I am very happy with free coins, therefore if there are websites that provide faucets I am interested in visiting them.
Although the results of the faucets are very small and only waste our time, it still seems faucets interesting to me.
Unfortunately nowadays there are very few websites that provide faucets, because the price of Bitcoin is getting more
expensive websites that used to provide faucets must be closed.

I will say "NO" to faucet anyday you ask. You can't make 1$ per day in most of the websites. They takes all the profit. I used to do it while I was newbie in this bitcoin world back in 2017. Now, I realize how much time I have wasted their without getting anything back. So, I will suggest you to stay away from those if you know the value of your time. Good luck.

Obviously, for a person that lurking in the crypto-world for a long-time, doing faucets is not on their list. Since they already gained knowledge about some ways to earn BTC that worth their time, they realized that doing faucets is totally a waste of time.

But it's not wrong if there are crypto-newbies that want to try it just to test the waters on how to earn few satoshis since, after all, some newbies don't have a choice. Even if I say, faucets are a waste of time, there are newbie mindsets telling them they need to try it so I will just allow them to feel how doing faucets works. That's the time now they will realize if they are actually wasting their time doing faucets and that will lead them to explore other things to earn.

Hi,

I know crypto faucets have been around for a long time, but I never bothered to try any of them.

I recently noticed that some faucets still attract so much traffic, and it really got me curious whether using faucets daily is actually worth your time.

Please share your opinions about them, and your experience with them if you actually used it for some time.

Thanks in advance.
If you want to waste your time then Faucets is the best way Smiley I know so many people use faucets.Maybe they are new to crypto industry that's why they use it. Back in 2016 I tried to earn faucets but finally understand that need lot of months to earn few bucks and left. I can that faucets is 100% waste of time.

I think it's not profitable, it would consume a lot of time claiming in a faucet and in the end you wouldn't even earn a good amount of profit in it.

For me, it is just a waste of time and I think you should just stick in a real investment like investing in bitcoin or trading some altcoins in the market. It might be more profitable and recommended by all of the traders out there.

Faucets has been replaced with bounties in the form of social media campaign, signature campaigns and their likes. Anybody that knows the value of his time would abstain from engaging in them. Although the bouties reward has been reduced to peanuts die to bear market and other factors, they're still far better then wasting your time claiming what'll take you forever to claim enough that would be worth your expenses before thinking of profiting.

Asking if people still do them, obviously yes. Assuming there was no patronize, it would had gone out of existence due to lack of business. We still have those that either due to ignorance or absolute poverty would do anything that can give them hope.

I wouldn't say it is worth your time. Faucets pay dusts. You will only be collecting dust and then you won't even be able to use it since the fee is going to be much high than what you have accumulated. Or you can get some large amount of referrals and enjoy some passive earnings.
I would recommend you to spend your time doing something else rather than collected few satoshies.

Faucets have been a waste of time for a long time, however I can understand why newbies keep trying them, the idea of free bitcoin is too alluring but if they keep using faucets long enough they will realize the waste of time it is, the time when you could obtain enough bitcoin in order to justify the work is long gone, for example if you tried faucets when bitcoin was below 1k then you could have obtained a lot more bitcoin from faucets than what you get now and when you add how bitcoin has grown in value you could have considered your time invested in faucets as a long term investment, but the amount given by faucets is so low and the price of bitcoin so high already that it is not worth your time anymore.

Short answer:

Faucets are a waste of time , but if you do have all the time in the world you can try .

You will actually spend like the whole day on them and earn minimal for watching number of adds , or playing some games , or maybe doing something else that the site requires .

I do think you should understand that , faucets won't earn you much and you can very easily use other things to earn much more money online .

_*_

Still I would leave this here for your convenience:-

#1 — Cointiply
Cointiply is currently one of the leading bitcoin faucets, thanks to its huge payouts and a wide array of tasks one can take to earn satoshis.

The site has paid its members more than $450,000 since its inception. But what we believe sets it apart from most of its counterparts is its highly intuitive dashboard and friendly UX.

Cointiply also offers a wide array of tasks, including installing apps, browser games, watching videos, visiting other web pages, and more.

With every faucet spin, each member stands a chance to win up to 100,000 satoshis. Once you accumulate at least 35,000 satoshis, you can withdraw your earnings to your cryptocurrency wallet.

Okay , I tried this and trust me all I was able to do was to earn 0.02$ for using 15-30 min of my time.

Plus , it did ask for my email address which is not at all good, they will probably sell this information or send a lot of junk mails. But other than that the site is really engaging and have a lot of things that you can try .

As part of a team that runs a faucet, I can tell you that they are indeed used a lot to this day.

As for whether or not they are worthwhile depends on what your definition of worthwhile is. Some of the top claimers have received over $100 in payments when using the website legitimately but this can take a while, say a month.

Faucet abuse is rampant though, many people like to cheat faucets for free money which is often a bad idea since it wastes everyone's time.

If you have any questions from the inside I'll try to check back and answer here.

