If you can stay invested for another couple of months and wait for price recovery it will be better. Don't be depressed because depression results in bad health. Whenever the price rises and crosses your buying limit then immediately sell it. Because I think you will not be able to afford loss. So have patience wait and sell it at proper time. Just don't be sad.
You are in loss. So from my thinking you should wait for your original capital/profit.

Don't panic. I think it's only temporary. I still have bitcoin, and now the price of bitcoin has dropped a lot, but I believe that bitcoin will recover soon. What we need to do is to wait patiently. If you think bitcoin will continue to fall, you can choose to sell, and you need to make your own choices. You’d be more depressed if you decide to sell it right now. Wait until the end of the year. Go find ways other than cryptocurrency trading to recoup your loss on paper.

My personal opinion is that you have to hold them and wait. Maybe it will have to be longer, at least 5-6 months, but there is no point in selling them at a loss.
It's really hard to looking the market like that and wait, but I think you will not regret it.

This advise is as simple as it gets. If you do not need the money then do not sell. You are not losing because you haven't sold your btc yet. You only lose when you sell. Just hold and tough it out unless you really need the money.

I think you know already the outcome in investing bitcoin before you buy your 0.5BTC and I it's up to you to decide what's should be your strategy in the downfall market as you will lose your money if you sell it now or forget your 0.5 BTC for 1 year and do some other task to divert your attention about your investment. The choice is yours.
You won't loss if you won't sell, this is basic principle you have to remember when you are involved with crypto trading/investing.
We have seen similar corrections many times before too but trust me none of them remain too long, market will soon start to recover from this dips.

I agree with this to follow the principle to avoid losses. In order to not be depress while holding bitcoin, do some other things and focus on it. Do not watch the dip of the price in the market. Time will come that it will recover. Control your emotion and strongly keep to be patient. It is for the good of your investment. Try not to check the price of bitcoin for the meantime it will lessen your burdens and depression. Most of us didnt expect price would stay long of down fall value. Keeps on holding for the meantime for you not to loss of bitcoin.
Right.Do not keep on monitoring bitcoin price particularly on this dump days because it will only add to your worries.Just stay calm and relax.Or you can make an advantage by buying bitcoins with their low prices.I suggest just keep on holding your bitcoins,you will really make huge profit if you know how to be patient at all times. 
You don't need to be depress leave them in that wallet and remove your mind from it because you will make cool money from it when the price will rise again, take it for long term OK because if you sell now you will lose money, the choice is yours either to lose or hold and make more later.

it's up to you, if you want to sell your loss and what if you want to hold and save you have two options that are profitable if the price rises in the future, and can lose if you sell below the purchase price. it is your right, freely you decide. but the problem is btc is falling day by day

I think you should make the decision yourself. This is not an easy situation on the market. However, if you do not hurry up with the sale, wait until the price starts to grow again. Then you will recover the invested money. Of course, it will take some time, but you will not regret it.

It's very depressing for get rich quick noobs, because they don't get what they are looking for, and rightfully so. If you blatantly buy at near peak levels and expect it to rocket up even further, you simply don't understand this market, and the law of supply and demand. Holders aren't complaining, you know why? Because for them nothing really has changed. Technically, people holding 10BTC for example, haven't gained anything other than on-paper value throughout the years. In other words, whether your coins were worth $1000 in total some years ago, or almost $80,000 right now, there is no difference if you don't plan to spend or sell anything in the coming years. People need distance themselves from being so fiat centric. It would help them become more resistant to short term fluctuations, and only focus on that what actually matters, and that's the long term outlook.
Holding most cryptos currently is very depressing as the crypto market is struggling and harsh to all, all the prices are falling and users are panicing, but dont be an early quitter. the market will recover and alone with it the BTC prices.
One of those tests. If you fall here you lose but if you are up to the end of this day you realize that it's right that you HOLD. All of these are included in Crypto without ever losing the win.

Just ask yourself do we really need to answer this question to you? Do you think if I say yes go sell it then you will really feel good about it? I dont think you will feel right about it because then you will straight up loose 5000 USD in front of your eyes and I am sure that will spike the most in your heart !!!!
The wise decision is to hold it and if you really need the money, (whatever you getting) for emergency situation or something more important then just get the money from relatives or loan it for now as you will earn far more than the loan amount once you hit the 12000 back or even more!!
