Secondly Germany is on the list to lift the World cup, I respect Germany and England when it comes to World cup games, these countries mean business but always get kicked out due to mistakes and hardluck.
Yes, you are right, in my personal opinion and comparing with the previous year, almost all countries are filled with equal players. This is a great improvement in football. Even so, there are still many countries that are superior. But it will be more interesting to see them at the same level, it will make a competition that will not be easy to predict.

Yeah, that was a last minute attempt to qualify from Chile. Apparently they were wrong.
But if they were right, it would have been Chile the one that qualified, not Italy, because they would have forfeited the points won by Ecuador, and give those to the rivals. After you do all the math, it was Chile who would have ended up in a direct qualifier spot in that group. That was the reason, not just because it was "unfair" to them. So there would have been zero chances for Italy for example, as it was even from another qualifying group.

Italy are a really interesting team now. They have a great squad full of very talented players normally but they have still been eliminated by North Macedonia. We are talking about the World Cup in the end and they aren't here. I don't know what went wrong with them but I hope they can return to the next biggest tournament stronger. If they were here now I would see them as one of the favourites to win the title for sure.

Their group is also not easy even they have few teams which are not good in quality but still these teams can create problems even they can give shocking results as we have in last world cup when South Africa beats Germany here Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea all are very good teams for giving good results.

Portugal will be sending a very experienced side to Qatar 2022. Apart from Cristiano Ronaldo, they have players such as João Moutinho, Rui Patrício, William Carvalho and Pepe, who have more than a decade of experience in international football (I will be missing Nani BTW). But the difference between Portugal and Italy is that the former is heavily dependent on Ronaldo. Italy doesn't have any such issue, and IMO they have the best team bonding for any side from the UEFA confederation. Anyway, Portugal is lucky. Italy failed to qualify, but Portugal managed to do so.

How can you trust Italy, when they are not on the list of countries participating in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.Regarding Portugal, they can do their best in the current World Cup. Judging from the players they have good players compared to previous years. Many players are mainstays in their respective teams, but to take the championship, I will not rush and have to see them first.

Portugal couldn't top their group in the UEFA qualifiers, because they were placed among one of the strongest European teams (Serbia). But their performance during the playoff matches were satisfactory. They managed to defeat Turkey by a margin of 3-1, and then defeated North Macedonia to gain qualification for Qatar 2022. I watched the highlights of both the playoff matches, and the team bonding looked exceptional for Portugal. For Qatar 2022, they will be placed alongside Uruguay and South Korea, so it is going to be tough.