Hello to all. Yes, nowadays a lot of people use cranes. Of course, this is a very meager price, and, in part, I agree with the statement that this is a waste of time - but only in part. There is a whole system working here - there is no point in going through one or two taps, but it makes sense that it is this scanty money that you can use when paying for any transaction or cheap service. It is cheaper to collect on faucets here than to buy a small amount of cryptocurrency on the exchange - you will lose more on the exchange. There are a lot of cranes now, - in my opinion, if you use at least 20 of them, it will be much more fun. A huge plus is that when collecting from the taps, you are always in the informational cryptocurrency space - you will definitely come across something that will bring very good money. Of course, those who collect from the taps are real cryptocurrency fans. In the beginning, I also did not see any benefit in working with cranes, but now, I am absolutely convinced of the need for such petty and monotonous work.

I know some people who still use faucet but only a particular site which is freebitco.in .
I ask one of my friend why he is still using a faucet up to now and he told me that it wouldn't hurt visiting it a few times a day and he is aiming to win through it's weekly lottery draw.

Faucets is still attract people especially newbie on cryptocurrency, because you can earn some satoshi by just solve captcha or watch AD and it's FREE.
Well that's where I got my first bitcoin lol, who would have not be attracted to this ( for beginners ) I mean this is what most of the people want FREE MONEY haha I remember the days where I spend about 4 hours just to solve a captcha for a decent reward, about $5 to $8.

Honestly faucet only wasting time, 50-100 satoshi/hours isn't worth. Let's say you have claim all the faucet for 1 month, you only get 50-100*24*30 = 36000 - 72000 satoshi (worth $4 - $8). So, actually you have work full time for 1 month only get payed for $8. It's better if you find a job in real life or become freelancer, you will get more money than doing faucet.
Don't get me wrong, there was a time where faucets are giving a high reward, and I guess it also depends on the faucet that you are using and the work they they are offering, as for example they are giving less if you would just solve captcha and reentering numbers that's where they are paying less unlike when you are watching an advertisement, or liking a post. When you compare it by now, things are far worsen for faucets especially when bitcoin rose up high, they made the path narrower to get free coins  Cry  but still newbies can try if they want to.

Actually I have also tried faucet. However, I am not very patient to do it and imagine the amount obtained.
Maybe for beginners, faucets become one of the easy things to do to get BTC or other coins. However, the results are indeed very small. So it must be more patient, patient, and also try hard to collect faucet for the faucet.

..snip..
This is very striking, but this is the reality. That is why I personally will prefer to airdrops than faucets although I also do not do that airdrop. But seeing from some of my friends, they also get good payment from airdrops with top coins as a reward.

Until whenever faucets are very interested by many people, especially newbies who are still hesitant to make a deposit.
But it's very rare for faucets to circulate, even though there are faucets like in freebitcoin, but the rewards are very small
and not worth doing. Usually faucets are only to attract users to visit their website.

You own the pen
The last time I used faucets was way back 2016, in those years I only got a little amount where I managed to gather 1 dollar for a week of nonstop working every day on multiple faucets. Yes! you heard me right man, after a week of working. from clicking those and playing that, all I got was 1 buck. After that, I never tried to do that again never. Considering it was 4 years ago and I only go that little amount back then, what more today? how will you manage to get that today because no matter how hard you work with faucets, the amount they pay you is not even enough to cover your sweats.

A large percentage of users of this forum have certainly encountered faucet in their beginnings of interest in cryptocurrencies, which is quite natural. Faucets were created as an idea to promote Bitcoin, so one faucet gave as much as 5 BTC for one claim - if you don't believe it, we saved it for history -> http://web.archive.org/web/20100703032414/http://freebitcoins.appspot.com/

But from a fiat value perspective, faucets always paid little to their customers, but the values changed with the price increase - so 5 years ago it was normal for a claim to be between 1000 and 10 000 satoshi (no short links) and it was possible daily for 2-3 hours to collect a few hundred thousand satoshi or even a lot more with referrals. Although there are thousands of faucets even today, not only are the amounts they pay miserable, but the process itself is extremely difficult because most faucets have very awkward short links that can be a real nightmare.

Faucets can be profitable for owners in some cases, but the average user may benefit if he keeps what he has collected for several years - similar to what has happened in the past - the price of BTC was jump from $200 to $20 000 in 3 years.

I still use the faucet to get free coins, although the reward is reduced a lot, and I know that might not worth your time. But still, I like to play the faucet from freebitco.in, and I don't try to multiply the amount of satoshi that I got. When you play on the freebitco.in, if you can get a minimal amount to get another reward, that will be additional rewards for you to earn more satoshi. But I only use the faucet for playing in my free time, and I consider that it is not a problem for me to earn a small reward because I don't chase bigger money from the faucet, and I know that the rewards are too small.

I have stopped using these faucets since I joined this forum and started working on signature campaigns because they are more profitable and the signature campaigns cannot be compared to these faucets. I previously worked in the free bitcoin site and the withdrawal limit from the site is 30 thousand satoshi

I understand why you said it still attract more people. Well, that's because these people only knew Bitcoin has value and nothing more, no matter how small of a fraction a Btc a faucet will give, they've always though they're making a profit (base on my experience with several people in the social media.)
There is no other word a faucet could be explain in one sentence, but it's a totally "waste of time" lol.
