starts with "ltc", you can verify that by checking the address your service provides, if it starts with an "M" then it's P2SH-P2PKH or even worse if starts with an "L"  P2SH address.

yes, my wallet ltc from this exchange,  the last send, this that i try .. goes for address with M on other automatic exchange , and my address is with LK... on begin..., and other time, i sent btc to ltc  to this address using exch, and goes, but, no are other way on exch to request old address ltc to deposit... and no way on my exchange to send to new address...  i contact them, and them want  i do an video ytrying charge out... OMG...

examplens. wants to say that the exchange from which you send coins to the eXch deposit address may request KYC or something like that (or freeze your funds using any pretext). In addition, usually centralized exchanges have different input and output addresses (hence several more inconveniences).

In this particular case, the best practice is to send coins from your non-custodial wallet to the eXch deposit address (there is no chance that you will encounter similar problems like those you encountered today).

Btw, I know of many cases where users have passed identity verification twice (when sending coins from a centralized exchange to exchangers from the BestChange list).

...

You don't control the keys to the address. I've seen countless topics from people who can't use RBF or CPFP because they're neither sender nor receiver of the transaction. Or, when it comes to it, you can't prove you're the sender.
As nice as it is to save on transaction fees, using your own wallet "in between" is usually better.

...

____...____
CEX are not wallets for storing coins, but trading platforms. That's how they should be treated.

_____...___
Even if CEX (or any similar service) wants to return coins, it would always go to the address they came from. How complicated would be the process of proving ownership of the coin that ended up in the wallet of the exchanger?

Thanks your answers...is very important... on begin, i used do this, with the time, i let of do... and i send direct toswaps xchanges... and almost never i used return address..... now, i will back do correctly again...is an bit more work, but is better pactice it than comming have problems that i can t  solve,,, many thanks,,, i understand very well...
