My favorite coins are eth,erd,ilc and ofcourse btc. I hold lots of coins but it is for long term use,not my fav.
everyone has their favorite coins, but I myself prefer BTC and ETH because they are the drivers of the ups and downs of the crypto market, while the other coins are only followers of these two coins.
I would not really call Bitcoin my favorite coin. It is the one I really consider most of all and have the most of,,, but saying it is my favorite is like saying I prefer being alive to being all other forms of death;)
For me, altcoins are always crypto, and not yet truly proven. Bitcoin is not just crypto but true money.
Besides BTC, ZRX will always be my favourite coin. Whenever I got stuck, it helped me to recover and the project it provides is also great. Adding the hardworking team to those and you'll get a must into your basket!

true, I have BTC and ETH for investment. while other altcoins for daily trading. I like daily trading for new altcoins in large exchanges. to make money look easier.

All my hopes are on Bitcoin and Ethereum although coins that are on the top 10 are worth investing it's these two coins so far is creating the impact in the market, and will continue to do so and even more, now that halving has just finished, these two coins are ripe for another all-time high.
try to research coins outside top 100 cmc , bitcoin and ethereum really give us less profit and high profit probability. but actually in cryptocurrency market there are alot coins which is still be sleeping giant and anytime could explode. if we have difficulties on it i have group telegram that discuss it, just on gemsinspector.

The popularity of binance makes bnb seem like a reliable coin, but the value of bnb is greatly influenced by binance users. ethereum is better than bnb.
just the same as it seems. the implementation of the value of a coin will be affected by its platform. look at the value of ETH when many successful projects do ICO with the ethereum platform. ETH prices soared, and so did BNB. now the situation is also difficult. Developers must find ways to increase their market adoption. 
so far ethereum. I am still holding it in and waiting for an increase like 2018. Fresh is impossible but I'm sure ethereum still has a chance to go up as bitcoin increases.

Bitcoin is the first ever cryptocurrency I had and actually it acquires a big portion on my portfolio because I know it will become worthy in the future. I don't have any worries about putting too much portion of bitcoin in my portfolio. So far, I have a lot of favorite coins but I always focus on the coins that will definitely bring to me a good profit just like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance coin. Right now, I can say that my new favorite coins are Zilliqa (Zil), Chromia (Chr), and Elrond (Rrd). But if I'm going to choose my favorite coins that I will hold for long term investment, I will definitely choose the Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance.

Many investors will choose to trade safely and Bitcoin, Ethereum is more than enough for you to make money in this market. I think any new investor will tend to buy these two coins first because these are the safest options for new participants. However, the price of ETH will often depend on the volatility of Bitcoin, so generally if Bitcoin declines, then all the coins in this market will decline. 
I'm monitoring ethereum because I still believe on its potential growth. Buying ethereum cheap will give you a better profit than bitcoin one bullrun strikes again anytime. Also, same as ripple but not the same level as I like ethereum since ripple only rides with the bitcoin's skyrocket unlike on the ethereum it self has a different bullrun a month (or less) after bitcoin rises.

If you say Ethereum is next to BTC, it looks like they are both like kings and queens, 
if I think it is more appropriate to say Ethereum is just below the BTC, it means that there is no other Altcoin that is able to be second at this time according to volume demand and trade volume.
Looks like everyone choose bitcoin to be number 1 favourite coin and im in. The second favourite to me is ethereum. Ethereum is a good option for investment and it did well recently. The current price of etherum is 231$ and its not bad at all.
