I have a question about blocknet, sorry if it's been discussed elsewhere. When one buys shares of blocknet with their own coin I read that it is held by the blocknet, I'm sure not indefinitely,  but it won't be instantly transferred to btc. If that is the case won't the available coins of that market be much thinner, depending on how much is traded for blocknet? In the case of fibre with an already very low supply that would mean the coins on the market would be very very small.  Just a thought. Maybe someone could clarify.

The Blocknet Foundation keeps the coins to fund development. There will be no dumping of coins. They will be paid to developers in little amounts over the duration of the project. Therefore the ITO won`t decrease the value of participating coins. It will increase actual usage of a coins and should increase its value.

Remember though , when you are buying BlockNet shares with FIBRE, that the main profit in the future will be coming from FIBRE and its services hosted by BlockNet! so don`t spend too much on it Wink

There is a lot more good info in BlockNet FAQ Wink https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9269808
Thanks for your quick reply. Even with just a 10% use of fibre to buy into block net would make a huge impact of available coins with there being only 625k available at the moment.

Just as an experiment, the Fibrecoin faucet!

https://bchain.info/FIBRE/faucet

(Once every 10 hours, no Tor, only new addresses)

Thanks dcct,

I have sent 50 Fibre! I'm sure others will follow. Can we get some information on there? Like our website, twitter etc

For those of you that dont know dcct. He has developed some amazing tools for Proof Of Capacity mining. He has skills! I have tried to sign him up but hes too busy with his own projects. I hope one day hes working on a Fibre project.

Killa

May i ask a random question... why use a 4x4 locking pattern instead of an option to choose 4x4, 6x6 or 8x8 for example

Hey starblocks

Thats not random..

Are you saying to have 4x4, 6x6 and 8x8 as a selectable option? or why did we choose the 4x4 button system?

In a manner of speaking I was merely speculating on the possibilities of giving people options

Ie. 4x4 is default, whereby further is more sophisticated
