it's very disappointing to hear facebook has banned ico ads, and do not let google follow the footsteps of facebook, because if google to do so, then I'm sure the market price will drop and the number of investors will also decrease

Yahoo and Bing will have a great reason to celebrate if Google ever bans crypto promotion Grin Grin It is a huge piece of dollar pie and the world's top search engine won't ban it.

Hopefully the ecosystem will dissolve all the scammers.

FB was a jungle with many scam projects being promoted although i doubt it if google will ban is as well.
i saw in many Crypto sites Google ads.
Yes scam is the biggest problem in a cryptocommunity, but I do not imagine how ecosystem can dissolve all the scammers. Some strict actions should be taken.
I think they already did that but still we can't avoid other ICO who's intention is not good. And it is hard to determine which ICO is legit. Moreover, I think not all ICO were totally banned.

The google is not going to follow the Facebook example. I think somebody just paid to the Facebook and they did it just to earn some money. The google is rich enough for that sort of things.
I think that Google doesn't do this. Facebook is afraid of losing advertising contracts, which will go to the community. I think companies will buy advertising directly to consumers without intermediaries in the future.

Unlike google, Facebook is a social media site, and i dont see the comparison here, nor similar repercussions of any such move. Google has no need to follow in facebooks footsteps, nor any need to implement any such ban.

I think google can't ban the facebook marketing because facebook marketing is going very speedly and facebook are paying some money of marketing to google and google follows to facebook marketing.

Overall, I don't see Google following in the same path as FB. And I am going to have to disagree with Mr. Stanfords opinion that, “Regulation will only speed up adoption by bringing it more attention.” There has to be a better method to weed out what is real and what isn't, or at least I hope there will be.

I dont think so because google has the biggest advertising company in the world which is adsense, youtube and google has partnership with this advertising program which is a lot bigger than facebook's advertising program.Google doesnt care about what you are doing if you are paying good in their services, censorship is less concern with google.

I think that there will not be a direct ban on google. Most ICO projects attract investors through advertising and a well-hyped project. Yes, some are scammers, but not all. I think that facebook still realizes that it has lost a large audience of users of its network.

I dont think google would do that, because these ICOs are paying good amount of money to their advertisement, google is less complicated than facebook's because FB has minor audience that is why they are just protecting the folks from a potential scams, because we all know that most of the ICOs are raising funds too much but at the end will run away from the investors,GOOGLE is the biggest advertising company and facebook is a social media website.

Can't believe google will follow FB and stop all ICO advertisment.
FB probably did it cause of Scam projects that she couldn't controll - The only way to be clean from it for them was to pause all advertising.
I agree, FB is just full of bullshit, regarding any category, not only crypto. But, as usual, cryptos are evil  Roll Eyes

I was surprised about FB decision. Because they have a plan introduce their own cryptocurrency in this year or next year. I don't think google follow that. If they do, it will be a next market crash.

I don't think google will follow. Facebook actually still post ads and campaigna about ico's until now. I still see ads and campaigns about the latest ICO's on my wall. I don't think google will follow facebook for banning campaigns because it isn't censored and restricted unlike social medias these days.

When one can tell the difference between the scams and fake projects the fakes are actually very beneficial.  They keep people out of the real projects for long enough to make a fortune.  Stop worrying about it and start playing the game guys.  A lot of special snowflakes miss out on great opportunities crying about everything when you could be profiting.  These scams may be helping you get great prices on real projects.

Also if they could stop the scamming they would have done it by now.  its not possible.  Its like trying to build a unbreakable safe.  Eventually the crooks get in.

By the way, why did facebook do so. What do you think? I think that facebook just wants money, of course, he wants money, because people collect such amounts of money on the ICO, but here it turns out that facebook does not get a single cent from this advertisement, although people advertise it

I'm still seeing lots of ICO ads on Facebook. They're not banning ico ads actually.
They're banning fake ico news which try to download virus, trojan, malware etc.
Why they targeted ICO ads? Because in these days ICO's are getting more attention than naked girls etc.

It looks strange that the Facebook banned some forms of cryptocurrency advertisement. I thought Mark Zuckerberg is interested in developing both its own cryptocurrency and the whole cryptomarket.
