In less than 20 minutes the second round match will end and Japan is still playing a draw with Costa Rica. Costa Rica has so far managed to apply a disciplined game that makes it difficult for Japan to penetrate their defense. Japan had more chances, it's just that they couldn't convert them into a goal. If this match ends with the score being equal then Japan will lead the standings at least before Spain plays.

Germany played real good in last game but  Japan's game was out class , Spain on other game played like champions the best game played by any team so far in this World Cup  2022. So my favours are are with Spain I think they will nail this game too.

The first half of the Japan vs Costa Rica match has ended and the score is still a 0-0. It seems that the two teams still haven't found a gap from their respective opponents. seen throughout the match Japan and Costa rica took turns attacking and defending. a bit boring. I hope in the second half there will be more aggressive play.

Japan's chances of qualifying are in sight, they just have to win the match against Costa Rica. The match is an important match for Germany, as Germany will be eliminated from the group stage like in 2018 if they lose this match.  There will be no chance to play in the playoffs.

however it will still be a tough match and any surprises are still possible.
