We have watched the match between Morocco vs Portugal. One goal for Morocco became the capital for them to advance to the semi-finals. Portugal controlled the field up to 70%, but they were unable to score. Precisely more opportunities obtained by Morocco. The counterattack carried out by the Moroccan players endangered Diogo Costa's goal. But unfortunately they were not able to take advantage of the opportunity properly.
Congratulations to Morocco. We miss you, and hopefully the Walid Reragui team will play all the way to the final round. Because this will be a new history for the world cup.

We will soon witness the match between England vs France. This is the most exciting match, because the two teams have equal abilities. I hope this match will be won by france.

Broken 💔 Dream's for Cristiano Ronaldo and all of Portugal National Team. I feel gutted seeing the side and my favorites knocked out of the FIFA World Cup. Morocco defended like never before, blames are on the coach for dropping Ronaldo on the bench.

A win for Morocco is a win for all but I'm a bit sad seeing Cristiano Ronaldo going off the FIFA World Cup competition so early.
Good luck to Morocco in the future, I didn't give them the support the deserve but they surprised me totally by beating, Belgium, holding Croatia down, knocking Span outta the Competition and now my favorite Portugal. Good Luck to my Morroccan Brothers.

ohhh What are you looking at dude like really that was quite serious anways goalkeeping by Argentina i think i am much impressed after Saudi Arabia's keeper. A very intense match it was but Goalkeeper made it. What i liked over there it was the assistance by Messi, In my one of posts, i did mention that Teamwork is lacking in Argentina and they are here on players' individual brilliance. A very turning journey but there still in.

I don't really think that it would have made a big difference if Cristiano Ronaldo would have played in the starting eleven today. I mean people just have to acknowledge that Morocco has the strongest defense in this world cup so far and i doubt that Portugal would have created a more good chances to score if Ronaldo would have started. Also he came into the game right after the half time so he had like 40 minutes to have an impact and to score but he did not really have a good scene if i remember correctly.
I would say that overall the win of Morocco was not that undeserved. Of course Portugal had a higher ball possession but in the end that does not matter.

I think you just bite yourself, with Morocco having the best defense in tournament and all you can do was bench your nations highest goal scorer and arguably the best goal poacher in world football. If you observe the minute Ronaldo came in there were more crosses that were causing the Morocco defence some issues coming up. In other ways I wouldn't blame Fernando Santos in not bench a player that just came of from an hattrick. He could have just find a way to incorporate both Ronaldo and Ramos into the game.

I am not taking anything off the Moroccans, they were great defensively today. I hope they go on and win it

History was just watching as this Morocco vs Portugal match took place.  Because people never imagined that it would happen because an ordinary team like Morocco would beat Portugal and secure the semi-finals.  Such imagination viewers could never imagine.  But CR7 was a little disappointed as he walked off the field alone after the match and this was his last World Cup trophy 🏆.

It is a very happy moment for Morocco but a sad moment for Portugal. Especially Cristiano Ronaldo who played as the last World Cup of his life but his dream was completely shattered in this match today. The most emotional thing in this match is Cristiano Ronaldo leaving the field in tears. From the first stage, Portugal performed very well in all the matches. But in today's match, they are attacking a lot but can not bring any success. For which Portugal lost today's match and Ronaldo's dream was broken.

Ronaldo can be seen shedding some tears as he leaves the field into the dressing room. Who would have thought that Morocco, the only African country to still remain in the tournament just beat Portugal by a goal and thereby sending them home and out of the tournament. The dreams of Ronaldo lifting the World Cup has now be eliminated by the Moroccans. I think it was a great game and in my opinion, the Portuguese underestimated the Moroccans and got beaten. I almost felt pity for Portugal as their players took the loss badly. In all, it was a great game. Just not the results I was expecting but that’s football for you.

Football is just something wonderful the way the unexpected things just keep happening you can never predict an actual winner in a match until the match is played after the 90mins mark. This world cup has continued not to dissapoint and have brought great memories to the fans as well as the teams playing the football.

Who would have thought that at the beginning of the world cup that Morocco is going to beat Belgium, spain and now Portugal is just something miraculous, after the wonderful and brilliant win portugal had over Switzerland nobody gave the African nation a chance of survival against Ronaldo and his men.

Its normal for Ronaldo to shed tears because this is his last performance at the world cup stage and his team was used to set a world cup history.

