Too many chances can't be finished very well by Kane and Sterling which make the game looks boring between 90'. England is not played attractive as before like when they meet Iran. Many people are disappointed and not as expected when all in on England even the odds is to look very well for AS. So we don't know how the chance, but when they play like this against wales and lost, then the 2nd position is reserved for them.

Basically this version of World Cup made all teams look the same and with equivalent chances to win a game.
Ecuador today deserved to win and I hope that the injury of Valencia isn't that serious or else they will risk to lose vs Senegal next.
USA played good vs England also, they threatened them many times but they lack the last touch to score.
Iran victory vs Wales was unexpected after their humiliating defeat vs England!

World Cup matches in this year have got some different outcome. Similar things happened with the T-20 World Cup, it isn't comparable. However finally the strong teams entered the finals with the support of small teams.

Similar to that we can expect unexpected performance during the league matches, at the end predicted teams will reach the semifinals. Win from the small teams makes the competence reach high, as the expected teams are forced for a must win in the upcoming matches.

No one really expected this result from England. People never imagined that they would be such a good team and do so badly in today's match. Everyone expected that since England had beaten Iran by a huge margin, England would surely beat the USA by a huge margin.  But they drew against the United States. Many people bet on England based on this game.Today's match also proved that you should not always bet on the better team.

This world cup is so weird. The performance of the national teams during the first phase isn't matching their performances on the currently groups' stage. Teams we had as strong favorites are playing like average teams or even worse. It is the case of England, Germany, Argentina, Holland. You can analyze the teams, players, history of matches, previous gameplays and still predict a completely wrong result.

On the other hand, Brazil, Spain and maybe France seem consistent. Maybe a final between Brazil and Spain can be expected this time?

Personally, I got the impression that the England national team did not have a plan B in case plan A. On the other hand, it is difficult to say that the US national team caused so many problems that the England national team turned on its extra turns. In any case, the England national team disappointed in its second match after a good first match and it is completely unclear how the national team will behave when there is a higher-level opponent and the team will need to make much more effort and whether it will be possible to do it, because there are certain doubts about this.

England, who opened the season with half a dozen goals against Iran, were also favorites against the United States. England also tried to score after the US attack. But Harry Kane did not see the goal. As a result, the two teams left the field with a draw. In this draw, England is at the top of the 'B' group with 4 points from 2 matches. United States is in third place with 2 points from the tied match. Second placed Iran has 3 points. Wales are bottom with another point.

Nobody was expecting this result. I got absolutely smashed as I considered it a safe bet with a good takeout from England taking the stand. The odds at Stake for England to win were pretty appetizing and let's face it, judging by their initial performance, everybody was expecting the brits to win. The draw odds were even better, so congratulations to those who put their bet on the draw.

They also lost both games against Hungary in the nations league. It is a different competition, yes, but they didn't even score in both games. What makes this world cup so difficult are all those surprising results but by the same teams. First game England won it 6-2, then they can't score a single goal against USA and with all due respect, but under normal circumstances England should at least have scored a goal. You can always concede one as well, but the quality they have should almost guarantee them a goal against mediocre teams. I don't know whether they already knew that they are qualified for the final stage when Wales lost against Iran. That could be an explanation.

The world cup is getting more interesting, and games are becoming more unpredictable. England will be the favorite for most people betting to win that game unfortunately they have been disappointed. Saudia Arabia is scheduled to play against Poland, all eyes will be on them to see if they can secure qualification first before Argentina, and eyes will be on Argentina to see how they will play against Mexico.

This is what makes the match monotonous because the English just wait and don't know what they really plan to do, whether this is allowed to be a draw to make them not too tired or indeed the scheme they are implementing failed in this match.
Even though this doesn't bother them at the top, their actual chance of qualifying is certain if this match ends as expected.

Senegal players performed well today. They played very well. Senegal's attacks were on display throughout the match today. It cannot be said that Qatar played badly. Qatar has performed quite well. But Qatar's forward players are not experienced. And so they lost 3-1 despite some good attacks. With a win in this match, Senegal still have a chance to qualify to the next round.

I also expected the same in this match but indeed my expectations seemed to be too high in this match so in the end this is what dropped my bet.
On the other hand, England's performance was slightly different in this match, instead of attacking, they looked more defensive and it was the USA that had more chances, although the score did not change until the end.

If not for anything, this is the world cup and it comes with a lot of motivation. Players are ever ready to make there mark and no team just comes as fill ups or are willing to remain as under dogs. Every team wants to win or be in the tournament as long as possible and we've been seeing them fighting for it.
Korea and Saudi Arabia remains the team that has done the unexpected while, a few others have dragged there against toba draw and that too is good enough result for them.

One of the best games for today was the game of Senegal against Qatar. I really thought Qatar could manage to secure a draw from this game but, Senegal didn't give Qatar  much room to express themselves on the pitch and punished them with the very mistake they made.

The performance from both the teams were almost similar. Rather than focusing on making a goal, the teams were very strong in defending and stopping the opponent from making goals. This is the reason the match ended without a single goal.

Going through the points table it is good to see Brazil and Portugal on the top of the table, rest were all covered by the small teams. Hope this time big change could happen with the move towards play-off.

England easily won their first game against Iran.
I confess that I was also expecting a great victory in today's game against the United States, but it didn't happen!

One thing I've been observing and analyzing recently is that several countries that don't have a football tradition have managed to evolve a lot during this last decade.
It follows that with each world cup, I feel that these teams have improved and are more dangerous as time goes on.
We can analyze that several countries had a great improvement in performance.

FWC in this group phase really gave a lot of surprises. I'm sure that many gamblers lose bets because the results of the match are very surprising, and different from various calculations on paper. We know how the defeats to Argentina, Germany, and several other results were very surprising and unexpected. And maybe there will be a few more surprising matches. England's performance was not as good as expected. For some reason, their attacking lines were unable to put more pressure on the USA goal. In fact, they were only able to do 3 shots on target and all three were inaccurate. So that there is no goal that occurs on either side. Most people would have bet that England would win, but the result was again unexpected. Luckily they are still in the top 1 of the group stage.

The US defense tracked real well but they made some sloppy plays that could have bitten them.  England played lazy and lackluster like they would just eventually score.  The US midfield play dominated the England mid field side.  Honestly I think the US should be disappointed in this result they had plenty of chances.  Now they need to win against Iran to slide through in the 2 hole against what could be a matchup against a strong Dutch side.

England's performance in this match was not very good and USA was really beyond expectations in my opinion.
As for Iran, in fact they also played normally but when a red card was issued from the referee's pocket for Wales it was clear that this was a differentiator and they could maximize this well.
I think there will be some things that are not so good for Hennessey in this regard because it's safe to say the red card really affected the game.

England shouldn't have struggled this much in this game normally. They were highly favoured for the win but their performance wasn't that impressive. They let USA have a similar amount of goal attempts as well. England are still keeping their lead maybe but they still need to be better than that.

Their performance in offense against Iran was really impressive. They need to keep this level up to have a chance for the World Cup title as well.
