This is definitely going to hurt up and coming ICOs as FB is a major part of any ICOs marketing arsenal.  There are other platforms, but none as targeted as FB

That is true. As FB is a global link to every one.

It is definitely alarming especially with the number of people on FB currently. I do agree that these are all rumours until there is full confirmation about the ban on crypto advertising

Bitcoin, the world's largest virtual currency (cryptocurrency), tumbled 11 percent on Thursday, to its lowest level since November. The decline occurred because of Facebook's ban on cryptocurrency ads and the growing regulatory reaction to newborn markets scared off investors.

Yeah, I read that and it quite caught my eye that many of these social media companies and owners don't exactly understand the principles behind an evolving and fast pace technologically driven market like the cryptocurrency. There isn't a bubble anywhere.
To be honest I do not believe that a company like Facebook does not understand exactly what cryptocurrencies are like.
Maybe they do it because they understand it too well and they see it as a treath.
It is a matter of privacy or business related matters but for now i still can see those crypto and ICO ads nowhere an is sponsored to be shown publicly. Facebook is not the only social media that we can rely on but it is a good example for advertising their ICOs and there is a lot of social media has been used since everyone was using Facebook before. I guess a lot of complaints about of the scammed ICOs and it brings a bad reputation to everyone.

i dont think it's that bad, we should have more visibility on already started projects than relying on ICOs that can be scams

Couldn't agree more. This shouldn't matter as legitimate blockchain projects should stand on their own longer term and not rely on marketing hype to be successful.

There is nothing to worried i think. It only banning advertisements not our posts so that we can post as before. Moreover it is on discussing process, it will work after activation of company.

True, only the ads were prohibited by facebook officials.
For you as a bounty hunters, you can still post or share bitcoin / cryptocurrency links, as usual.

PS : Make positive comments about bitcoin on your facebook.

Guys what can you say about this article spreading in fb that fb will going to ban all the advertisements which related to bitcoin  and other crypto currencies including ICOs? As a bounty hunter, its seems very alarming.

Please read article: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/30/facebook-cryptocurrency-ads-banned--including-bitcoin-and-icos.html?__source=facebook%7Cnow

Alarming for bounty hunters? I see no. There are been ICO's in the past who not rely purely on Facebook in terms of advertisement. Yes it's a big help but overall, there are lots of means to spread their respective ICO's , not just in Facebook. If all about bounty thing, the percentage of rewards for Facebook bounties is not that much so a removal of it will not hurt bounty hunters. While on the other hand, if looking at the impact of advertisements, just look in the past where ICO's exposure is not that present much in Facebook but still some ICO's became success.

And aside from that, there are ICO advertisements in Facebook that isn't good to be true. It will just lead for misleading information and conception by people about the project. So for me, that will be a good move by Facebook.
Im still on neutral side when it comes to this decision made by facebook.Talking about bounty allocation in facebook campaign it is really much lesser compared into another medium of advertisement which i do agree that there still places which even more worth than facebook to advertise on.It might have a big traffic but doesnt mean it can get higher traffic or crypto-related investors. Theres no assurance regarding on this matter.

I think it is not a good news not only for bounty hunter but also developer and bounty manager, facebook is one of best media to advertise a product specifically ICO in this case. If facebook is banned, then bounty manager and developer should find other social media or mass media to advertise their products. As bounty hunter, it is important to follow the instruction from developer or bounty management. Perhaps it is better also bounty hunter to assist by inputting idea or feeding alternatives.

People who want to advertise cryptocurrencies can do it using various methods either on Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, and so on. They can pay famous Youtubers and tell them to say something about cryptocurrency at the end of the video, thus crypto will be well-advertised and without any problems.

People do not care about Ads on fb even if they are about cryptocurrency. Personally, I do not like seeing them on facebook. They are very annoying. And I believe they have already banned those Ads from fb.

Well, we are different. I like the way I saw many crypto advertisements on fb which you can choose various of platforms to be invested especially those with good platforms but not so popular. The only I hated platforms which posted on fb are those  with networking system with referral bonuses. Facebook is an advantage to people who are new in the crypto world but want to invest a new platforms. For me its good , but spammers abused it.
