I am all but giving up on bounties to be honest. I haven't been hardly paid a single bounty over the last few months and most are turning into scams or the tokens are rendered worthless. This has caused great hardship for myself and my family and if the situation does not improve by the new year I will just give up doing bounties completely and abandon the forum for posting and just browse for news. I do not think that people will want to continue promoting projects that do not pay out our or bother to get exchanges for their tokens. Something has to change soon or many like myself will leave.

Majority of the bounty project this year is a scam, in my opinion. I have participated in many contents creating campaigns but haven't received any payment yet. I have been waiting since January 2018. The main reason I think is lack of investment for the project. Mostly bounty hunters blam campaign managers for the delay of payment but I think they are not responsible for the delay.

Yes, now find a good project is very difficult. I conducted a series of works on promotion. And I look at my wallet and it's empty. Because each of the projects begins to delay payments. It is very difficult not to have a management tool.

This is a global problem from which, to a great regret, it does not go away, because today many projects really have all the signs of a scam project, but there are still such projects that seem normal, but I think that you should always be careful all the same.

Look for the reddit pages. There were one ICO, they got 17 millions, but they used bots to bump topics. Most of bots were from Russia and it was easy to detect.

I have never heard that there is a tool that can automatically detect whether or not an ICO project is good, we must be able to analyze it ourselves, from all aspects related to the ICO.

The best way is, do your own research. Try to pick some important information about the project, the team, white paper, road map, etc. Many of them copying and pasting of other white paper and the identity of the owner/ceo. This is the best way to detect if the project is scam.

If you have some doubts right from the start of your dialogue with the representative of this ICO, then you should better avoid working with this project.

Weak projects are much more dangerous than fake ICOs, because they attract a lot of money, but teams are not able to manage them in propper way.

IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO KNOW THAT THE BOUNTY OR ICO IS SCAM .WITH THE STUDY OF WHITE PAPER WE CAN COME TO KNOW THAT TO KNOW ONLY TO SOME EXTENT NO FULLY.

There is no certain way and it is not your responsibility. It is like marketing companies that promote tobacco are not responsible for cigarretes caused cancer. Get it?

Advertiser will never share responsibility with the creator of advertisment. However, you have to find some way to obtain an insurance for such situations.

Your question is very interesting, because there is almost no difference between fake and real ico, in my opinion it would be nice if there was a team of moderators who filtered the ico,
frankly, ico scam is very troubling and detrimental to both investors and bounty hunters

Exact, we should avoid scam ico and bounty. Cause by participate on fake bounty, our time and hard work waste. I usually like to check team members, whitepaper, roadmap, social media activities to detect real ico.

I think there are a lot of people who have experienced the ico scam or unpaid bounties. this is the risk
of course good managers will have good quality, you can choose from a manager or you try to analyze the ico project directly.

I believe you should remove fake bounties from your topic, mprep has always warn that any project bounty posted here on bitcointalk may turn out to be scam not because of the bounty managers but because the project is out right scam. Although we have different bounty managers with different credibility (their trust scores can tell, you should watch that before joining any bounty), other than that, ways to know scam ico will keep unfolding day after day

For me to avoid to entertain those fake bounties and ICOs, I've always read the whitepaper and also go to there website or web page to do some research if the that bounty is a fake or not.
