As you know Facebook launched its upcoming cryptocurrency whitepaper that is LIBRA and will come in 2020, i think will be boost crypto market.
Already the rumours about the global Libra coin has started and hit the market. The existence of the biggest social media crypto will definitely increase the awareness and popularity. Stable version is not bad idea and it will be pegged to top world currencies.

It looks like this Facebook-launched coin won't be mining, because I'm sure Facebook wants to make this coin environmentally friendly.

Everything has yet to be revealed in detail. But many people are still very eager and ready to buy money to buy Globalcoin's token. This is really a potential token and it will stir up the market with extremely large market capitalization.
Their team dev will definitely be very good and it will produce great technology solutions in the future.

Potential tokens? can you explain why you call it potential token? even the price of libra will not fluctuate high because this coin is stable and centralized.

I think Libra will grow very well immediately after the launch of the coin on the exchange.

What you mean with "grow", as it is a stablecoin in terms of price it can not grow, its pegged to fiat.

To be honest, I still cannot believe Facebook is issuing its own digital currency until an official statement of the social media giant comes by. But I do not mean that I do not have trust in cryptocurrency. I am a strong supporter of cryptocurrency. But regarding a coin to be launched by Facebook, I still have doubt. If this happens, it will do miracle.
I think they are preparing for Globalcoin and will have an official announcement soon. It seems that it will not be possible to buy because financial companies have invested in it first.

many sources and news say that if Facebook issues its own digital currency it is very real and valid. right now we are just waiting for the explosion in the price of the coin and the position of the Facebook coin in the exchange if it will be released soon

Facebook's new cryptocurrency "Libra" is bad news for Bitcoin.  Facebook will target the very market Bitcoin is counting on for growth, the unbanked in nations with high inflation.  Libra will be stable, and much easier and cheaper to use as a medium of exchange than Bitcoin.

Ive read conflicting news concerning the upcoming facebook coin.  Ive read the project was called Libra and ive also read that the coin will be called Libra. Ive also read that the coin is going to be called globalcoin but there is already a globalcoin (GBC) created in 2012.  Wonder what the algo is going to be fore their new coin (whatever its name is) and is it going to be minable by GPU, CPU and Asic?
Well let us wait for their confirmation regarding on this, as I heard Libra is a stable coin, well if this true it will give a big impact on the crypto currency maybe the price of the crypto would soar high than the usual, I think this news is the most awaited in over the world, I'd like to buy this coin if it is true it was a good investment.

There has been a lot of confusion about the upcoming Facebook coin. The confusion is centered on the rumours thats has been going around for months now. I think we should just keep calm and wait for the official announcement from the project itself. We should stop confusion on whether its globalcoin or Libra.

I know that there are lot of FB community waiting for this, and as far as I know their launch will be happen next year. So there are 6 months more to go dude to wait. And also we don't know for now if it is minable or not, because they're not giving any specification about their coin. Just all I know for sure is that FB coin surely 100% centralized based system, and I think for me if you are crypto enthusiast 100% there is an disadvantages when it happen.

No one can mine it, its a stable coin.  Its been said before. There ain't no sure yet how to earn this coin  but since its pegged in dollar, I guess you can just buy a dollar each. If we can earn it by continuing the use of facebook I would try to use facebook everyday Smiley Someone says, our data are going to act as fuel to make a transaction lol I don't know how that works.

Stablecoins are coming, Libra is one, so is JPMorgans coin and a shit ton of others, like
https://www.coindesk.com/switzerlands-six-stock-exchange-is-working-on-a-swiss-franc-stablecoin

What can be said of a stablecoin, well its stable.
For 1 Dollar worth of stablecoin someone gets a Dollar worth of xyz stablecoin minus transaction fee.
Changing it back someone will get 1 Dollar minus transaction fee.

Every large company will have its own stablecoin/token even celebs,

I think Libra coin was legit for me, their website was already up. But for Globcoin, I still can not say. Because I still have not seen their website. But on Libra, they have a good insight on the project, but still waiting for some verification on some bigger users.

Facebook is already having the needed hype and its libra coin will likely receive the necessary boost soon after its launch but my inference is that after a while it will become like a regular project just like other social tokens. Waiting for their public sale if any

here you have the most right answer ask expert blockchain

Believe It or Not some one reached CNBC channel and told them we need to warren people that it not crypto coin and save millions of people fr0mt huge trap and false hope...

and they did it

here is the link to the video..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQyrlVH9iys

he explain in other words that stable coins are HUGE SCAM all of them ... why

when you exchange any paper money eith other paper money like for example euro with dollars or euro to canadian dollar its not an investment they are stable...you will not profit **

the same with stable coins when you exchange your dollar or any other paper money for stable crypto coin there is not profit its not growing and nothing its pure scam that suck money in it,

in other words if it paper money or crypto money and its not growing and their is no profit its the same shit nothing special,

what special about real crypto peer to peer coin without middle man

1. its hold value like diamond and gold and other expansive things and even million time better then any value hold because it grow * so deep who get it

2. when can buy with it compare to gold or diamonds or other things that hold value, can you go to shop and say take this diamond and i will take this object and give me the rest in money paper...here where the magic come * its hold value and as money...two important factors in the same point

now there is real stable coin peer to peer without any middle man and it works on self backed smart code and dont pegged to anything...

and its work like this

there is x amount of coins and in one point there is huge buy(demand for the coin) so the code produce more coins(print new coins) and visa versa when their is low buy and almost no body buy coin the code burn/destroy/reduce the total amount of coins and by this make stable real crypto coin

very simple no body need to be smart to understand this but

crypto pegged(backed) to crypto or paper money its pure scam , i dont want to get more deep i just fucking lazy but its scam because ,

the real crypto stable i explained above keep the price stable ,,,the other stable crypto coins are not crypto coins as you need middle man and its no peer to peer and other alot of factors that i dont get about but this is very good to understand.

and ask why we need scams like crypto stable coins pegged to paper money or pegged to other crypto when we have real crypto stable coin peer to peer that make the job?Huh its not weird Huh indeed because they scam our ass,

what the problem with stable REAL crypto coin that work on smart code which reduce or produce more coins relative to to buy and sell of the coin, the problem is that crypto have 2 important factors in one point

1. hold value
2. can be used to buy and exchange

aren't they registered with Coinmarketcap

although actually I am also not convinced thoroughly but, is there maybe someone who carelessly carries the big name of Facebook committing fraud?

You stick "crypto" or "bio" on something and you can literately sell any junk this days
Libra has nothing to do with crypto its a digital currency and designed as stable coin, buying it is like buying USD or Euro, inflationary, (losing value over time)
