Brazil will have an advantage over Croatia and this you can see through the odds too.

When you get odds as like 8.80, which surely shows that Croatia will be underdogs in this match and Brazil will go as the favorite in the match. For sure, there will be the pressure of a Quarterfinal and I think the team who scores first, will get an enormous advantage in the knockout match.

If you consider the team Croatia is up against, you will be less tempted to choose Croatia to win against Brazil despite the attractive odds. The possible chance of Croatia winning over Brazil is slim and it is not possible to come by.

While football can be unpredictable and surprising, none of the aforementioned scenarios are likely to occur in this instance(Croatia, and Brazil match). I believe Brazil will defeat Croatia by a score of 3 goals to 1.

Tomorrow is a big game in the World Cup. When two giants meet each other, this would be the biggest test yet for Argentina and Nederland
This is probably my favorite quarter final game
Argentina have what it takes to win against Netherlands,  in that game they are the favourites to win. They will not underestimate Netherlands knowing that in the same competition, they had underestimated a team before and it cost them three points luckily not the competition. Argentina will be going for the win from the very kick off of the game. Netherlands will be on the defensive in the game, and defending that much mean that they should be able to absorb the pressure or face the consequences.

Raheem Sterling back for England but I expect the three lions to beat France without him. Just as long as Kyle Walker can limit Mbappe.

Luis Enrique fires (or did he quit?) from the Spanish national team, he should go back to Real Madrid once Ancelotti retires (well, I think he used to coach Madrid, anyway).
Raheem Sterling coming back to the squad will be good news to some fans especially the Chelsea fans to see one of their star players. I can't quite pick a side in this game because both sides are good and are star studded it's a little difficult to predict which side will win, to me it's a 50:50 chance. Luis Enrique to Real Madrid is unlikely to happen, Real Madrid are not the Luis Enrique type anyways.

I think Croatia Team won't give a tough time to Brazil Team. Brazil Team have more chances to win. Maybe Croatia can get a chance to take advantage of quick counter-attacks. Because the Brazilian National Team is studded with stars. Also Neymar have recovered. Brazil is the strongest national team at tournement at now.

Certainly, Croatia have a chance to win against Brazil. But for that they have to play their best football. Croatia has a track record of playing at its best when it is under pressure, when it is up against a tough opponent. The team has always shown great character over the years, especially when they have been underdogs. Their World Cup campaign in 2018 is a case in point.

LOL, Switzerland losing 6:1 to Portugal is a indeed a surprise to me as well, I am participating in a world cup voting game hosted by one of this crypto exchanges, when the vote for who would win between Portugal and Switzerland came up, I intended voting for Switzerland but mistaken clicked on Portugal and that was it, vote was recorded, I was regretting the mistake but was indeed surprised when I later came online and discovered that Portugal won by a whole 6 to 1 goal, it was amazing indeed.

And speaking of Croatia verses Brazil tomorrow, I am also predicting that Brazil would win, except fate decide to give us another thing to be surprised about, 2022 World Cup has been full of surprises anyway. Grin
Portugal's win over Switzerland was actually not too surprising but it was the score that made this a surprise because I personally was quite sure Portugal would win in the last 16 phase but for the score which was indeed extraordinary this was clearly a surprise.
But on the other hand, judging from their game and the composition of the players currently there, it is quite natural that they are playing this well because their players are really good from an individual point of view because they are above average.

It's the same as when Arabs and Japanese managed to make the bettors cry and now Morocco is making it back.
The Portugal Morocco match is certain the bookies will be in Portugal but the problem is whether this will go well or does it have to come back making this a victim of the odds.
But indeed I'm pretty sure I'll be back with Portugal even though Morocco is completely unpredictable.

Well I think the same thing for this match can't be predicted because I'm worried that Morocco will play defensively which will trouble Portugal
This could have happened like when Portugal was defeated by South Korea and here Morocco is certainly better than South Korea.

There's nothing wrong with that if indeed they can't play openly and keep up with Portugal's game then defending is the solution as they played against Spain in the last 16.
This is actually a good move as long as their performance doesn't drop like when they faced Spain because we know that Portugal is also fast in terms of attack so they can't falter.

