Which exchange will you suggest that has a phone support and good customer support?  I am currently using big exchanges such as Coinbase, bittrex etc which has ZERO customer support. They don't have any phone support.  They restrict user's account without explanation and you can't even contact them!

So, do you use any exchange which has a very good customer support and have phone support?  If no phone support then, at least live chat support or very quick/professional email support?

For example Coinbase doesn't reply to emails for weeks and even if they reply it is just a copy paste reply.!
All these exchanges did have good customer support when they kicked off at first, but as time went on and as they continued to have lots and lots of customers they declined in the level of support they give to their customers, they stopped putting in any effort at all. I can remember very well when Coinbase was still new, and they were doing really great when it comes to handling issues that customers encounters when making use of their platform and they never wasted time in replying to emails, but now they are so big that you can’t mention the top five without mentioning them, so they care less now.

they are big exchange and how can they became big and succesful if they dont have simple but important things such as costumer support and live chat ? but big exchange experience delays because of the big number of traders they are dealing with .

its also common to recieve automated replies in the email because thats how a company responds to emails but if they are a good exchange , your problems will always get solve no matter what

Most of exchange platforms does have customer support and when it comes to those contacts or mediums for you to reach them out.You had mentioned about Coinbase and Bittrex?

If you arent convinced with numbers then you can go to said address.

Coinbase, Inc.
100 Pine Street
Suite 1250
San Francisco, CA 94111

and speaking of contacts

+1 888 908-7930 (US/Intl)

For bittrex, you can mail them [email protected] or on other mediums like;
https://t.me/s/bittrexglobal
https://www.facebook.com/BittrexGlobal/

You shouldnt just stick out with that telephone number if you can contact them through these ways.

Is there no local exchange in your country? Sometimes, the local exchange will have their active support. or, you can also go to some exchanges that also have telegram groups (not only customer supports). Sometimes, they can help your case by following up with their CS team.
The groups that are very active are likely Binance, Kucoin, OKEx, Bithumb, and also probably more. And they also have active live chat support.
However, if it is about the case and contact them by email, it has been common that you may get the answer for a long time. It is better to send to the email support, using the live chat support, and also follow up to the telegram group if any.
However I also agree with some opinion of the members here, if you find the phone number, do you really want to contact them even you are outside of the country base?

I would agree that having a phone number as 24x7 support is good for traders, but there are going to be counter production at least in the exchanges side. (need to hire many support, cost, training etc). So this is not a good idea, that's why the best way to reach them out is thru their support email or even at their official social media accounts. And if ever there are exchanges that have support number like Cex and Coinbase, I'm sure you will just get a basic reply from them.

I have not used exchangers that have phone service support. I think so almost all of them do not have this service because it is a hassle for them. When we encounter an issue on their platform, they also often request a screenshot of your concern, especially if there is an error. So they can only provide email or live support. It seems uncomfortable to send MMS using the phone because it is often only used for SMS and OTP verifications. And then it is also right to say that there may be more problems when talking via call because they do not understand each other due to the language barrier.

So, no one has any suggestion?  Undecided

I was actually planning to switch to a better exchange asap.

Thanks,

I have never experienced complaining in the exchanges service before but I found out that phone support are truly rare including my chosen exchanges. Still there are a couple exchanges that have 24/7 phone support like Coinbase and cex.io. These are their support information according to Google, for Coinbase Customer service: 00 1 888-908-7930 and https://cex.io/contacts. Hopefully they are all still active numbers.

Why not try the other big platforms such as Binance and Kucoin but of course, don't expect a quick response for let's say within just a minute, hours, or a single day.

OP go with this suggestions as they're better alternative to whatever exchange that you're using. I think there was a time Binance exchange was quite active on social media platforms resolving use issues of their customers. Binance is one of the best in customer service although the options of contacting them via phone support, that I don't think they have but their emails support services is very reliable even though they sometimes just copy paste their responds too but they try as much as they can to resolve your issue.

The service you ask for would be quite challenging for any exchange with large users to pull off. Those that have millions of customers can't handle the pressure that'll come from calls and the issues might not be very clear unlike when they're in written form with some Images for clearer understanding of what are the challenges that you're facing. Just move on to better exchanges.

