It's more popular because XRP has surpass it's standing, lol.
But, I don't really think it's a big deal because this things that are happening now are just temporary, in fact I am betting on ETH for short term
and with the current price, I believe it will rise again and will definitely bring great return to those who invested now.

Yeah i agree with your point, it's not that easy to spot the favorite coin so far because actually it depends on personal analysis .

Market keeps on fluctuating. Every crypto's price rise and fall regularly. But from the very beginning till now, my favourite coin has been ETHEREUM. After such a big competitor like BITCOIN, its acceptance amongst users is commendable. I know it has a great potential with which it can overtake BITCOIN. So even its lowest price do not let me dislike it.

For me my favourite coin for top 10 are still bitcoin, Ethereum & EOS. I just feel like comfortable when make investment on that coin & I believe with their roadmap for the next years. And at the low cap coin I have my favourite too like lethean coin ( blockchain based decentralized VPN ) & DERO ( privacy smart contract platform ), I'm just curious on how they will give me surprise in the next future.

My favorite for now is EOS. Many new great projects are looking at EOS's direction due to its great scalability features. I think EOS has a great future considering the fact that the team is up to the task and the tech is amazing. Note, this is just my opinion.

One of the old solid in crypto, the development continues but that does not mean it will beat the new coins.
There are a lot of new coins that has big potential, I divide my portfolio holding old coins for lower risk and buying undervalue coins which I see some potential.
