Kingcoiny is launch. ...seriously? are you going to trust an illiterate person with your coins?
Fucking idiots...

Who're the fucking idiots?

As I said, I can't be more explicit. You don't want to take a part at our adventure, OK, this is your choice we understand.

oh my dear god...

Ok, I'll leave now... just one quick question... How long before you plan to run away with everyone's money? and, if I'm not too curious... what do you plan to buy with it? Smiley

Dude you told me your company was regeistered in CANADA not france and just the server is hosted out of canada.

and a lot of that is some really shaddy stuff, for a "company" who wants people to trust them with their money, that whois should have been 100% correct before launch if it was a legit business not days later.

anywho sorry man I don't think I'll be using your site anymore

and thanks Gump for the research.

So!

About me :

Hi everybody, my name is Benoît PHILIBERT. I'm French and I live in Saint etienne (FRANCE).
I'm a web designer who teach at the Lyon 1 University and also work for Apple but all those informations are on my Linkedin.

In february 2014, I had the idea to launch an exchange for altcoins and bitcoin. I've started to design the platform (yes, it's my job) and you can check the different shots on my Dribble Account or directly on the project page.

Here is my personal website (under construction). You can enjoy a Whois and see the same informations of Kingcoiny because I'm the owner of both.

Here is my twitter account where you can read "Joined February 2010". You can follow my tweets (a lot for Kingcoiny the last days) and find some tweets like this one where i have started to speak about Kingcoiny in January (16 Jan 2014!).

About Kingcoiny :

Kingcoiny is composed of brilliant team members with Senior UX/UI, Developers, Security expert and Web designer.
We have an international team between North America (CANADA) and Europe (FRANCE, ITALY, AUSTRIA).

Presently, we have not yet the company structure and we understand that each users need informations before use our exchange.

The whois was wrong because it was set unfortunately by our hoster ovh to random values to avoid information disclosure. We changed it to show the information public and now it shows up correctly. Sorry for this irritation.

We understand that is harder than before to launch an exchange today with the shareXcoin experience...
We understand that if some of you want to go away or just wait for more they can do it.
We understand that Bittrex, Mintpal, Poloniex and others could be better for you and we appreciate that we have a lot of stuff to improve.
We understand all the posts about us, this is normal, this is a human reaction and if I were you, I'll certainly did the same.

You are free to join us and try our platform or play around in the exchange that best fit you. We are here to stay and to give our users an high quality product, at the best of our capabilities, with fair and clear rules.

The best,
Ben

(●´ω´●) Nil de nihilo fit
Hi guys. I saw my buddy using this new exchange and decided to look into it. Had never heard of it before, so I decided to check it out. I will say now, I really like the website design and functionality. Its nice. However, I have encountered some problems when attempting to properly vet this site for trust.

Lets start with some sample information.

Here is the registration information for the domain of cryptsy.com, a well known, very large crypto coin exchange: http://whois.net/whois/cryptsy.com
Here is the registration information for the domain of bittrex.com, a well known large crypto coin exchange: http://whois.net/whois/bittrex.com

Look at those if you could please. Note they have valid addresses, company names, phone numbers and all that. All data is visible.

Here is the registration information for the domain of kingcony.com. http://whois.net/whois/kingcoiny.com

Somethings weird here! Well, the ? in his name is due to the non-english 'i' character (he is French, afterall) but I'm less worried about that and more worried about everything else. There is no company name, no LLC signed.

Zip code search ends up here: http://postal-codes.findthebest.com/l/202350/59053-CEDEX-1-Roubaix

I looked up the registration address (as in, the physical address of which the domain was registered to) and verbatim, that same address is also used for an estimated 13,000 other websites. Source: http://netcomber.com/contact/address/59053,%20Roubaix%20Cedex%201

The site itself is hosted here, on OVH: https://www.ovh.com/ca/en/

Remember the whois info. for cryptsy and bittrex? check their emails are valid with this tool: http://tools.email-checker.com/ And now try and check the emails provided with the kingcoiny.com whois info. You will find the emails are not valid. They are generated, fake emails.

Upon further review, something is also up with the phone number. Look at it, go back to that page I provided earlier with 13,000 websites registered to the same address. Look at how many of them use the same phone number (most of them). Further lookup on the phone itself puts it in France. http://www.searchyellowdirectory.com/reverse-phone/33899498765/

Putting this all together, I'm not quite sure what to say but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be using an exchange that has faulty, scammy looking information used to register the domain name. Its one thing if the registrar had been flagged private, but this is even worse than that. Its literally false information so far as I can tell. If you can explain all of these problems somehow, I'm all ears. For now, I will not be using this exchange, I will be telling all my friends not to use it as well. I say to everyone else: Take out from this exchange whatever money you have there now. This is a potential scam. The registration information for the domain appears to be invalid. Please be careful everyone. Thank you for reading.

Thank you for your investigation, it's really something fishy with it.

Will Bitcoin Rise Again to $60,000?
If you add Atheistcoin [ATH] you'd be one of the first ones and I'm sure it would attract some traffic to your site and make people use it and thus trust it more with time.

You should check out the ATH thread for more info. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annath-atheistcoin-dgw3-groestl-based-634474

Good luck with your exchange. Smiley

Any news on the emails going out for registration ?

we have a resend activation mail now....but more than 90% of users could register..so it can't be that broken like you said...  Embarrassed

Im with Gmail, so ...... ya... btw still no confirmation email, and i cant request one resent for if i login it just says to confirm  my account with the email that has been sent

In the same alertbox there is an link "Got no activation mail ?"
That sends you here: https://www.kingcoiny.com/index.php?page=resend-activation
Request a new one there.

I told you before, that dosnt do anything....

"and i cant request one resent for if i login it just says to confirm  my account with the email that has been sent"

Obviously at this point im over it and wont be signing up .

I'm in charge of the marketing dev for the exchange and I want the things gonna be clear between us and our customers.

Which kind of scammer shows his face and identity?

The best,
Ben

One that doesn't post it on the site, team members included.   The About Us and Terms says no public info about any of you.

OK have you seen my dribbble shots?

Tomorrow I'll post a video on the website or something easier for all of you to understand that we are not scammers or sharexcoin WTF I don't know more!

That is nothing more than the making of the site.   You obviously have to learn a lot from Bittrex,  users have access to all of their personal Facebook,  Twitter,  linked in, etc.

A little part just for you before tomorrow :

https://twitter.com/bpdesign_fr
https://www.facebook.com/Lyonnais69
http://fr.linkedin.com/in/benoitphilibert

Look at my linkedin profile >

Then post it on your site for all current users and new users to see.   You keep posting here,  instead of on the site.   Reveal your team and post their links to the site as well.  The people just want more transparency on the site.  If people choose to still support without any info on the site then that's their problem.

Agree with that. Don't forget we launched last Wednesday.
