In itself I can live with South Korea going through to the next round. And let's be honest, both Uruguay and South Korea don't stand a chance against Brazil in this form. Ghana had actually lost the match when they missed a penalty against Uruguay. If Andre Ayew had not missed the penalty, the match could have ended with a different result. I think the missed penalty significantly lowered the motivation of the Ghanaian football players.
I think it still would have been same with Uruguay winning the match. Uruguay really attacked well today as they found 2 goals against the african side but couldn't find the 3rd goal that would have set them off to next stage by the end of the match.

They continue to play with the same seriousness no matter what the score of the match. That's why it's not so easy to keep the score of the match against these teams. Asian teams are doing very well and now with South Korea advancing into knockout rounds we have 3 asian teams advancing from group stages. I think Portugal should have done better against that second goal by just challenging Son a bit early before he finds a player to make a pass too. Some poor decisions in defense is what helped South Korea find the winning goal. I have doubts on them advancing further though.

wow wow wow South Korea played an incredible game. They finally beat Portugal by 2-1 goal in lost time and got a chance to play in the round of 16. The game was amazing. And Portugal lost the match because of their one mistake . They left their penalty area completely empty as they had no players. And South Korea used that opportunity to beat Portugal
In fact, this doesn't mean much for Portugal, they even do several rotations there so that their players can rest.At least there were a number of underdog names that were played from the start which made this seem predictable because they would definitely do that, especially since they were already safely at the top of the standings.
