I know this is not directly linked to faucetbox, but I hate when this happens:

Code:
1000 (50%), 1500 (30%), 2000 (20%) satoshi every 240 minutes.

500 satoshi was sent to you on FaucetBOX.com.

P.S. And anything over 1% fee is huge for the volume that you have, I was sacrificing 3% for getting your great service and don't expect to have such downtimes for that. You should be making a no fees week after every such problem as a compensation to you users.

That can be an interesting discussion. So as you can see here: https://faucetbox.com/stats, 1.4% of all deposits is what we have to pay to the network as network fees (that's an average since the beginning, we manage to get it lower and lower with time). So you expect us to pay that 0.4% from our empty pockets. And then we have to pay for the servers, not speaking about any salary for us. You know, a powerful server for 6 daemon nodes, another powerful server to manage a few dozens of gigabytes of payouts data and a powerful server for a website. With 1.4% lost to network, 1.5% is what's left to us. For now, since the beginning of FaucetBOX.com, it equals to ~14 BTC. And that must be enough for tools we use, for couple servers and for couple people constantly developing a website, responding to support tickets and keeping it all together for about 10 months now. We basically run the service without any salary on our end, so if you think that could run something like this for 1% fee then I'd honestly love to hear suggestions (no irony here, really).

Please don't delete comments about the unsynced deposits and tell us when is the expected time when we will see them in our balances.

These comments were spam, they all said the same thing. I've left one or two.
Read my post above. One more month to sync, so I guess an hour or hour and a half. But I don't guarantee that, it's hard to predict syncing.

It wasn't a planned action, it was an emergency due to unexpected failure of our server. Bitcoin is currently around block 368059, so it only has one more month to catch up. Don't whine about "big fees", as they're incredibly low.

@admin... almost 6 hours and most than 12h that started the update... you know on this bussiness such time can kill a site... I don't know why you did this without a warning, so I could deposite before...

If your faucet have sources just for 24h - you should to know the risk. Next time fill it for 48 hours or more.. problem solved!

Ps. but i know what you feel. For me happen similar thing few times.. Just next lesson. No worries, always can happen something worst Wink

I made 5 deposits, but cant see a transactions in faucetbox for 1 hour Huh

Just to keep you up to date: all our daemons except Bitcoin are now up to date with network, so deposits for currencies other than Bitcoin should be working correctly.

Bitcoin daemon is around block 323796 which means it's still October 2014, so it'll take a few more hours for Bitcoin deposits to catch up.

When is the next payment scheduled for? Just asking.

I think no sooner than tomorrow afternoon (CEST time). Our bitcoin daemon haven't synced yet, so today's batch will be skipped and we need to authorize each withdrawal batch manually. We'll meet our promised 48 hours though.

I can't give you the exact time, we don't strictly schedule payouts. Even we can't predict it exactly. And even after it starts calculating them, it's so much data that it takes 6-12 hours until it finishes.

So to be honest, asking us "when will next withdrawal be" is pointless. We don't know, except that it'll be less than 48 hours after you reach the threshold Smiley

How much does the balance stays in faucebox, i have earned from a faucet and haven't reached the threshold of 13,000 Satoshi. When will the balance disappear?

Currently: never. If you'd collected 1 satoshi on the first day of FaucetBOX.com existence, you'd still have it now. However I don't guarantee we won't change that in future, although I believe that we'll never make that less than a year.

Because i was thinking if i am not using that amount, then it should be fair to send back to the faucet owner, isn't that a good idea?
13k satoshis is a really low amount....it wont change your/faucet's owner life.

It's not for me, i got 300 satoshi today and simply i don't wonder at the moment to check every hour/day to get another reward but just in case it would be fair to send back to the owner of the faucet after a year or two for example.
