Hello!

The topic that took place was pretty important and we would like to clarify it more.

We would like to address the points that can be involved to this topic:

Platform Terms and Conditions: When creating an account on Fairspin, all users agree to the platform’s Terms and Conditions.
These terms clearly outline our policies, including minimum withdrawal limits, wagering requirements, and identity verification (KYC).

KYC Verification: As a regulated platform, KYC verification is a necessary step, especially for withdrawals.
This policy ensures the security of both the platform and its users, preventing fraud and adhering to compliance requirements.

Anyone can be sure that there were no incorrections and all points stayed in frames of standard processes.
We always care about only the best experience for every member of the gaming platform.

Respectfully,
Fairspin!

But when I checked if I could withdraw, I noticed they had this ridiculous minimum withdrawal limit set to 0.33 LTC. Like, seriously?
Ridiculous!! 0.33 LTC is standard withdrawal limit according to the LTC price now, it is not ridiculous. 0.33 LTC is equivalent to $30 only.

Quote
And the KYC? man, they don’t just ask for ID or basic stuff. They want phone calls, address verification, and manual checks. All this just to withdraw $40. Like, what the heck?
Fairspin reserves the right to apply the KYC verification rules anytime. It could be on the first withdrawal, and on any amount. You should have prepared for it as you have accepted their terms during registration. I can see that they are asking to submit the identity documents, liveness check and a phone call in the KYC verification process. These aren't really uncommon, but I know it is frustrating when a casino force to complete the KYC verification on such small withdrawal.

They have a mandatory KYC rule as I know: https://www.btcgosu.com/review/fairspin-casino/.

I am Gosu there for a long time... I even have one or two deposits, but since I didn't win anything and somehow I stopped playing I didn't see a reason to go through the KYC procedure.

I just checked and I have 597 TFS, I forgot that they have a daily free spin where we can win extra tokens.

Hi, I don't have much experience with crypto casino. I have only had one experience with a crypto casino so far, and that was with Betfin.

Well, when I read what you write, it's so weird. For $40, it's so shitty. I'm definitely not playing there.  Grin

Have you come across any better casinos? I'd be glad to get a recommendation.

I have been with stake for several years now... i play on other crypto casino just to try them out and most turn out to be decent and almost none force KYC down on your throat like that..I'd be ok with that kyc practice if they are regulated casinos like betmgm or fanduel but crypto casinos are supposed to require kyc as optional only. Stake doesn't require KYC but only if you win big or deposit big ( they claim its for your own safety and anti money laundering) , so will every other casinos.. to be fair, casinos don't like you make banks and take out money from them.. if you are a casual player like me, not a highroller.. feel free to try stake!! They do have good level up bonuses and weekly/monthlies.. on top of that if you wage a decent amount, you can get chance on the drops too but contested considering the amount of drops is limited.. and as always, dont keep your winnings on the casino, rather cashout immediately.. gl!

Fairspin is hands down one of the shadiest sites I’ve ever used. Here’s what happened to me:

I deposited 0.11 LTC, and everything seemed fine. No warning about KYC, no issues. But when I checked if I could withdraw, I noticed they had this ridiculous minimum withdrawal limit set to 0.33 LTC. Like, seriously? That’s three times what I deposited! So, I thought, fine, I’ll roll my deposit, and guess what? I managed to double it. But when I went to withdraw, boom !! they suddenly hit me with the KYC nonsense!

It gets worse. my buddy made an account to see what’s up, and we figured it out: until you hit their stupid 0.33 LTC threshold, they don’t even bring up KYC. But the moment you try to cash out, they throw everything at you — wagering requirements, KYC hoops, and even more nonsense. It’s like they’re setting you up to fail or just give up entirely.

And the KYC? man, they don’t just ask for ID or basic stuff. They want phone calls, address verification, and manual checks. All this just to withdraw $40. Like, what the heck? It’s so obvious they’re trying to frustrate you into leaving your winnings behind.

Oh, and don’t get me started on the privacy thing!! they’re collecting all this personal info, and we all know what shady companies do with that!! sell it off to brokers to make even more money.

