England vs Senegal, I must say, I'm very doubtful that Senegal can knock england out of the tournament but I won't be surprised if they do so as england are usually unorganized at knockout stages. They'll score lots of goals at the start of a tournament but can't keep up such momentum later stages of the tournament. In other news I'm still rejoicing over the elimination of Ghana. After all the noise of a revenge all over social media, they still lost and missed another penalty.

I read the news that the head coach resigned after their knockout in the world cup but I also heard he resigned because he got a job as an assistant coach for a club side. Ghana were impressive in the world cup even though they were knocked out, I give them credit, Kudus, the Ayew brothers, Partey and the entire team did well, only if they stayed focused in the last game to Uruguay they would probably still be in the competition but they tried.
Uruguay played well, it is so unfortunate that they got eliminated from the group stages of the world cup, obviously you can tell from the disappointments on the faces of the players including Suarez who had tears in his eyes at the end of the match. I think that in this knockout round there shouldn't be so many surprises because there is no place for calculations like in the group stage. There is only one game and everyone must play their best game in every game.

Messi is really invested in this world cup. He feels this is the last thing he can do for his country. However, the Netherlands team conceded only 2 goals in 4 matches. Even so, their defense is a little weak. They need to address their defensive weaknesses if they want to beat a strong team like Argentina. Otherwise, Argentina's strong forward line-up will destroy the Netherlands team. USA played really good against Netherlands, but the European team is more experienced and managed to find the gaps in the US defense.
