Interesting performance from both team and more particularly the Moroccan team to have been impressive so far in the world cup. Being the first African team to make it into the semi finals, gave France a fight for there win in the second half. It was a tensed moment for sure and they would have gotten that chance for a 1:1 scoreline should Abderazak Hamdallah has taken the shot when he had a chance in the France box but he resisted. I didn't expect anything short of a win for France and Kolo Muani very much sealed there fate. Hopefully, Morocco might have there chance as third runner up with Croatia and I think they just might be able to execute it right.
That Kolo Muani's substitution was really something, imagine just minutes after substituting Dembele and you scored a goal. Still a good play done by the Moroccan players, they played a lot of hearts but the former World Champions was a huge feat for them in the end, they should be proud that they've come this far and they still have that chance though to snatch that third place against Croatia.

Well they deserved it for sure. I think the early goal messed up their plan but they really did well for most part of the game. They needed to contain Mbappe's run but no one matched to him today. It would be interesting to see how Scaloni will plan to contain Mbappe in finals.

In the 4th minute of stoppage time, Morocco also had a great chance to score a goal. And that wasn't the only opportunity they missed. In the second half, there was a pretty good rhythm played by Morocco, but only enough rhythm to attack while the executor who was able to finish it was completely absent. Several opportunities were wasted in the penalty box, even passes that were easily broken often occurred. Yet they failed. After second French goal match is pretty much over in my opinion. France may become world cup champion.
This match was too much for the Morocco team and we can't expect a team who reached in the semi final in the fifa world cup for the first time, will defeat the giant France and make it through the final. Morocco should be happy what they have achieved in this world cup and they should be lucky if they win the 3rd position match Croatia. Gettinfg a 3rd position should be their target now as they will not be able to score 2 more golds in the 6 added mins of this Semi final game.

Morroco gave a brilliant fight but it is not their day. The early goal was a weakening factor to Morroco people but it did not stop them from fighting to the end. It is not easy to conceive an early goal from the World champions and still survive. Looking forward for Argentina vs France finals. You can count on it that argentina would rather play against Morocco than against France. France is somewhat disappointing in this match, but has a lot of quality. And while I'm writing that, France just made it 2-0. And that's end of story. Morocco has fought for what it is worth, but 2-0 cannot be made up for in fifteen minutes.