Fairspin is a complete scam! they let you deposit easily, but when it’s time to cash out, they’ll block you with endless requirements and shady tactics.

Stay away, folks. It’s not worth the stress.

Great to know that the issue is resolved and congratulations the you, the complaint on receiving your funds,  all I can say is that, even as professionals as every casino try to appear, they are still not immune from making mistakes, most especially, when it comes to having to pay a bettor his or her winning, they wanna make sure they are giving out money to a scammer or somebody who won through a system error they probably did not take notice of on time, mostly in the area of slot games..

But one question I would never stop asking is, do they also put a losing bet through the same kind of scrutiny before deciding whether the player truly lost the bet and settle it accordingly?
This is because, losing bets are immediately settled, but a winning bet sometimes get scrutinized, causing the gambler to go through some level of stress, before they are finally granted access to their money..

Anyways, happy for this issue that's been resolved, at least, this adds another feather to the hats of fairspin, lets hope you guys will to build a good reputation all round.

'The customer is a pinata, let's see how much cash we can beat out of them.'
It's a perfect illustration of their mindset!

I don't agree with your goals, since it stated that it's not to get your money back, why not if I may ask, what are the possibilities that most players who read about your issues will take you seriously if you don't pro e that the casino took your money and you were able to prove that and get a recovery of the said amounts.

This is the reason why, you must fight to finish by making sure you get your balance back then you can freely warn others about the casino.
Of course I'll be happy if I get my money back, but the thing is, I'm a big online casino player.
I lose an average of €50k a year, and I'm okay with that. However, I refuse to lose money when I get ripped off.
You'll understand why $70 is insignificant to me, I'm not in need.

As for the possibility of players seeing my message, it's pretty high.
Since Fairspin scams a lot of people, I'll prove in the rest of my message, many people can type "Fairspin.io scam" into Google and come across these posts.

Update as of June 4, 2023

A complaint to CEG (Curaçao eGaming) was submitted on June 1, via their online form.
Today at 10:50 AM (CET), it has been qualified and Fairspin.io has 7 days to prove that I have violated one of their TOS.
Once again, they are blaming me for being a French citizen, on the other hand, no article restricts access to Fairspin.io based on player's nationality, but only based on the residence.
Since there's no article in their TOS proving that I've violated any of their rules, they're going to pay me.
The complaint was accepted only 3 days later after I submitted it, that's a good sign for me though.

@TruePlay_Affiliates don't be tempted to change your TOS to win the case, I've downloaded all your TOS, before submitting the complaints.

With this post alone, Fairspin.io makes it very clear that they are not professional at all:
  • They respond to the accusations with a new account instead of their official one, in their own thread.
  • They make no distinction between citizen and resident, and don't even know their own rules/TOS
  • Whereas all other crypto-casinos block players' accounts for the same reason as Fairspin, operators let players withdraw their final balance before permanently blocking accounts or blocking deposits. For a large sum, I can understand you being tempted by scam, but for $70 it's actually funny.

For players who are tempted to play on Fairspin.io, that are a citizen AND resident of an accepted country, here are a few points to dissuade you.

1. For the people on this forum, privacy is important.
At Fairspin it isn't, they systematically KYC your account. ID card, proof of address, bank card, everything goes.

2. The aim of a crypto-casino is to offer instant, or very fast, withdrawals. Today, this has become the norm.
Even if you withdraw in crypto-currency, they can take up to 10 days to pay you.
10 days for a crypto-casino is outrageous.

3. Look at the number of complaints on AskGamblers about Fairspin.io
A lot of people don't receive their winnings, even after 10 days and even if everything is in order.
Some even wait months!
https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/fairspin-casino-review/complaints

There's even this funny complaint on Casino Guru, from a player who wanted to withdraw $25,200, who waited several months before being paid... in increments of no more than €1,000.
https://casino.guru/fairspin-casino-player-s-struggling-to-withdraw-her-2

As a reminder, I'd never have played on Fairspin if I'd been able to sell my TFS (their tokens) on Pankakeswap.
But I'd be curious to know, what's the real advantage of playing on Fairspin?

