I have participated in so many bounties and I have seen many bounties who ended on time and some even before time EIDOO is the example of such bounty, I participated in EIDOO bounty campaign and it was ended before time.
YES there are also some bounties that includes extra weeks, such bounties are of those projects who are most of time struggle to meet their soft and hard caps, in simple words they struggle to obtain required level of investments in their projects, This is the major reason why they drag the bounty campaigns that long because they need extra time and the marketing support from bounty participants to help attract investments in their projects. In my personal experience such bounty campaigns prove unsuccessful from bounty hunter's point of view but this is not always the case. This is my personal experience maybe there were bounty campaigns who may have rewarded well for being extended.. SO keep on participating in such campaigns don't quit in the mid way because if they extend the bounty campaigns ending date, they also increase the amount of skates to be awarded to participants.

Its no issue if the fundraising sales is still ongoing on exchange, this can make the team extend the bounty period until the ICO/IEO is over, not all bounty projects that got extended are crap like many said on here

This is not important fact even if those projects have good position, because this year totally low investor for new projects. But i want recommend that the real project don't agree long time bounty program because there token sales will be successful in short time so never need extra time. Basically if one project want IEO in binance then there will no need long time bounty program because binance not accepted it.

I don't really remember if I had participated in a project that added extra weeks to the bounty campaign. For me personally this will certainly make many people participating will feel that this project is not finished and they will feel that it is just a waste of time. But, maybe there is a separate reason why the project is getting longer, maybe also so that the project can achieve what has been targeted right and if the project is successful we will also feel the results.
as long as the campaign is not a scam and still gets rewards that haven't changed or added that doesn't matter to me.
but if it adds weeks and the project fails I think it's too much. I've experienced things like this and get reward that is worthless.
All bounty campaign participants hope that if the project being promoted is successful and will surely feel disappointed they only do wasted work, if there is a bounty week there is usually an increase in the duration of the ICOs/IEOs project to get at least a softcap but if it adds weeks and the project fails I think it's too much. Its not just a good idea but a terrible idea, especially when pool is not increased. Once I encounter such, I rather quit and do more meaningful things with my time that working off my butt for some developer with in humane working conditions. To ice the cake, some add token locks to the condition

Exactly, so once a certain project has enough time to do their ICO then after few weeks, they started to tell bounty campaign will be extended, then you should do your part and investigate about what is the real happen, is the softcap not reached yet, or no investors at all yet, besides you can check it as the bockchain is not lying, so there is a way for us to know the truth if the team doesn't want to answer.

I have same experience like that. I still remember i was joined signature campaign. You may stop now its up to you but if the project have a good profit you can continue. Usually there is rule explain that they can change the rules anytime they want. You should aware to that rule

And also, if they increase the allocation of the bounty, it will not make any loss.most of bounty extended reasons are the project hasnt reached its softcap.
but i think to be fair, even the project hasnt reached softcap, it must stop. including the bounty, not continue to get more money without any deadline

I dont think it's good for both. Because when the Bounty being longer, it will require hunter take more time doing task, and the number of stake will be higher make the value of one stake decrease. This is not a good way for you, now better for you to out of this bounty, if not, the result maybe bad for both. The bounty manage will need more time and the number of stake will be really big that they need to spend more time paying for that I have same experience like that. The bounty i am promoting presently suppose to end in October but was extended for extra 2months but i am not bothered because
1. There is no new bounty that is presently worth switching to.
2. Ez365 is a very good project and i am sure it will worth all the extra work

It's not unusual that projects can increase the number of weeks for which it is meant to be run. But the question is that "are bounty hunters getting paid for the extra week of work?"
