yes, right now merged mining isn't supported by the new code, just support for the blockchain.

I understand that you don't trust the new code, but generally  do you plan to add new coins in the pool?

I like Extremepool. It's fast-working and productive. Mine in this pool is one of the best, but I would like to mine a new coins such as FCN

I have a work around currently in place, there are no issues with payouts on the ducknote pool.
that commit from what I have read and heard from zone only validates the length of the address, not if it is actually valid.  if zone merges then I will update my pull, otherwise I don't trust the code.

Another thing i noticed - https://github.com/zone117x/node-cryptonote-pool/pull/48 is a commit for duckNote address validation. Looks like patch is working on http://ducknote.xminingpool.com because once i missed my duckNote address while mining my miner missed connection, when i change it start working.
It is a major issue with http://duck.extremepool.org/ no address validation, one of the reasons i am not currently mining on your great pool.

Yes, I think it will be great. FCN could become #1 alt coin due such benefits as merged mining

I am waiting for the original developer of the code to look at xminning's code.  Please not his pool code just has support for the fantomcoin blockchain and does not actually have the ability to perform merged mining.

I'm agree. Moreover developer of Xmining Pool published his changes and now all pools will be able to involve the FCN

Will do I just compiled the new cryptozoidberg cpuminer-multi, hashing now. 
One minor thing on your page for the instructions on test stratum, you need the link to direct to the cryptozoidberg build of cpuminer-multi rather than lucasjones one and the -a options for cpuminer-multi minerd needs to be -a wildkeccak
Hate to nitpick,  I'm sure anyone testing for you will realize this. 

there is new code for the boolberry pool that is being tested..
I have a separate pool up at http://boolberry.extremepool.org if you are interested in testing.. also the boolberry dev has a test pool up as well.
