For me the fake bounties is a cost of doing business.  Not sure you can actually do much about it.  Just take it on the chin and keep going.  It's all worth it when you get to become part of a great project and it cost zero fiat.

Unfortunately, at this moment  a lot of company is a scam. Before joining the company, I draw attention to the company manager, their website, technical paper and the idea of their product.

Try to find out the team working for the ICO, you can find out if them mostly are anonymous random person who don't have any profile or reputation than better to stay away from that ICO. Learn to distinguish them. There are many guides, tips and sharing experiences on the Internet. So go ahead. From myself, I will add only what is hard to find, and this: view the cryptocurrency code on github, check the team for realism, as well as experience with large projects and try to calculate the amount needed for this project. If their amount is more or less (much) then you should refuse.

The company bounty is very popular, and thanks to participation in them it is possible to get tokens, but choosing which company and project is fraud, and how - no, it's really difficult. The forum already has themes that specify the items and parameters that should be considered when choosing a company

If you are a new on finding good bounties you will need to know people here in forum and when I see people be familiar on those campaign manager with a good history in terms of handling a camapaign that is a special hunt for you on knowing if a bounty or ICO is good or not. But it is not always a good thing to rely on that.

Stay away from them and to do that is very simple. Please research about the project that you are investing into whether as an investor or a bounty hunter. Also participate in bounty campaigns that are run by credible people in this forum and not just get involved in any ICO that is just in this forum because some of them are fake.

I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?
If you chosen fake bounty then there have no way to get back your reward. But it was perfect example about fake ico's bounty. Now before participate on any bounty you should check about their project to be safe from scamer.

You can decide a genuine abundance by knowing the supervisor and the group of the undertaking. As a matter of fact doing abundance is likewise a speculation since you invest cash and energy, subsequently you additionally make looks into before advancing any ICOs.

It is necessary to study the project. See the idea of the project, watch the team, watch the road map, watch the activity of the project in social networks. It is also necessary to take into account the bounty Manager.
The campaign really depends on what the project is doing. If the campaign manger is not doing a nice job then let the team know.

It's really hard to know what the genuine icos are from the scam ones. Some scam usually gets presented very well that it looks a legit one. So just join and hope that you don't get scammed.

You can see from the whitepaper and the project roadmap, whether it really looks like real or just engineering, and sees the project team.

Being a bounty hunter has its risk and this is one of them. Some projects are running bounty programs before even launching the ICO when instead they should have reserves fiat for the bounties. Lately I have only worked with high trusted bounty managers and everything seems to be ok as they are members with high trust reputation here.

Indeed as beginners we tend to be difficult to distinguish ICOs that are truly responsible and ICOs that are only deceptive. Therefore, as a beginner, we should deepen our knowledge first about the insights of crypto currencies so that we are smarter in distinguishing between ICOs who are deceptive and those who do not cheat. Other than that you can give red marks to developers and managers who handle fake bounty campaigns and spread to others so that more people are the furthest away from ICO fraud.