TOS
They're not clear, and even Fairspin isn't up to speed on its own rules.

The games on Fairspin
The catalog is complete, which is good.
BUT. While all reputable online casinos set the House-Edge as low as possible, Fairspin doesn't.

KYC
Systematic and many documents are requested.

Deposits/withdrawals
Casino Guru receives many complaints about missing deposits.
Concerning withdrawals, waiting +10 days is becoming a habit at this casino.

VIP program
You receive a sort of weak Rakeback via their token (I'll come to this point shortly).
You receive 10% cashback on your losses for the week as follows: 5% RAW and 5% wager x60 (lol)
Consider that they offer you only 5% of your losses.

TFS Tokens
Their token may seem like a good idea.
But it's worthless outside the platform. They promote the possibility of SWAP on pankakeswap, I've tried it for several weeks and it wasn't possible due to the missing liquidity.

Responsible gambling
By constant numerous complaints on AskGamblers as well as CasinoGuru, it's very difficult for a player to close his account for addiction.
Since Fairspin sees the customer more as a Pinata, as Slapper said, they don't care about the player's sanity.
For them, scratching the last pennies possible is better than offering real measures for the responsible gambling.

Rewards
While other online casinos give players a lot, here apart from 5% Cashback there is nothing else.
No Daily, Weekly or Monthly Rakeback.

Original Games
For lovers of games such as Crash, mines, dice etc...
Fairspin has no original game.

If you have an advantage that other casinos don't offer, we'd love to hear it @TruePlay_Affiliates

Why play on Fairspin, when Stake, Roobet, Duelbits, Rollbits, Gamdom and more exist.
The purpose of a crypto-casino is to respect privacy, to ensure instant or very fast transactions.
Something that Fairspin doesn't offer.

Play on a casino is to accept losing money.
But all online crypto-casinos are going to offer many rewards to players (daily, weekly, monthly, rakeback is a standard now).
The rewards offered by Fairspin are very low.

If you have a problem with Fairspin, don't let them fool you!

1. Post your experience on their trustpilot page

2. Post your experience on their CasinoGuru page

3. Post your experience on their AskGamblers page

4. Submit an official complaint with their license regulator (Curucao Gaaming)
https://www.curacao-egaming.com/public-and-players/complaints-landing
Their license : Curaçao eGaming (CEG, license No. 1668/JAZ)- B2C-XKZDE8FR-1668JAZ

5. Submit an official complaint to the police of your country
Here all the details you need :

It's crazy to be so bad-tempered, just for a few dozen dollars.
The "violated" article simply states that you don't accept residents from certain countries, and Malta isn't one of them.
My residence is in Malta, so I'm allowed to play according to your TOS.

Now, with the support, you indicate that you refuse citizens of blocked countries, but in your TOS, you only block residents.

Since you seem to be sure of yourself, can you give the whole forum the article that states that citizens of restricted GEO's cannot play on Fairspin?
No article invokes this made-up rule, and worse than that, no TOS article contains the word "Citizen".

Now you tell everyone that I don't have a Maltese document.
Can you confirm that I sent you, in my complaint to MGA, a proof of Maltese residence, so a Maltese document, from a country accepted on Fairspin?
Can you confirm that I have sent support a Maltese phone bill, a Maltese tax statement and a Maltese rental contract for my residence in Malta?

They're totally not clear with their own rules, scam for only $70, don't expect a quality casino with that.
Play at Stake, Duelbits, Roobet, Rollbit or any other casino, no KYC required, instant withdrawals and great promotions.

Hello there!

