You are a beginner yourself and not in any position to give out advice, I don’t see the reason you feel you have all the answers to beginners problems this early stage of your stay here.
Just respect him even though he has given general advice that we know, but at least trying to understand him in the forum is better than nothing, as long as what the OP's advice conveys is applied to himself.

This isn’t the right move if you ask me and you have your personal growth to worry about. All the strategies you have giving out can easily be omitted by you so do well to follow them first before giving advice.
Well maybe this isn't the right one to give advice to the seniors because they already know everything while the OP only thinks for fellow beginners who both want to help him, but what is given in the advice is only what is known now, the most important thing is don't do it plagiarism because it would be a fatal mistake.

At least for the OP you have to explore a wider forum and read everything that is needed maybe the search button is also useful for finding a topic you want to ask about.

Before the forum, I used to be a shy person. I'd rather keep shut than ask my question for the fear of sounding silly. But I took up courage and started to ask several questions about the forum and Bitcoin that I needed more clarification on. And I am glad I did because I have gotten a wide range of perspective.

Be patient while on the forum. Your rank wouldn't go from Newbie to Legendary overnight. This shouldn't be the goal because sooner than later disappointment that could lead to mild depression would kick in.Participate actively and participate sensibly. Avoid the technical discussion board if you have nothing useful to contribute. That's what I mean by participating sensibly.

You do understand that's his not his first account and this topic is nothing but a merit fishing attempt and a pretty bad one (he managed to scoop one from you though)? I mean, where did you see that a genuine newbie who just created account day ago gives other newbies advices on what to do on forum?
This was my same opinion from the first impression and have seen many such posts in the past also in this section where newbie account guiding others how to rank up and grow on forum but they all come under merit phising attempts. For me if you are having knowledge and geniune poster then you don't need to care a lot and you will automatically see progress. But yes it's one of the same attempt but will see how OP makes further growth on forum.

Amazing, coming from a newbie:oo, not all newbies are as smart as you, the majority of them landed on this forum and break the rules, its good seeing a beginner that's this fast at learning, if you want advice, here is one

Don't feel too comfortable that you know the rules yourself, your post shows that you did but focus on acquiring more knowledge on the forum, do not feel too comfortable, there is always something helpful that you dont know about yet.

Use the forum search to your advantage, before posting anything, use the search to see for an answer. You are welcome.

you are on your way to a great journey if you fully understand what needs to be done to stay here in Bitocintalk, I have seen so many newbies in the altcoin section and all they do is post their report on the bounty campaign they are participating in, this is a discussion forum, not a job-related platform, newbies should at least participate in the discussion while at the same posting their report.

Thank you for reminding me of what you wrote, and telling me things I didn't know yet.
you are still a beginner but it seems that you have learned a lot about bitcoin and crypto, to be honest what I am most reluctant and embarrassed about is asking the seniors at bitcointalk, I am afraid that my post will be considered spam and I am afraid that I will be ignored.
This forum is a user-friendly forum, you need to be confident in yourself in order to gain the adequate knowledge you require.

As the OP has stated,
3. Don't be afraid to ask questions.  Forums are places where people come to share their knowledge and experiences.  So, don't hesitate to ask about things you want to learn or don't understand.

4. Participate actively.  Get involved in the discussion and give your opinion or views on the topic being discussed.  However, make sure to respect other members and not belittle their opinions.
There is no need to be afraid of other forum users, regardless of their rank; once you have expressed yourself with maximum respect, you are good to go; additionally, questions are what we love most in this forum so that other users can interact to get you a better solution/answer to your problem; thus, feel free to ask any Bitcoin-related question you have; it will not be considered a spam post.

Everyone on the forum were once newbies at a time and once lacked any knowledge they possess now. Do not feel embarrassed to ask questions and I'm sure you will not be ignored.

A honest question would not be considered spam, you only have to take the extra effort to do a quick search to find out if your question has been answered before, then you can freely ask.

This kind of advise has always been given, just that you also never get the chance to discover the forum search engine and how it function, you could have discover many threads on this regards, am been worried that despite all this warnings upon different advise, people still fall a victim of one or two things that were against the rules, some people just believe that they cannot be guided, while sone think it's not a moderated community, but no matter how smart one is, you will still fall under the regulation of this forum moderation, either you like it or not.

Newbies need to read the rules that already exist in forums and educational topics that can improve their quality. As a newbie, of course you really want merit to rank up, I would like to add, don't beg for merit to rank up. As a newbie, of course you really want merit to rank up, I would like to add, don't beg for merit to rank up. The understanding gained from reading can be poured into a topic, if the contents of your post have benefits for other people, forum members will appreciate it with merit.
Op, your character building was fast, this is your seventh post since joining the forum. Some of your suggestions can at least help other newbies to exist in the forum.

