Don't think he is just s lucky guy. He invested not only into Bitcoin but into Twitter, Skype and Tesla long time ago. This points to his brilliant analitics possibilities.

What's so special in that? Search this Speculation section, you will find many predictions for $10K, some of them with exact timing too. It is not so special in case of Bitcoins and cryptocurrencies to make predictions because there isn't any parameter to do so. This market moves random and every prediction is more or less guess or inner wisdom!
Exactly. There are so many people who come out with their opinions and speculations, and I think that's great. However, it just so happened that this guy (Tim Draper) was at the front of a couple of news shows. Look into these forums and you'll find many who have predicted the 10k but the thing is, they didn't have the same public presence as this guy. Everyone can speculate, I think it's just a matter of luck.

40k Bitcoins . Omg ! This is just too much !! 40k × 10k USD just by buying Bitcoin 3 years back when the prices were very very less. Well it's kinda rare and you need alot of luck for this. 3 years back very less people knew about Bitcoin and so basically very few among them trusted Bitcoin.

simple. it's an establishment guy who stuck his head above the parapet and also put one hell of alot of skin in the game, not some random poster who probably edits every time their prediction turns out wrong.

As Bitcoin values continue to climb, the prophecy by the 'Nostradamus of the markets' is coming true.

Let's just say that Tim is really pro crypto and loves to invest on everything that he see's has potential. But like almost all of us, we always speaks on how our investment will be and make enormous prediction because we want to be that way simply because we have vested interest on it. So its only logically for him to really predict something that big for bitcoin. Its only a coincidence that he hit it on target though. But what if he is wrong with it? What are we going to say about him? He is brilliant and call him whatever, but I think this is just a mere coincidence and nothing more.
