I recently made a sizeable wager on a esports market on fairlay.com.  The bet won, and everything was hunky dory.  My account got paid and everything.  Then they void the bet the next day.  Apparently, the market maker is claiming the bet was made after the match started.  The bet was made during the draft, minutes before the start of the match.  The public records (the ones fairlay's completely unhelpful support staff directed me to) indicate the bet was made during the draft.  They review the case, and do nothing.  They keep the bet voided as apposed to giving me my rightful winnings.  The only recourse I have left is to blast fairlay.com on social media and public forums until they pay me back my money.  Do not use this site if you an enjoyable winning experience, as they will void your bet without a valid reason and steal your money at any time.
Have you ever tried to contact their support? This casino is a reputable one for me as they are not new to cryptocurrency betting. If you wouldn't, try contacting their support. And if you do, please provide some more evidences to support your claim.
Is this casino active here?
The @OP's issue has been already answered by one of the Fairlay representative who said there was timing issue due to which the bet was declared void.I don't know whether there is time and bet placed are synchronised properly on the site but which is not the case because if this was the issue then many bets would have yeild the same results. It might be a bug due to which @OP faced this issue which needs to be resolved even if the winning amount is small.

They maintain that the bet was made live-in play and deserves to be void despite the obvious evidence to the contrary.  Their support staff continues to be uncooperative.
That's a bit of a bullshit move from them given that there's already an evidence to counter what they're saying, I think that they really don't want you to win money OP because if they were decent, pretty that they would've paid you already and they would've tried to not make it this far.

Fairlay.com is one of the old crytpo casinos around (Since 2014). I don't see why they would try to ruin their long built reputation over some few BTC. Nonetheless, having one's funds locked up can be so frustrating. Sorry about the experience.

danshan11 seems to be their representative in their Official ANN thread. Maybe you can try contacting him with the details.
Yeah i was wondering why a Very legit and trustworthy site will risk their reputation over this very few amount ?
and besides their team had answering issues over the years truthfully and valued their costumers/players all these years.
the way i see it the support find the bet questionable and if they are wrong i believe that this will be settled in right manner and not just automatically putting them in scam place when there are no complete talks.

What's the status of this allegation? I've seen that this website is one of the old betting sites, would that be possible that they might be really scamming people it's too bad that there's no representative here in the forum I tried to look online but only found this user which was already inactive: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/fairplay-2582351

I was thinking of depositing here, how did it end OP?

For the longest time I liked the site, then they scammed me.  I might try a site with a better history of paying out their users the bets they win if I were you.

OP, have you put a Scam Accusations thread on this website because this isn't the right place for accusations and you have to have some big proof that they are scamming you just for good measures.

I tried to check some of the accusations against the FAIRLAY.COM site, in this forum, there are 2-3 same accusations have been made against the complaints, by different users.

But I'm curious about FAIRLAY.COM users, no one takes what happened to the victim seriously.
The proof: these accusations:

Reference Link: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.24338073

Amount Scammed:  1.235

Payment Method: Bitcoins

Proof of Payment: To be Updated

PM/Chat Logs: To be Updated

Additional Notes: I advise you to not deal with this user until this dispute is resolved.

I don't see any warnings on the @FairlaySupport profile.

Because I've never played and visited their site, so don't really understand what's going on with the OP, even though you said so.

However, for that, try to contact @FairlaySupport user first, who knows if there is a solution for your case.

It will be best if you post according to the usual rules in the scam acquisition section. Then many more will be able to be careful.
Fairlay was a sports betting platform where limitless bets could be made.
In order to win fluently, where other sports bet platforms limit their users' accounts, everyone could play limitless bets in Fairlay.
Your claim is legitimate enough and obviously, they have forged with you, it seems that using this site is very risky now.

Limitless bets? You do know how a betting exchange works, right? To be able to place a bet somebody must offer it.

Fairlay has rendered their final verdict:
Chat Log:  You did not place your order before official starting times and we settle (and void) according to official starting times. This case is closed. Have a nice rest of the week.

Fairlay are thieves!  Give me my money back, scumbags!  The official start time listed is clearly before the draft phase, and I deserve my money!
You cannot achieve much by yelling in this thread since Fairlay have already provided their final verdict. Instead, I advise opening a scam accusation thread against them in the scam accusations section of the forum.

They will definitely reinvestigate your case if your scam accusation thread proves to be successful. Just my 2 cents.

