Ronaldo must have been very hungry to score a goal as he couldn’t net a goal. Overall, it was a fantastic play from Portugal with very good goals. With more accurate passes and a fast gameplay, they came prepared and thoroughly whipped the Swiss. The Swiss players played with little motivation in the second half as they seemed to have resigned to their fate of having lost already.
Goncalo Ramos having scored 3 goals for the match ball is obviously the man of the match. I think Portugals gameplay was fantastic and they played better than all their previous games. A hatrick is always a beautiful thing and there’s joy when one gets one. I think Pepe’s goal was a wonderful goal and he played well also. At his age of 39, he’s still kicking strong.

Gonçalo Ramos was man of the match, he was talented young player and this is his only fourth game under national team jersey but his performance from U-21 team already told us a lot about him if you follow closely. We may see a big transfer for him, Benfica know very well how to make deals like that.
Portugal looks better without Ronaldo. It's easier to defense opponents. I guess an era was over and a new one already started.

What a qualification for Marocco country! They did an amazing job today against Spain who simply couldn't perform and install their own play style and Marocco knew exactly how to defend for 90 minutes , pushing the game to extra time and then penalties. Ronaldo being brought onto the pitch would most likely have on his mind to score a goal. He hasn’t scored a goal in the knock out stage of any World Cup and I’m sure he’s hoping to score a goal in this match.

Benfica striker Gonçalo Ramos has scored 2 goals so far, Pepe 1 and a goal from Raphaël Guerreiro. This makes Portugal really safe to qualify for the next round and I am very sure Morocco will have a very difficult time holding Portugal like Spain earlier. I don't mean to doubt Ronaldo but it seems that Fernando Santos has considered Ronaldo's current stamina and ability, he doesn't always put Ronaldo to play the full game until the end of the match and in my opinion, it is a wise decision rather than forcing to play. but maybe what you said is right, Fernando Santos may be preparing Ronaldo for the match he reckons he needs Ronaldo as the pivot of the game in Portugal.

Spain's being eliminated like this was a very unexpected one for me. I have always known Spain by playing a boring game which is focused on ball possession completely. This was working out very well against smaller teams anyway of course. Hence I wasn't expecting them to have any problem against Morocco. But Morocco were just incredible there. It was like they solved their game plan completely and countered it in a great way. Because even though Spain had an insane percentage of ball possession they were still not having a comfortable time about having so many goal attempts.

I was still hopeful about penalty shootouts as Spain had more skilled players to take the penalties. But they had another shock there. They scored 0 out of 3 penalties and said goodbye to the World Cup by 3-0. I really don't understand how they can take these penalties too badly.
