Well i would say that the match today was completely open and very close. A draw and extra time or a win of England after 90 minutes would have just been as possible and fair as the victory of france. After England scored the equalizer in the second half they definitely were the better team and way closer to scoring their second goal then France, but somehow the french team managed to score again after a corner kick. Also i have to say i am a little bit surprised about how little Mbappe is doing in the defense. I mean i did not expect much from him, but he really does absolutely nothing to help his team defend. Even Messi is doing more here. I think Mbappe should change his way of playing and do a little more for his team. To be so arrogant already at his young age is not a good sign.

With the Underdog's performance which is beyond everyone's expectations, I think anything is still possible and it would be even more interesting if France or Argentina lost in the Semi-finals, leaving Morocco and Croatia there Cheesy

It sounds a little forced but with the current conditions it is not impossible that something like this could happen even though in this case France and Argentina are strong candidates.

Big mistake indeed in underestimating Morocco now after everything that happened in the previous few games.
I think it will be very difficult to believe if there are still people who underestimate Morocco now, especially with the current conditions, it can be said that they really deserve to be here.

Very bad to see Portugal eliminated at the quart finals of the world cup. With 1 nil defeats against Morocco which happens to be the only african country remaining in the tournament. All the african countries have been eliminated in the early group and knockout stages. So frustrating to see the look on Cristiano Ronaldo face when the final whistle was blown and Morocco players chanting and jubilating while the Portuguese were crying with sad faces on the pitch. Cristiano Ronaldo didn't stay on the field for long as he exits the pitch with immediate effect with tear rolling down his cheeks.

I highly doubt that France would have hard time against Morocco to be fair. I understand that they shocked the world by beating Spain and Portugal, arguably much better teams than they were. But also we should realize the difference between France and Spain and Portugal as well. Those three teams are not in the same category at all. France has been seen the favorites of this world cup even before the world cup started, now they are at the semi finals facing Morocco and then whoever wins Argentina-Croatia game, if that doesn't make them even bigger title favorite then I do not know what would.

Agree with this, the pressure is so strong and we know how much pressure it is especially when faced with conditions 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper even we have seen before how many failed to score at the penalty spot before.
France's game was good and that is one of the facts, apart from failing or not kicking, it is actually very difficult to say as something that changed the result in my opinion because regardless of anything, England have also fought as hard as they could.

I see your point but I think it is hard to call it a perfect achievement. They were not incredibly dominant or super successful. Don't get me wrong, I see their chances very very high but they can't be called perfect in my opinion. England played better but France won. The thing is, this france team doesn't need to play well; There are so many talented players that even a few minutes of flashing can be enough. It was like that in Russia in 2018, and it started to look like that tournament in 2022 Qatar. I think France will win. Theo Hernandez almost added color to the match with his unnecessary penalty and almost made them watch overtime, but it didn't happen when Kane put the ball in the air.

We have some good number of upsets but still we have three teams in semifinal those were in line with France, Argentina and Croatia were already in good shape just Morocco done amazing job and below up three big teams out of the competition with first Belgium and then Spain and now Portugal which is surely amazing stuff from this African safari side now with the current situation and form most chances we have two teams for the final but still any result can happen because both Croatia and Morocco are also capable of having their seats into last two Croatia is already last events finalist and Argentina here for the legacy of their legendary player Messi but for me most chances European dominance will be on, and they will keep this cup as well.
