If he won instead he won't post here, so I believe people do gamble and win and some people are unlucky...

that's right ...infact u should never ever gamble

Gambling can be the only entertainment you have where you actually have a chance at profit.  That isn't exactly the moral of the story...Moral is don't gamble with what you can't afford to lose and never make gambling a source of income.

In small amounts and amount of time spent gambling can be fun, when played responsibly

These silly threads seem to keep popping up in hopes that the someone will come and pay you for you gambling loses.

Sorry.  Hopefully it doesn't happen.  You made your bed you are the one that has to sleep in it.  You aren't going to learn anything if someone just pays your losses.

And that's why you never gamble with what you are not comfortable losing.

Yeah and while you are at it, maybe never gamble if you are not a person with big selfcontrol (most people fall in this criteria!)

A few days ago I lost 4 BTC in a single stupid bet on Just-Dice. 96% chance of winning - or 4% risk of losing, which was exactly what happened. That was my entire bitcoin balance, gone in the blink of an eye. No words can describe how horrible that felt and still feels today.

My wallet balance now sits at 0.00128 and I have no one but myself to blame.

So this marks the end of my bitcoin adventures. I still believe that bitcoin has a bright future, but there's simply no way for me to stay involved. I want to forget everything and move on.

Moral of the story: never gamble what you cannot afford to lose.
Farewell bitcoin community.

Farewell, don't gamble no matter where you at......

Seems OP is back.

You can recover your bitcoins in the marketplace, just put the gambling section in the ignore boards.

May time some time though.

Bitcoins really make it too easy for retards to lose their coins. I'd bet that they wouldn't part so fast with crispy 100$ bills :p

farewell friend... morale of the story is, dont gamble what you can't afford to lose...

It's very hard for people.

First you have to think, then act. But people do opposite.

People start with thinking when damage is already done.

Apparently he is not good at judging the risk reward benefit.

When you adjust the odd of winning at 90%+, the reward is so low that it is not worth risking 4 btc for it.

perhaps he was missing a few mBTC to buy something and adjusts the value to such

really unlucky..

but yeah, that's a lesson to quit gambling, not bitcoin

Why you say farewell to bitcoin?

Shouldn't you say farewell to gambling?

...

Ha, that's a good point.

The real question here is, If the OP was foolish enough to risk that much BTC on a dice game, how the hell did he ever get 4 BTC to begin with??

There are 2 sides to a sword.

Good luck OP, im thinking you are gunna need it right about now...