Good points ndutndut. On the 4th point you added, it is not a necessity to actively participate in discussions except they wish to. Reading and learning does not always need one to be active in the conversation.

Did you really come to all these conclusions after only 7 activities? Your comment is supposed to come from an old member or someone who visits the forum frequently before he registers.
A newbie or rookie can give advice based on their limited experience of the forum, it may not be as comprehensive as when an older member gives the advice and it may already be available if we only search for it. It is understandable for newbies to not fully know how to use the search option as yet and make threads on already discussed topics.

It's quite outstanding that within the short period of time that you joined the forum you have been able to grasp so many knowledge from the forum and also understand some extent how the forum works, for most of us it took us more than this to be able to navigate around the forum and also note where and how to get the answer to our questions without having to create new thread for them.

I'll like to add to the list, newbies should learn how to use the search option they should learn how to search and look for answers here in the forum.
If newbies should learn how to use search option it will reduce the creation of a lot of redundant threads, no joke that the forum has been active for a long time and the probability that the answer to the question you have in mind has already been written somewhere here in this forum all you have to do to access it is to search and I think alot of newbies underestimate and look down on the search option in this forum.

Everything you describe is true. However, there is a little extra that you need to know, any plagiarism is strictly prohibited in this forum. Sometimes a theory is very easy to understand but very difficult to implement. I think that in order to thrive on the forum, it is not enough to know the rules. It's also important to apply what you know and provide concrete examples of your understanding and skills.

By applying the knowledge you have in forums, you can add value and help others better understand the topics covered. Also, by providing real examples, you can build trust and a good reputation among forum members. I hope you feel comfortable and successful in this forum. Cheers bro

1. Read the forum rules carefully and follow them.  This will help you understand the accepted norms of the forum and avoid conflicts with other members or even moderators.
To know about forum rules, you can do either Search or read sticky threads which are pinned at top of each board.

You can get them from [Bitcointalk sticky threads] Newbies - read before starting.

Starting with sticky threads is like you learning English with English - English dictionary with which you will have to force yourself to learn many related words when you search for meaning of a single word. Then your learning process will be boosted proactively.

I recently joined this forum, little by little learning about this forum I started to get interested and I got a lot of knowledge here.  As beginners, we must remind each other to feel comfortable in this forum, because each forum has different rules, culture, and discussion topics.  Here are some suggestions that can help beginners feel more comfortable in forums:

1. Read the forum rules carefully and follow them.  This will help you understand the accepted norms of the forum and avoid conflicts with other members or even moderators.

2. Get to know the topic of the forum and its sub-forums.  Try to find topics or sub-forums that interest you and that you would like to discuss or learn more about.

5. Don't be offensive.  Avoid being rude, disruptive, or take any action that violates forum rules.

6. Do not spam.  Do not make posts or information that is irrelevant or repeated in a short time.  This can annoy forum members and disrupt discussion.

7. Remain respectful of the opinions of others.  Remember that everyone has different views and perspectives, so try to understand other people's points of view and don't judge or attack them personally.

8. Do not divulge personal information.  Do not provide personal information about yourself or others, such as your home address, telephone number or credit card information.

Hope this helps fellow newbies feel comfortable and at home in the forum!
Since you're such a fantastic learner, I have no doubt that if all the newbies understood your ideas, they would gain a lot of knowledge from the forum. However, I want to make clear that I have an extra argument to make in relation to yours.

When new users join the forum, one of the first things they should do is read the rules and guidelines to avoid plagiarism.

My addition.
Dont interfere with a topic that you dont know because it will create spam, especially in technical discussions.
Besides, study it first and learn more further before joining in such a discussion.

You forgot the very important that beginners should be avoided.
Copy-pasting or plagiarising from the article without citing a source, it's a mortal sin here and there's no chance if you have proven to do this.

Overall you stated was right, apply it to your self and see it on the top, good luck OP.

Did you really come to all these conclusions after only 7 activities? Your comment is supposed to come from an old member or someone who visits the forum frequently before he registers.
There are dozens of topics in this section that provide similar recommendations, and it is enough to check the topics sticky at the top of the section to find them.
There is an important recommendation that I think you did not pay attention to, which is to use the search feature before you publish any topic, because the answer to your topic may already be there and there is no point in repeating it.
By the way, the recommendations that you mentioned are the recommendations for dealing in any forum and are not specific to this forum only.
