USA has got more ball possession in the match but final execution will always be failed and USA can't maximize so many golden chance that already happened unlike netherlands which has lower shots on target compared with USA but the accuracy was even better caused by from 6 shots on target and netherlands was able making three goal against USA. USA has been working so hard to make goal against netherlands but the defensive strategy by netherlansd were so strong. It cna't be beaten easily by USA.

USA sort of had some chances minutes to the half time, just before the Blind goal. They had not just one but about 3 good chances to create something but they wasted it all, running in circles, kicking it go the goalkeeper and the minute we saw Netherland manage to get the ball away from there halve, the won a throw, built on that right into the box and with a crossed ball to the back, found blind who just placed it right there in the net and pushed the Netherland's advantage to two goals ahead. Weah did good today, I liked his shot 9n goal but, it just wasn't enough to go past the goalkeeper.
The Netherlands just dominated completely, I expected a closer game but apparently, their talent was just way too much more. Argentina, on the other hand, had a bit of a harder time if you ask me, they played very well and missed some chances but this was Australia, the fact that they are here is already a big deal for them, they should have dominated even further. Messi played amazingly, he is Messi after all and was expected, but nobody else played at that level. I really do not expect them to be any higher in the ranks, quarter finals will probably be easy for them but then semi finals will be very difficult I am sure.

Jet lag, acclimatization, they are coming from far further away with varied climate. Lots of good reasons, Saudi Arabia is just around the corner so its nothing to them. There is some effect in that, anyhow it helps global relations if everyone wins a match I guess. It was a very competitive match. I love every bit of it. Australia did play passionately. One of the things I noticed in the game was that their attention was focused so much on Messi that they forgot about Martinez. How do you forget that Messi can also make goal assists. Well good thing the score line was like that of the Netherlands and USA.

Undoubtedly, the favorite in this match is the Netherlands. A renowned and powerful team is the Netherlands. But there is no reason to think the USA team is weak. The USA did not lose any match in the group stage. One win and two draws. They conceded only one goal in three matches. They played very well. Also in this world cup, we are seeing relatively weaker teams defeating big teams. So it is very difficult to predict which team will win this match. The Netherlands is more likely to win. But Team USA has plenty of potentials. My prediction is that the match will be a 1-1 draw in the first 90 minutes.

Well, the truth is that I think this is one of the things that the Swiss have the most, they believe that being very close to CR7 can stop him. The truth is I don't blame them, it may work for them, but CR7 is very slippery, he is a player who can be on top of it. next to you for 2 seconds, if you turn around or get distracted, in 1 second he is 4 steps away from you, that's how this football legend moves, the one who can take it and not let it go could be Usain Bolt, but another player I really doubt it, it's a football genius, it's like trying to score Messi, the only way I see they can stop him is to be scored by 2 or 3 players, and while they do that, a Bruno can score a goal.

But on the other hand, the point is that victory is in their hands. Messi has contributed very well. Next, they will face the Netherlands who also have solidity and compactness. Their team maybe not too strong, not as strong as Argentina. However, they are able to maximize every effort at every opportunity. They are also able to play more solidly and sometimes press so that it confuses the opponent. However, I don't know what the outcome will be whether Argentina is able to excel again or not. If Argentina's luck is not really bad then I don't see the possibility of the match being a draw. Even after Australia scored a goal, Argentina's players did not give up. They did not change their match strategy. Argentina are still attacking and trying to score. They are playing very well. Martinez missed several easy opportunities. Had he not missed the chance, the goal difference would have increased.

This match was not important for Brazil. Despite losing this match, Brazil became group champions. But the defeat against Cameroon is shameful. Cameroon is one of the weaker teams in this year's World Cup. My prediction was that the match between Cameroon and Brazil would be a draw. But Brazil lost the match. Brazil's players had plenty of chances to score. But Brazil's attacking players were unable to score. It was Brazil's striker's failure to not be able to score despite the easy chances.