This happened because there was indeed an unfortunate incident that befell his family in England because it was reported that his house was burglarized.
But now Sterling has also tried to contact the FA so he can return to Qatar and the decision is likely to be announced tomorrow. I think this can be minimized and Sterling can still go back because it will be a big loss if England don't bring Sterling back when they face France in the top 8 later.

Yeah, but essentially if there are regulations and you can't leave the national team location, then there should be no indulgence applied to him. Doesn't he have anyone in England to go and have a look, assess the situation and give him the information? Yes, the situation is unpleasant, but it should not affect the national team. So if he is not allowed to play, it would be the right thing to do

Portugal had better go on without Ronaldo in the starting eleven.  Grin  It doesn't seem like they need him anymore.

In the end Switzerland weren't a small team against Portugal but Portugal just demolished them by a score like 6-1. Goncalo Ramos didn't find much chance in the previous matches actually. Because of that it was a really interesting choice by Fernando Santos. However Ramos proved how much correct choice it was by showing an incredible performance with a hat-trick and an assist also. Ramos is a player who has grown from Benfica's youth team and he is already a very important player for his team. He is a very productive striker there already.

I think he will be in the starting eleven again instead of Ronaldo against Morocco also. Morocco had better be prepared well because they won't have a similar experience to the Spain match obviously.  Grin
Maybe they wanted to test if they can do without Ronaldo or not Ramos was the star of the day - it was surprising to know that he is only 21

Fernando Santos must have definitely wanted to test him. Because Ronaldo's performance level wasn't satisfying enough so he wanted some change in this position. He must be very satisfied with this change now and he might even continue to play in the starting eleven even if they qualify for the finale. Ronaldo shouldn't be unhappy with this decision because he must also be aware of his inadequate performance for the team. Portugal can't take big risks by being stubborn about starting with Ronaldo from now on if they aim the title.

It is Ronaldo's last World Cup run maybe but he is still a part of this team even if he starts from the subs. He is still a very valued leader among the players undoubtedly.

This is probably my favorite quarter final game. This is the World Cup I would like to see Messi win. If Nederland plays a good game then it won’t be embarrassing for them but I am sure that Argentina would give a master class and win the game.

Will moroco be able to walk away with the cup this year even though there are other stronger coy tries in the world cup, for me I see France taking the cup this year because I can't see a future of An African country taking the cup?
Things could happen, but it looks very difficult for Morocco to pull off such a miracle. We also have to be realistic when looking at potential opponents who will be their next opponents, including Portugal. And even if they can beat Portugal they will still face other strong countries, so I think if that is to happen to them then goddess fortune has to be with them all the time.
To be honest, I can't say that France will be the champion, in fact many countries that were originally seeded are slowly dropping, something that is very likely to happen to France as well.
I personally imagine how interesting it would be if Portugal and Argentina would meet in the final.

The chances of Croatia wining Brazil is very very slim. Very slim because Brazilian squad is so rich and also experienced and are also younger than Croatia squad and as such they will have more energy to run the whole time. Injury is trying to destabilise the Brazilian team but the squad is so rich that injury cannot affect it.
I am happy that by tomorrow world cup will continue and the show will continue together with the excitement.

Morocco performance have really being nice in this world cup, I don't think anyone can predict how far they can go in this world cup, they will be playing against Portugal in quarter final, I know it will be a difficult match for the both team but I believe Portugal is having higher chances of winning.
Morroco is the only African country that's left in the world cup, we shouldn't underestimate them, Morroco might make Africans happy this year by winning the world cup, don't think because Morocco is a African country then they are not going anywhere, we also say how Morocco defeated Spain in knock out stage, nobody believe that Morocco can win Spain.

First of all, this is still a great achievement for Morocco even if they are eliminated by Portugal in this stage. Not many people were giving them a chance against Spain but they really did it. Spain can struggle really a lot with this game plan against some smaller teams. There have been many such times that Spain couldn't find the winner despite dominating the match.

