Qatar looks a very weak team i must say. Even with one goal denied by the umpire, the Equador team is 2-0 ahead in the game. It seems that Qatar may be the weakest team in this world cup and they are lucky to play the world cup only because they are the host nation.
I haven't seen Qatar attacking in this match, the ball possession is all with Ecuador team.

Ecuador are a better team then people think they are a fast paced team that combined with the inexperience of the Qatar team causes problems. Qatar's goalkeeper does not look good in this game already making 2 or 3 mistakes one of them leading to a penalty and the other lead to the goal that was ruled offside. Ecuador I have as qualifying from the group if they can keep their players injury free. Senegal and Netherlands are good but Senegal rely on some of their star players to much and I think Ecuador who play as a team could exploit.

The cancellation or calling off of the first Ecuadorian goal in the 3rd minute of the goal is practically a confirmation of the rumors that are going about. They have showed a clip of the offside now and it is very close. They did not show lines but his knee does look like it might have been offside but they usually show the lines that they use to measure so I am sure that this will still be a talking point after the game and the allegations will continue. Ecuador have got a penalty now and they look the better team. They are checking it on VAR....so who knows if it will be a penalty.

1st controversy of the World Cup Qatar concede in 6 minutes and the goal is ruled out by VAR without showing the review process on the television. It was ruled out for a offside but there was no offside and the commentators were confused about why it was ruled out.