Kudos to Africa and Morocco hope they can continue this all the way to the final

Everything has its expiration date. I think Ronaldo's date has come. He's old now, man. I know, I know, one man can't change the whole game or carry the whole team. But back in the days, CR7 was capable of somewhat doing that. His presence alone had a great impact in the overall match.
But today it was different. His presence was not felt and that one goal from morocco put them in a great pressure. That dream ends here, even it is hard to accept.
We may see Morocco vs Argentina in the final.
It's one more dream from a GOAT. Hope he can make this dream come true.

I was hoping to see this, but that is not happening now.

Morocco gave an incredible game.  A remarkable moment to say the least, a relentless attack saw off Portugal to reach the semi-finals as the third team.  This is the first time in history that an African team has advanced from the quarter-finals to the semi-finals of the World Cup.  Endless greetings and welcome from millions of football fans as Morocco beat Portugal to reach the semi-finals.
This is a great surprise and a new history of the African continent team reaching the semifinals happy to welcome their victory over Portugal who couldn't do much even though Morocco's game was depressed, but it was able to handle it well even I saw Morocco had so many good opportunities it's just the finish not good enough with a single goal to be unforgettable history for Morocco.

Morocco has done the impossible.  And they beat teams like Portugal to reach the semi-finals, a record first among African countries . So maybe Elon Musk was congratulating them or maybe he was a Moroccan supporter . In this year's World Cup, many surprising events are constantly happening . Anyway congratulations to Morocco and best wishes to them
And it has been proven once again that nothing is impossible in a football match, even though it brings together two teams that are above the level of one team being superior to the other. Morocco showed that they should not be underestimated by any country by advancing to the semifinals. Starting from their successful journey to become the top of Group F standings, then they beat Spain in a penalty shootout, and today we see them beat Portugal who is predicted to be the favorite to advance to the final round. However, all the teams I mentioned must be willing to be taken over by Morocco. They really are amazing. Congratulations to Morocco!

Like I saw a vision, I am the only person that voted for Morocco in this poll, and it looks like it is coming to pass, Morocco on their way to the finals, semi finals have just been secured, one more team to beat now and there they go.

@Agbe
Brazil is out,
Portugal is out
I think you should update the poll with current team that have secured their semi final matches.
We have just one more match between England and France, this match will tell whether France will continue to be on this poll or they will be replaced by England, it's been an incredible world cup experience so far, hoping for more surprises.

I also predicted though I thought Morocco would win from penalty but they won it from the simple goal scored.

Thanks for reminding me to update the poll. I will like everyone to go and revote again from the poll. Since most of the major teams have been knockout from the tournament. I will still edit it after England and France match.

What a vision you had back then, before the World Cup had started. I'm sure you weren't so sure of your pick back then; you only did it because everyone else was voting for other teams to win the World Cup, and you chose Morocco since no one voted for them. So far, so good; the underdog Morocco has shown to be one of the best in the competition, defeating top teams like Spain and Portugal. There players will be sought for after the World Cup and their ranking in FIFA will also rise. I envision the Moroccans to make another history in the semifinals.

Fatal Mistake for Portugal Coach reserved Ronaldo, of course Portugal had to make a goal in this match, Portugal should have played to attack by lowering its best attackers and several star players, but the coach instead played second tier players at the tip of their spear, and there was no significant attack in half first or second, but when several of their star players were fielded, Portugal's attacks dominated tonight's match, this was just 1-0 behind Morocco, Portugal had just fielded their star players and the result knocked Portugal out.

Portugal's loss tonight isn't because of Ronaldo not starting the match. He played. Why did he not score. I like it that Portugal and proud Ronaldo has been taught a lesson of their lives.

Ronaldo's inclusion in the match at the second half was not impactful so he wouldn't have made any impact too if he had been included from the first half. At the second half, I didn't see Ronaldo doing any individual contributions like we use to know him in the past when he was still young, those solo runs are not seen and this is to say he is tiring out. I guess his shielding out tears is that he won't be in the party next time for Portugal and that he won't have the chance to showcase himself for at least a third place match if they had qualified for the semi finals. Fortunately, Morocco has taken the shine from Portugal and as the first African country to play at that stage of the world cup, congratulations to the dogged side of Morocco even though missing clear chances to score even two more goals occurring from counter attacks at the second half. Meanwhile, I think the officiating was bad against the African side, first there was a ball to hand against the Portuguese side that wasn't investigated by VAR. Again, the red card against Morocco was not fair officiating, a yellow card would have sounded the warning also. And I think the referee allowed the match to go on even when it was supposed to have ended. I saw a 3 minutes extra time given at the end of the 90 minutes but they played almost 9 minutes extra time.