However Morocco should get prepared for a much bigger problem which is Portugal. Because Portugal don't prefer to play a boring game. They just love to hunt their opponents down by fast and dangerous attacks. Ramos is in a great shape and Morocco might have a big problem on defending him. I assume Ronaldo would be in the subs again.
Morocco are in for a more serious game. The Atlas Lions did it against Spain even when no one saw it coming. If  the get eliminated by Portugal the should come home with full prestige. We saw Morocco despite lacking the possession the had more shots on target than Spain.  Morocco are doing great with their defence I hope the deploy that against Portugal.

Portugal defeat against Switzerland speaks so much on what Morocco should expect but I am still counting on Morocco to bring out their best defence. I know for sure their attack is not matchable to that of Portugal but taking the game to Penalty shoot out can give them a chance to try another luck. I wish Ronaldo starts the match so that the might have a first half draw. Ramos could be dangerous if he starts instead of Ronaldo.

Sterling would be an advantage to England if he comes back to the squad before they face France. I'll be supporting England against France and this would be my first time supporting England.

Enrique never coached Madrid. He was a former Barcelona coach not  Madrid and I don't think he'll go back to Barcelona. If he wants he would get a job soon but I believe he might just want to take a little break.

Sterling is surely a boost for The Southgate side but I doubt if he will have any game time. Southgate will like to give him time to rest. Moreover the wing position is filled up, even players like Rashford who are on form find it hard to break through into the starting line up.

Enrique to Madrid is not realistic because he is a big rival to the club. Look at his selection for the national team, he prefers Barcelona players than Madrid. I doubt Perez will hire him.

The future of Enrique will be determined later. There is a lack of coaches in top teams since they are rotating them quite rapidly these years..
For Sterling returns, it is a good thing to hire. I am not that enthusiastic about England beating France but everything could happen of course.

Spain's journey ends at the knock out stage in Qatar World Cup. ‍Spain 2010 world champions exited in the last sixteen with a tiebreaker against Morocco. After such a failure of the team, the coach Luis Enrique was sacked from his duties. Another Spaniard Luis de la Fuente became the new coach in his place. The Spanish Football Federation confirmed Enrique's resignation on their official Twitter account. The 52-year-old took the blame for the World Cup defeat on himself.
This is Morocco's second big victim team after initially in the group phase they also managed to blow Belgium.
It's hard to believe in some of the miracles that happened in the world cup this time because some of them weren't even seeded at all, including Morocco.
But now they have really turned into a great team and I really like surprises like this.
Qatar defeated Spain, one of the favorites of the World Cup, in a tiebreaker, Morocco in the last eight of the World Cup for the first time. The result of the match at the scheduled time was without goal. No result came in extra time either. In the end, Morocco win by 3-0 in the penalty shoot-out. Goalkeeper Yassin Bono became the hero of Moroccan history. The way they are going forward with consistent performances, Morocco can do any unexpected something.
Many times in sports it is not only good performance can bring  win for the match but also has to have good luck too. And in the Morocco vs Spain match, luck went to Morocco . In a few World Cups before, Spain had to leave the World Cup after facing this tie-breaker, so their coach made their players take 1000 penalty tries.  Although it was not entirely possible for the national team, they had to do this exercise in the club level practice as well. However, their players were unlucky not to score in this tiebreaker. But I don't think that unexpected things will happen all the time, in the next match I think Portugal will win.
I think the Moroccans understand that Portugal is a very strong team. Their chance is not to let Portugal's leaders play to their full potential. Morocco will draw the match to go into the penalty shoot-out. The penalty shootout is a lottery, but Portugal will pull out the lucky ticket. My bet is on Fernando Santos' team to win.

Going to be a tall order for anyone to slow down Mbappe at this point, dude is playing as strong as I've ever seen him play.

With that being said I'm all in on Morocco!  Outside of people from Portugal I think the rest of the world is rooting for Morocco as well.  It's almost a road game against them at this point.  Wonder how the crowd will be.  Excited to see that game more than probably any other game at this point.
