Probably fake?

Even if so, the Zynga + BTC testing should be more than sufficient to put the proverbial foot-in-the-door for Bitcoin and Facebook. As payment for virtual items it's already been in play with BigPoint Games for a few months now.

this didn't seem to make sense.. accepting btc is too much of a risk for a company like facebook, and what are the benefits really?

it's probably a fake ...

Unfortunately that isn't the case.  There have been plenty of articles not mentioned here.

All very positive.  Still encourage everyone to get a google news feed app on their phone and enter "bitcoin" as the search phrase for daily updates.

All right then, is just that I do that (search news by bitcoin) and all the times that I was going to post something here I found it (using the search function before posting), and seeing the constant hype here I guessed it will be hard for people to miss anything. Bare in mind that many times news are posted in unrelated sub-forums and/or with non descriptive titles, but I guess that's another subject. Lips sealed

Either folks at FB are worse in CSS than me in MS Paint, or this is fake:

Well, is that website legit or not?

I see some errors in the writing, but still, it looks like a serious site.

Is this legit? Is there any indication of this not being a fabrication?

Agreed, this could be very easily faked.

Most articles in Google News are repeated, but anyway, if there's any positive news about bitcoin you'll find that someone already posted it in this forum (more than once usualy)..  Grin

Tons of stuff not seen here.

Also Coindesk.com has tons of new info you dont see here.

In fact, most of the podcasts I listen to on Bitcoin have information nobody mentions here.

Do these sites even technically need to accept btc? Couldn't they just use a payment processor who takes the btc payment and converts it to usd for the company? I don't see why companies can't do that and sort of indirectly accept bitcoin.

Finally some good news.

I encourage you to daily search google news for "bitcoin".
The number of good news articles coming out daily is staggering.  Bitcoin is booming around the world right now.
If this website is your only source of information, i encourage you to use Google news.

Usually I would call bullshit but because I've had some experience with AM and Facebook ads, knowing how close Zynga and FB were at one time, this actually makes sense as a lot of AM's have been moving into the bitcoin space during the last quarter of 2013.

I am not sure if this is true or not but it could be.
Zynga is testing it and most of their userbase is facebook.
If it's true that Zynga pays about 9% on fees I can see a similar situation for facebook.