This is the first time a team from a European countryAfrican continent has advanced from the quarter-finals to the semi-finals.

Morocco is an African country.

Congrats to Morocco for the win.  They looked amazing today, and in retrospect have been incredible on defense throughout the competition.  Incredible and historic job making it to the semifinals, and I'm sure they'll be a force for either England or France to deal with.  I was thinking that Croatia was the darkhorse this time around, it may be actually be Morocco.

But CR7 was a little disappointed as he walked off the field alone after the match and this was his last World Cup trophy 🏆.

I can only imagine his disappointment, and the disappointment of a whole nation.  Obviously this was his last opportunity ro bring the trophy home to Portugal, and I'm sure most of his countrymen thought this one of the best chances they've had in a long time.

As for Cristiano, I wonder if he'll play again.  I'm sure he wants to, but he certainly doesn't have to from a financial perspective.  The other, and more significant part of the question is who'll take him?

Cristiano Ronaldo will not play in the next World Cup as far as I know.  Because the biggest obstacle in his life will be his age as he is currently 37 years old but will be 41 years old in the next World Cup.  So I don't know if any 41-year-old player is still playing the World Cup.  It is said that his age will be the biggest obstacle.

I think it is high time ops include Morocco in the poll because at this moment it has become clear to all that Morocco is heading to the finals with their head high and making every attempt to walk away with the world cup prize.

No one expected Morocco to have won against Portugal slide today and if France vs England, game end well then we could be sure the cup will be coming to Africa.
I do not trust bitcointalk polls because any pool that does not give you the freedom to choose the particular team or the particular option is not a good poll. Thhere should be an option of Brazil Germany Spain others specify. This will give people the freedom to mention even the least expected team. however the poll does not play the football, it is what is happening and the surprise is that the underdogs are putting up in this world cup that is surprising to the whole world. Morocco surely has a chance to win.

Ronaldo can be seen shedding some tears as he leaves the field into the dressing room.
Its kind of heart broken, Ronaldo didn't believe they will lose to Morroco. Ronaldo didn't start the match, he was substituted in the second half and his performance was not really good, their was a opportunity which I was thinking he will be able to convert it to goal but unfortunately he couldn't score it. Today's match was really interesting, Portugal dominated the match but Morroco defense was very strong which was too difficult for Portugal to break, Portugal did everything to break Morroco defense but they couldn't.
Who would have thought that Morocco, the only African country to still remain in the tournament just beat Portugal by a goal and thereby sending them home and out of the tournament.
Africans are really happy now, they just did what any African country haven't done before, they just created record, congrat to Morroco once again and I hope to see them in the world cup final.
the Portuguese underestimated the Moroccans and got beaten.
I don't really think Portugal underestimated Morroco, they tried all their possible best to win the match but unfortunately they couldn't, they used their complete squad so I can't say they underestimated Morroco, I just think they were not just lucky today to win.
Indeed, Portugal never saw Morocco as a small team in today's match. Both teams are playing great football, competitive to say the least. You Portugal's luck didn't help you today, Portugal tried hard to equalize after conceding a goal, but Morocco's goalkeeper kept making great saves, and in the end Portugal lost. This is Cristiano Ronaldo's last World Cup and it really hurts for him.

what an extraordinary match at this time many people failed at gambling, before the match I saw the statistics of the two teams were very much superior to Portugal than Morocco but many people who chose Portugal who had to win at this time turned out to say something else in the match . It should be appreciated in terms of the Moroccan defense and one of them, namely M. Yamiq, was extraordinary at the end of the match this time it was extraordinary, congratulations to Morocco for qualifying for the top 4 of the World Cup this time and Morocco for making history in 2022.

This is the first time a team from a European country has advanced from the quarter-finals to the semi-finals. Morocco vs Portugal in this game, Morocco won the biggest record in history. Today's match has really made the audience of the ground very happy. Portugal's loss in the match effectively ended their World Cup aspirations especially as Ronaldo was ruled out of his last World Cup. It was a really sad moment for Portugal and a very happy moment for Morocco.

Well congratulations to Morocco for making history for Africa and making Africa very proud. This is the best outing for Africa in the history of world cup.

Congratulations to the Moroccan team of the African subcontinent.  Because Morocco could not come this far in the FIFA World Cup earlier, which confirmed the semi-finals by defeating Portugal today.  However, Morocco are the most likely to go down in history, but their style of play and team cohesion have impressed the crowd.  And they had a player red carded at the last moment and stayed off the field with the remaining ten players playing some time.  Morocco's hard work and luck ensured their team reached the semi-finals.
