there will be nothing like bitcoin. you will end-up making another altcoin in the cryptomarket, it is not like you are sitting at your couch and decided to beat the btc with no innovation. If you are asking suggestions from the community then this means that you are not creative enough to make a good coin with a good project.

bitcoin will remain the leader of other coins. especially until now mastering the total volume available, there are some good altcoins, but even that is far behind in terms of volume. especially even though there are bitcoin puppies, but I don't think they can match it

dude honestly, the interesting features have all been done already, and most of them have 25 different coins doing the same thing even...
if you have technical bandwidth to lend, you should just consider adding your talent to BTC itself, as most of these features others coins have COULD be done on BTC
its just with BTC they dont 1/2 ass things like other coins, something will need to be tested as much as possible before core will add it
sadly most would rather start yet ANOTHER shitcoin, in hopes of getting rich : / yuck

I appreciate OP's initiative and dedication for making such coin that would be somehow different, if not better, from Bitcoin. OP, so far I don't have any features in mind because it might end up like those 95% alts that would turn into shitcoins. Probably get a unique name for it though. Do you have a team though? I think you could brainstorm it together, while hearing your thoughts from us about the idea you're having lately.

^ Definitely right, your upcoming project will belong to altcoins. So far no one who can defeat bitcoin and yes, there are a lot of altcoins similar names with bitcoin and one of the examples is BCH(bitcoincash coin) until now this coin did not overtake Bitcoin throne. It is easy to have the name on your project but the difficulties are how to make something helpful and useful to the ecosystem.

Why project similar to bitcoin, have you planned what kind of similarities because many developers tried to imitate bitcoin but most of them failed to so i think it would be better to have another idea which is similar but there are somethings to offer more than the features of bitcoin i guess. And if you ever want to don't relate the name bitcoin itself like others did because it might end up in a bad way of thinking.

We still don't know what he can do but it seems that you are already giving accussation like that.

Because that's pretty much like what will happen here. Bitcoin-like cryptocurrency? Why do we need that? Are you kidding me? There's already a lot of cryptocurrency to choose from, we don't really need another one. I can't even see a sliver of professionalism here, how can we trust this? This is most likely will turn into a scam or a failure. 90% of altcoins already proved that and most of them are like this, bunch of shitcoins handled by a nobody who don't even know what he wants to do.

Of course the most important concept in a new project after you find the right concept and the project that is run on what products so you can adjust the name of the new coin and I think the name of the coin is not very important, what is important is the quality of the product you are running must be good so many want to know about your new project.

we are basically almost have everything, what we are desperately to have is real adoption and legalization if we want to use cryptocurrency in our real life.
creating another coin will not make any difference. if you are going to create one, try to make a partnership with a real company before starting it and push forward the adoption.

I think you should pick a name that wasn't associated with the word "Bitcoin" to have an originality because if you would copy the name Bitcoin in your new coin people will definitely criticize you to hell especially here in the forum since the Bitcoin word only associated I think to the bitcoin fork.

You can create or pick a name that's original and I think you should be the one to create it not by picking up names from forum users it's shows the reputation of the coin itself and the originality of the creator and in regards with the features decentralized, fast, anonymous and untraceable transaction will do for me.

You can do whatever you want, but keep in mind that your project must be quality and beneficial to the cryptocurrency community. You should not create useless projects and only serve the purpose of pumping and dumping. In this market we already have so much shitcoin like that and we don't need to add new projects like that. Btw I advise you not to name it in relation to Bitcoin because it only makes your project look like plagiarism

I think it depends on the features of the currency you want to create, if it is a currency similar to bitcoin then I think the new bitcoin name is suitable for it.
I think you should point out the differences between your currency and bitcoin, then people will advise you better.

Yeah, time to attract attention by name is over years ago. I can not consider seriously at projects that want to name like btc or eth. Already most of the names are newly created, and once you have succeeded, make sure the name of the project will be on the trend. lmao. A real product and team is the main way to success.

There are already thousands of coins that are Bitcoin clone and pump and dump coins, there should be something unique on your coin, if this is just another clone I don't think you are going to get a lot of support here before you pick a name you need to tell us what your Coin will be like and what's it's purpose for the community.

Welcome to the community, so you are making an altcoin that looks like bitcoin,.. that seems to be not a good idea IMO.

I suggest you make an altcoin which has unique use case as people would be more interested on that, but since you are seeking for name suggestion, I can suggest the name "BITFAST"... it will make bitcoin faster. Grin

I don't think that you're providing enough details for people to get a feel for what it is that your going for? Why you're creating a new cryptocurrency isn't relevant so much as what it will do, and whats under the hood (code)?
What is your company focused on? What approach are your taking? Will it be proof of work? Maybe proof of stake? Is it going to be a private blockchain, or a public blockchain? Several key factors come into play when deciding a name? You could at least spare the details, thus giving us some lead way to help you pick a fitting name.
Without details about the project and it's initial approach and direction (roadmap) how are we supposed to get a feel for a good name?

if you have serious intentions, you need to make something different from the initials other than B so that your coin name is not considered negative and will always be compared. Then what network chain will you use, if you still use erc-20, then you can make coins with the initials x, d, or something that is easier to remember.
