Facebook isn't against bitcoin or to an ICO. however they still ban ICO ADS because there are alot of scams that time and until now. Facebook only wants to protect it's users. Also there is a rumor that facebook will get into crypto so logically their not against in this industry.

I think facebook forbid bitcoin is not quite right. Facebook really wants to ban the excessive advertising of ICO projects because the more people use the ICO to scam. I think that some individuals working on Facebook are also keeping bitcoin or some other virtual currency. They must have seen the potential of this market.

Yes all about scam ico which want to collect as much as money from investor.
Bitcoin does not have the relation with this forbidden because in the future i guess facebook will have its own cryptocurrency which is legit.

Facebook is not against cryptocurrencies, they just do not like the spam that bounty hunters do.

Because they believe that Facebook prohibits bitcoin and ICos and other cryptocurrency
The new Facebook policy will not allow announcements of known digital currency exchanges or initial offers of currencies.
Is it to avoid fraud or false advertising? That's why?
I think the banning of crypto ad related has not been successful for facebook since i can see many advertisement regarding ICOs on Facebook.

Facebook is not against bitcoin. Facebook just wants to avoid scams to protect the people from it. They are just blocking the advertisements about bitcoin because we all know that some of it might be actually some scam. It does not tell you or stop you from sharing stuff like those though. This is more of an attempt to protect you from scammers, but they are not stupid, they will not restrict your freedom of speech, surely there are quite reasonable people who have found a normal protection mechanism

In general, the policy of companies such as Twitter and Facebook is understandable - they want to protect their users from a large number of scams and this is correct.

It will be an inconvenience if: Most users of the social media site have the potential to get ads for initial coin offerings, including those promising sky-high returns as well as bonuses for early participation. Other advertisements seen on the platform of investment advice around the crypto market.

Facebook is more against people getting scammed using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The ban on crypto ads is in other to protect facebook users from continously falling for these scams. There is even news going around that facebook might be working on their own cryptocurrency.
Yes, I think this is a relatively neutral attitude, and they do not want to publicize fraud projects. This will have a negative impact.

I do not think that facebook strongly influences the market of crypto-currency. In occasion of fake news from any scam-projects: they should be guarded always, regardless where you are, on facebook or other social network.

I think that's the reason too. Facebook want to avoid false advertising from cryptocurrency because many scammers Is spreading in facebook right now. And i think cryptocurrency has a benefits too in that policy, we can still promote many projects in using twitter, signature or translation campaign.

Of course, Facebook knows much more than we can imagine, so I suppose that this ban is only a harbinger of the next sanctions in relation to the digital market.

Many false information about nonsense ideas are being posted on Facebook and thats the reason why they do not allow to post any ICO related stories to avoid from scammers. Facebook is the most visited online site and it is justifiable to ban from any crypto related post.

facebook does it all for the security of its users, facebook does not want its users exposed to fraud. and facebook also does not want the platform used as an arena for advertising fraud. because at this time many ICO ads are ending with fraud

For ordinary members of the crypto community, the new Facebook initiative will lead to difficulties with the promotion, since all project participants collected the main traffic using social platforms, where Instagram and Facebook occupy an impressive market share.

Facebook is simply opposed to advertising ICO. After all, most of these projects are not regulated by current legislation. And Facebook is positioning itself as a law-abiding market participant.

That is correct however, it likely also views Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as competing technologies to whatever it may be planning to develop although rumors its seeking to create its own cryptocurrency haven't been officially confirmed

As for me it's just a struggle for power and money, just everyone who advertises ICO, they do not pay Facebook because they want to ban completely this free advertising there.
