Sorry for the fact that it might be painful falling victim of such situation. Life is a learning process. I think telling you to analyse a project might be too cumbersome for you, most especially as a newbie. The best thing you can do for now, is to follower good bounty mangers that are sincere and have been successful in managing bounties.
Same Problem is here. I also participate many Bounty Scheme but got scam. I got fade up from this.
It is really hard to identify if the bounty campaign is not scammed. Those scam bounty manager plan really hard to make them look legal. What we can do is thoroughly research first and do some background check before joining the campaign.
I think that these projects will appear constantly, as people want to spare money, regardless of the ways in which it will be achieved. Therefore, these projects are taking place now. You need to be more careful

Checking the background of the team and the project itself would be a guide in order to quite avoid such uncertainty. Whether a. campaign is a scam or not, it can't be already determined at the beginning of the campaign but if the team's background information is already weird, think twice. You may also consider the reputation of the bounty manager because if they are experienced, they has a high chance of avoiding scam campaigns.
To be honest the first thing i check before participating in any bounty is the rank of the bounty manger, secondly i research about the project( i take this very serious especially if the bounty manager is a Newbie or Jr member). Howbeit, highly ranked bounty managers doesn't guarantee real projects; so you have to do some research about the said project.
It's very difficult to distinguish a fake from a real ICO, especially if scammers try to make a good site and documentation ..
If you have suspicions that you are participating in a project that is a scam, you better leave it.

There are some possibilities to identify on the early stage if the ICOs are Scammers however most of the time it is hard to tell in the beginning if the ICO is scam. That's why you need to invistigate first before joining in ICO.
You can choose an excellent gift manager, you also have to be careful of the manager with the rank of newbie, jr member, member or full member. try to know about who the people behind the project. It's hard to deffin see if one ICO is good and promising.
When choosing a project, please read its white paper, pay attention to managing project team experience, product prospects and relevance. How much money has been spent on the bounty and how much money there is in the band.

Some signs that the bounty is fake is when the team behind the ICO is not popular for the crypto world, they are not known of they look like fake profile, fake linkedIn, fake experience described etc.

I would not advise you to invest in ICO because it is total fraud. I did not meet anyone who really earned it in the way.
