Well said. Their the best time is over. And it not only about Lukaku who is injured and them is counting minutes when he is able to come back. The team is getting old and I do not believe they will repeat their good game from 2018. That was the best moment in my opinion, I think they would win with Croatia, just like France did.
Now they should hope Canada win with Croatia, to make situation in the group more equal.

Japan disappointed me, I really expected their victory.

This match today just proved again that nowadays the gap between the favorite teams and the underdogs are by far not as big anymore as they were 10 or even 5 years ago. Nowadays it is completely possible that a team from Marocco can beat Belgium, that Saudi Arabia beats Argentina or that Japan wins against Germany. Almost every nation has a professional organisation now for their national team. So i i think in the future it becomes harder and harder to become world cup champion, because we now have like 10 clubs that have the quality to for the title and in the future we might have even more than that.

Did you watch the match, the Japanese side were actually the better side and deserve to win the game but this is football and things don't work out the way we think. The coach wasn't wrong with his choice of players but they weren't just lucky as it seems they couldn't just pass that final ball to get the ball to someone who can put the ball at the back of the net. Costa Rica were basically defending all through the match and were relying on a counter attack to get attacking.

The result was quite surprising though but I'm happy that Costa Rica actually got a win after they surfer such disgraceful defeat against Spain that ended 7:0. Japan still has a chance of qualifying from the group. We just have to watch how the game tonight ends between Spain and Germany. The only time Japan should start panicking is if Germany was to win that game but I hardly doubt they'll even see a draw.

Belgium dominated the game when it started but the Moroccan side were able to soak up all the pressure and adjusted into playing them 20 minutes to the end of the first half which earned them a goal that was denied by VAR and ruled out as offside (that decision was not accurate to me because from the replay of the ball I didn't see any contact with the person that they ruled as was offside). The Moroccan team did so well and continued the pressure on the Belgian side in the second half, it seems like that first goal that was denied really gave them the confidence that they could actually score a goal. They have scored the first set piece goal in the competition and the two goals they scored in the second half was well deserved. Belgium need to win their last game if they must qualify.

Lol I'm so sorry for those who bet on Japan vs Costa Rica match I'm sure many like me thought it's going to be an easy win for Japan since they managed to gain against a strong team which is Germany while Costa Rica lost against Spain with a large score 7-0.
Today Costa Rica managed to get 3 points after winning against Japan which makes this World Cup more tricky to predict every match