There is a lot of confusion related to this case in my opinion. On one side, op seems to be saying the truth and has provided screenshots as proof to verify his claims.

On the other hand, the Fairlay representative has pointed out that there was a mix-up related to the start times. I guess the market timing(In question) on Fairlay wasn't synchronised properly with the official match timing.

If there was a synchronisation issue legitimately, the winnings should be returned to op.
If that's the case then the fault is in the site for not synchronizing the match timing and those who bet and won then after that they void the bet. I agree with returning the money to op. I think that they doesn't have a problem making their reputed site lose reputation due to a problem experienced by OP.

So far, upon searching about the scam accusation of them it seems that you are not the only one who's complaining about it. Though I can't believe they would just throw their long term reputation just to scam people, they should make/give you a reasonable explanation why they have to locked up your account. It's kind of frustrating if you believe you win then they suddenly froze your status in gambling.

You should have to make a thread about them on the scam accusation board and provide a clear evidence that they are indeed wrong and is scamming people.

You should've made a Scam Accusation against them and provide some evidence besides this thread because not everyone is going to be seeing it here plus you will be able to cover more people with different boards. Also, this is pretty serious because they are blatantly voiding your win and making you look like you did something wrong.

the match started officially at 1700 and the actual game started at 1714, your bet was 5 minutes and 14 seconds after that.

I dont see the issue here, I know it really sucks esports are very difficult and if you dont have something that says any different what do you expect fairlay to use?

there are hundreds even thousands of match start times and you cannot watch videos to see when they fired the first bullet of each one you have to use the site official start time and if there is an issue with the ruling fairlay is glad to review it and modify it if its incorrect.

sorry about that it really sucks but fairlay is very well known as trustworthy and any issues they try to resolve using Pinnacles rules where they are applicable

https://www.pinnacle.com/en/help/betting-rules#Esports

The match did not start at the official start time, 17:00 is a bold faced lie.  You CAN watch videos and see when the actual match started.  It did not start on time and if you add up the numbers my bet was fairly placed.  The only thing that really sucks is your and your book's ability to determine when a match started.  Fairlay did a horrible job reviewing my appeals, sided with the market maker, and chose to steal my bitcoin from me without cause.  Fairlay, while generally trustworthy in the past, is no longer trustworthy in my eyes.  They also have a well-documented history of stealing any money (sometimes vast sums in the hundreds of thousands of dollars) they deem to be "dirty."  That sounds to me like a site the public should know is clearly unsafe to use.

What if fairlay includes the draft as official game time, just like the official cq esports site does.
The draft phase is considered pre-match.  I've made hundreds of bets during the draft in the past and they've never tried these shenanigans on me before.
When the official game time is 17:14 - 17:51 its obviously not considered "pre-match". Find a video with time stamp of the match so you can prove your point. I doubt they would screw you over for 250$.
Also, its a betting exchange, isnt it. So they dont even pay you with their money, another reason not to screw you.

Market:  https://fairlay.com/archive/pain-vs-istanbul-wildcats/?referral=b8378473-cd8d-44e9-bd6d-130770e61974, you can see the time of the bet in UTC is 17:19:14, May 10th.  I bet on Pain Gaming, and then they won.  You can see here: https://imgur.com/a/p8Dss6j, the bet is voided.

They claim (in chat support): Ognjen-Support: Hi, Braille. Those orders were placed after the match started and according to our rules, "Bets placed on non-live markets after they started ("late matches") are subject to be voided. Knowingly betting on non-live markets after the corresponding event already started is regarded as fraudulent activity.

Ognjen-Support: We've double checked it and your orders were placed six minutes after the map started.

● Braille: My single order was placed as both teams had 3 players drafted

Ognjen-Support: If you have proof that your order was placed before the match started please let us know and we'll look deeper into it.
-
I gave them proof, they looked deeper into it, and they continue to deny me my winnings.

The evidence:  https://cq-esports.com/matches/lol/284134-pain-gaming-pain-vs-istanbul-wild-cats-iwc-msi-10-05-21.  Start time of 17:14 UTC, end time of 17:51 UTC, May 10th.

The listed start time appears at first to in fact be before the time of my bet.  However, if you look at the duration (28:49) of the match, here: https://gol.gg/game/stats/31273/page-game/, you can infer that the match ended at 17:51, started at roughly 17:22 (51-29min duration=22), and that the 17:14UTC start time is when the draft started, not when the match started.  This proves my bet @17:19:14 was before the match started, and must be legally honored.
