I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?
we really cant be sure if the project team behind the bounty will scam the participants and investors, there are some projects that have already been trading on exchanges then suddenly they will pull a scam exit stealing the money of investors.

White paper is really helpful in choosing bounty campaigns. I've also been through bounty scams and yes you have no way on following up your stakes. Read white paper. Also choose those whose bounty manager is well-known.

It's really hard to pick up legit ICO bounty campaign this days but if I where you I am going to pick ICO which has transparency of their group and  have a good marketing strategy. I think it's the best choice.

With the growing number of crypto currencies, many new projects have sprung up, and not a few of them are scams. And the most able thing to do is to prevent it. Someone must read the Whitepaper where he wants to join. The Whitepaper almost told the ICO whether it was fake or not. Also try to report accounts that run ICO in this forum.

The answer here is to be vigilant.  It would also be good to have information about ico from independent sources, but for entry into the bounty there is a general enough view, team and whitepapper

correct me if I'm wrong - if the project has its own manager and the team does not outsource the bounty, then such a project in a certain percentage of the risk and you can immediately attribute to it a percentage of 30-40% probability that this is a scam.

Unfortunately, at this moment  a lot of company is a scam. Before joining the company, I draw attention to the company manager, their website, technical paper and the idea of their product.

This is something that has to be worked out right away. As soon as possible. Because if not, things will not become good for the whole cryptocurrencty market. It's like a cancer in crypto market. If no solution is made to remove all fraud and scams in the market, there will be no more cryptomarket in a year or less.

With this as yet there are no exact solutions that would really help me to somehow develop the situation, I think that very soon there will be tools that will contribute to the emergence of new solutions for the destruction of scam projects

I've come up with fake bounties where we receive direct message to participate into their bounty program. It won't be having any ann thread, we need to be careful while getting into these kind of bounties. It is a way to scam us, in which newbies easily gets trapped.

There are good projects too which are at their initial stages, these projects face criticism due to other scammers
and scammed projects. Best is to do a proper research talk to dev of the project and then go for investment.
Here is a project which I found promising where one can earn coins forever. Worth investing.
It's a good project and is in its initial stage. Intended to work for IOT and Nano-Tech.
Seems profitable.
They introduced PMA (Permanent Master Address), most probably they are restricting founder's profit and providing the same to miners and investors.
More Info about this crypto and project is here Doppler Website

It's always better to do a thorough research on ICO for which you want to do bounty jobs. If you don't know how to research about them then you should do bounties managed by reputed bounty managers only, that way you will see fewer scams or failed ICOs. Some of these managers are Amazix, Sylon, btcltcdigger which I know about. You can find more if you spend some time on forum.

currently it is very difficult to determine the original bounty or scam because both have similarities and for that you have to read more and do research on the bounty like reading the white paper and the team that is in the project and one more, I suggest you to choose website that has "SUCURE"

if in my opinion the way to differentiate SCAM or LEGIT web can be done in the following ways:
a. Searching digoogle
b. See forums that discuss the web
c. How long the web / site has been operating, the longer the less likely the web is SCAM
d. Bids given by SCAM and LEGIT are different, if the nominal amount of payments that are given too high do not immediately be tempted, because most likely is a SCAM. Paid LEGIT web / sites only offer low amounts.

It is necessary to conduct an independent study, because fraudulent bounty programs have certain criteria.  Unfortunately, even on reliable sites, such as bounty hive, come across a fraudulent program. No one is immune from this. So learn as much information about a particular bounty as you can before becoming a member.
Unfortunately, you're correct. No one can guarantee that an ICO isn't fraudulent. We need to study hard and make good choices. And be philosophical about the potential negative outcome.

Hmmm, Sorry for the waste of your time, this problem will seize to exist in the next two years. I believe this because a lot of anti-scam projects are being held and they will help us fight scam.

after seeing a lot of fake ico experience, I think we should be able to look at and examine every existing ico project. we can see a lot of ico concepts, the team structure is convincing. so I think when ico runs successfully and we don't make the wrong choice.
The thing is many ICOs now have wised up: they seem convincing but they are still scams. It is too hard to tell between a good project and a scam project. I only trust in HODL and coins that hit exchanges long time ago.

I think the first step in determining if a bounty is fake or not is through proper research starting from tbr bounty manager and the team in charge of rhr project. Morseo, check to be sure that the project has a reasonable use case in real life. Lastly, always pay more attention to bounties that have archived their softcap. I guess that a sign that they are serious with the implementation of the project after ICO.

You should withdraw yourself from any scam bounty as soon as possible but better not participate if you have a feeling it may be scam. Now more people become paranoid about it. I hope this would make them make better decisions.

there is no way to distinguish between scams and real, except to do a lot of research. I am sure that with a lot of experience there will be many lessons on how to determine a truly profitable bounty campaign.
