bitcoin and other crypto currencies can still grow even if FB has banned ads about crypto currency. crypto currency remains widespread with google and other applications such as telegram, twitter, Blog and others. there is nothing to be worried about if only the FB prohibits because there are still other social media that still support crypto currency.

I can't say I blame them one bit.

There's a booming economy behind all this spamming, and we all know the hows and whys, because a lot of the recruiting for this shit happens on bitcointalk.  I have a feeling that a lot of these people's social media followers are fake, and created for the purpose of allowing them to spam for money.  And people are getting tired of seeing posts advertising these scammy-ass ICOs that they probably don't have a clue how they work anyway.

I think it's a fantastic decision on the part of FB to do this.  The part of my that is completely heartless hopes this hits the 3rd world shitposters in their wallets HARD.  Maybe they can go out and get real jobs instead of spamming.

If this news is real then it is a very very sad news, as for all we know Facebook has the largest community in social media, it will be a great help in educating people with bitcoin. Or maybe their jealous because people were more busy in bitcoin rather than a Facebook thing.

I think facebook didnt really banned cryptocurrency and ico.. Facebook just become more strict to all the links that was posted.. Links should be ramdomly posted at a time to avoid facebook to delete post and consider it as a spam... I can still post links and bounties without getting deleted...and avoid posting same links to groups facebook may delete it.. Based from ly experience...

I hope that it will be not with reposts and posts about cryptocurrency and ICO. I don't care about official ads but trend is not so good for us.

I think they will not banned all the bitcoin/altcoins related ads on fb. Maybe they will be more strict now on it to minimize the advertisement of scam platforms or ICO's. On other hand, some of the bounty managers here in bitcointalk are always ready , I observed some of the  bounty  campaigns now have no facebook bounty campaign category.

What a joke? CEO Facebook said half month ago "I like it ICO and we will be study it" then throught few time Facebook banned ICOs lol.

Yes, I remember half a month ago when the founder of facebook said he liked the cryptocurrency, and I thought facebook would launch its own cryptocurrency.
I didn't realize that in half a month facebook had banned the ICO ads, and I even suspected that he was manipulating the market price.

Seems facebook have changed their decisions? What do you think? At this time, we can still allowed to advertise our bounties there. i think its a good sign.   Hope they will not totally banned crypto ads in fb, only those suspecious ponzi schemes and scam coins.

Yeah, I read that and it quite caught my eye that many of these social media companies and owners don't exactly understand the principles behind an evolving and fast pace technologically driven market like the cryptocurrency. There isn't a bubble anywhere.
To be honest I do not believe that a company like Facebook does not understand exactly what cryptocurrencies are like.
Maybe they do it because they understand it too well and they see it as a treath.
It is a matter of privacy or business related matters but for now i still can see those crypto and ICO ads nowhere an is sponsored to be shown publicly. Facebook is not the only social media that we can rely on but it is a good example for advertising their ICOs and there is a lot of social media has been used since everyone was using Facebook before. I guess a lot of complaints about of the scammed ICOs and it brings a bad reputation to everyone.

Facebook as a company believe it's their duty to protect their customers interests. I would say that my own opinion falls differently in thinking that it's actually their responsibility to vet those who choose to advertise with them. But it's there own choice.

With greater regulation coming in to place in the market we'll hopefully have less and less scam ICOs and then facebook may open ad's again.

this is very bad news for the world of crypto and ico, because I think facebook is one of the biggest social media and almost everyone has one facebook account, with the ban ads on facebook, it will reduce the number of new investors as well

Yes, this is pretty sad news. But still I think that they are all subject to political ideas. It is necessary to support projects with decentralized servers, so that nothing could prevent the development of humanity

This decision does not impact the shared content, likes or posts, only the ads in the tool.
It is a decision that is not positive but aims to protect lay users from potential scam projects.

I am pretty shocked that Facebook did this, but I am happy. No longer will I see poor ICO adverts promising the world if I invest.

This will only empower bounty campaigns though as they will be more important to ICOs, so good for bounty hunters!

As a bounty hunter, let's be ready for whatever the decisions from fb. We need to switch to other alternative sites such as , linked in, instagram,VK which are some of bounty campaigns here in bitcointalk started accepting these platforms. ALso we need to practice more in blogging,video.. seems these campaigns has big allocations.