I doubt that any exchange provides you phone customer support. They all (as I know) support customers through email, support ticket or chat.

Phone conversation is bad as it is a challenge for customer staffs to listen to international voice and with such difference in languages, conversation would go void. With customers who have used English as their second language, email, support ticket or chat is best for them.

You have to wait their system and staffs to fill your ticket. If you don't receive answer as fast as you expect, bump your support ticket but please don't create a new ticket. It only create bigger pressure on support system, and you get cons in return.

Please check their ToS or FAQ pages and figure out you broke any rule on their platform. Big exchanges only restrict customer accounts if they detect something suspicious, fraudulent things. They don't destroy their reputation with non sense restrictions.

Big exchanges do have lots of users. You can't just expect a response within just a few minutes after you send them a query.

You should be used to that. These are global exchanges supporting several countries. Just imagine how many tickets they are receiving everyday so live support might not be entertained. As for my own, my patience can last until 2-3 days waiting for the response to my ticket lol.

Ok can you please suggest some exchange that has 24/7 chat support?  I couldn't find any...  Huh
It depends on an exchange but most do have online chat support. So the question is which exchange are you talking about? I could give you some directions.

The exchanges that I have used that have online chat support both on the websites and apps are;
- Binance
- Kucoin
- Bybit (derivatives exchange)

Honestly, I think email or Livechat are the fastest, cheapest and easiest way of getting helped. Let's say even if you contact them through a phone call or video call, they will still have to forward the issue to the technical team depending on what kind of problem you have. Don't expect the customer assistants to solve your problem while on phone, So how you contact them does not matter.
Well, you have a point, there is some exchange that has 24/7 customer support through live chat or in sending to their official email address. I don't think calling will helpful enough, it perhaps has cost while you are calling and you can even show the proof or documents if you have a technical problem.  The live chat is more likely good customer support than calling on the phone because you are not in a call center to answer every customer's concern. But still, OP prefers what he wants.

Well they all have a lot of work so I'm not sure when would you get response. Last help I needed was with kucoin and they responded really fast. Dunno was I lucky tho or they are that fast.

Also take note that big and popular exchanges tend to have way many volumes of customers inquiring at any given time as compared to less popular exchanges. I had to wait for over 2 hours on an online chat queue to have my problem sorted in Binance while Kucoin took me only 3 minutes at around the same time.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
Most exchanges the huge one has phone numbers for their customer support, but do you know the similarities of these, it's rarely used, some of them are just automated response which is deemed useless, sometimes no answer at all, and it's costly calling from another country to another.

Contacting these exchanges via email support is the only easy way.

They don't have any phone support.

Coinbase does have phone support. Head over to their 'Contact us'[1] page and just scroll down to see their contact numbers. Exchanges in general seems to be having problems with the surge of new users lately so a bit more patience might be needed.

This number is an automated number. It only works for account compromise and this automated service will just close your account!  Give it a try. I been there done that...

My fully verified coinbase account is under 'Review' for weeks without any explanation and ZERO customer support.

telephone support? Are you in a rush just for phone support? I think if there is, is your phone number compatible if your country does not have a support center in your country? Do you feel it is enough to pick up calls between countries? Coinbase example, they have telephone support, but are you based in UK, US and Ireland? If not, then they provide support via email message.

Not sure if that would be of any help because even it appears that unless your account got hacked, you'll have to reach out to them by email. From the contact us page:

If you suspect your account has been compromised, call the Coinbase Support phone number to immediately disable your account. For all other inquiries, the contact form on this page is the best way to contact us.

We have different exchanges and even one of the largest exchanges didn't have good customer support.  Once we have a technical problem, commonly we contact them at their email contact, not the phone number, probably they only hired 1-5 customer representatives to answers all queries and they can't able to accumulate if there are too many of them.

Have you tried this exchange?
https://cex.io/contacts  --> Support phone number: +1 845 834 8017 (Toll-free)

You can find it on the CMC exchange, and find the "Contacts Us" button below the homepage.