We can totally understand your concerns regarding the situation, however, please keep in mind that in cases of the violation of the "Terms and Conditions" of our platform, we as a platform reserve the right to block your account at any time after the above-mentioned violation of the rules of our platform took place. At the moment we have already provided you with the reason of the actions we have taken, confirming that with the direct statements from the rules of our gaming platform to which you have agreed with upon completing the registration procedure.
As a platform, we only follow the before-mentioned points from the "Terms and Conditions".
Due to the specifics of this situation, as the matter of fact, we have proposed several ways of resolving this situation. Please pay attention to the fact that we follow the way of resolving the matter you have chosen yourself, and we respect your decision.

As of right now, there are no updates regarding the complaint you have filed. Please keep in mind that in this case, as always, we are only obligated to follow the decisions and regulations that are imposed by the relevant Licensing Authority. You will be updated on the result of their investigation, and we will follow their decision no matter what.
Until then, we will be more than happy to provide you with all the relevant information on the matter.
We are very sorry that you had such a negative experience, however, we always care about all the cases of the violation of the rules of our platform, as we treat them all in a correct way, and this one is no exception.
As such, we would be glad to clear any confusion.

Respectfully,

If you read what Fairspin answered, yes I'm not allowed to play.
But if you read their TOS, they only ban players residing in restricted countries, but not for their nationality.

Believe me, I know my stuff.
As for poker, I'm registered on GGPoker, Pokerstar and PartyPoker, all the 3 under the MGA license.
The 3 sites blocked my account when I did the KYC, but unblocked it when I sent them proof of residence.

Even for Curucao-licensed online casinos like Stake, Roobet, and many others.
The Curucao license doesn't accept French people UNLESS they live in an authorized country, and Malta is one of them.
For example, Stake blocked my account after level 2 verification, but allowed me to play after proving I was a Maltese resident.

The laws to which you are subject are not those of your nationality, but of the country in which you reside.
Note that they said I had no Maltese documents, whereas they have 4 in their possession.

Best is not to find a Maltese guy haha, best is to play somewhere else.
Even Roobet, Duelbits, Stake etc, when they block an account for that reason, they put the account in withdraw mode only and not steal the funds.

Here they don't give a cent, for a $70 dispute amount.
That perfectly shows how bad their mindset is.
Dude, that's a serious bummer! Your understanding of the system seems to be on point, and you've clearly done your due diligence. You're like the Sherlock Holmes of online gambling law, no joke! They really took you for a rollercoaster ride, didn't they? First, they're all "You can't play here," and then it's all "Oh, you're Maltese? Sure, jump in!" So much drama for a simple game of poker! And KYC should mean "Keep Your Cash," not "Kiss Your Cash goodbye!"

Their mindset seems less like 'The customer is king,' and more like 'The customer is a pinata, let's see how much cash we can beat out of them.' They've taken 'Take the money and run' too literally, haven't they? Honestly, man, if I were you, I'd bolt in the opposite direction faster than Usain Bolt on Red Bull! Maybe you should indeed consider switching platforms, somewhere they value their players and don't run you in circles like a lab rat!

Yeah I have it, as well as phone bill, contract rent, taxes documents. I sent everything but they keep inventing new rules, so hopefully, I downloaded all their TOS before they change it.
I filled a complaint about Fairspin as well as the 2 directors Eduards Kalnins and Rudsel Julius Lucas to the Maltese police, Curucao Gaming and the MGA (Malta Gaming Authority).
But yeah, Askgamblers is a good option too, thanks for the tip!

I got your point, and it is true that Curacao licensed casino allows a citizen of a restricted country to access and use the site if he/she is a resident of an eligible country. But you should have some valid documents to proof your residentship. Do you have a residency permit of Malta? There shouldn't be any issues if you have residency permit. Fairspin has frozen your deposit and winning based on their terms. You may submit a complaint on Askgamblers against Fairspin in order to get some help.

You are a french citizen which is restricted on the casino. You are not allowed to play on a casino bans your nationality even if you are on country that allowed online gambling since you are still considered as french nationality because the casino you are playing is online. They will only accept valid ID which you don’t have as Malta resident aside from your documents.

The GEO restrictions is for the residents restriction too via common sense since the law is for the people. You can always find someone in Malta to KYC for you since your IP is from Malta already to avoid this kind of problem.
