Everyone knew that Argentina was the better team, but there was this lingering doubt because of what happened with Brazila nd maybe there was a chance that Croatia could do the same again, but we have seen that it wasn't the case. Its fine though, I believe that we have seen something marvelous and that is a good thing, Argentina is a great team, and Messi as we have seen time and time again is a great player, it was already known that we would see them win, we just waited for a shock and that didn't come. I am guessing France will have some easy time as well and should be alright.
I don't think a 3-0 was all about getting lucky, they played their might to be on the Finals again but I hope they won't fall short this time just like in 2014. They might not be the favorite in this World Cup but they have the chance now and they're just waiting on who will won on another bracket. More chance to practice and to study opponents that they'll up against in the Finals.
The score from the 3-0 win is certainly not something lucky except for the score of 1 goal from a penalty kick, Croatia's performance has decreased in this match and I didn't expect them not to do anything potential to score goals even in the second half they seemed to be playing in the friendly league without thinking about losing 3 goals . Brazil should have deserved to face Argentina in the semi-finals but Brazil was unlucky on penalty kicks. 
Never mind, we all have to admit that Argentina is a better team than Croatia after watching this game. Maybe some pre-match hesitation is understandable as Croatia had the luck and success to reach the semi-finals, but in the end Argentina showed their quality.
I think that the Croatian team that played against the Argentine team today had something missing in them. I do not know if they played out of fear or they came with a defeatist mindset because what I watched from the Croatian team play was beyond pathetic. Obviously the Argentine side we're better and stronger . Now they are left to compete for the third-place position in the tournament they have done so well so far and I hope they leave with something.Argentina was good at taking advantage of this condition, they defended and immediately counterattacked quickly which made the Croatian players a little troubled there and that was proven when they had to break in the penalty box.
Apart from anything congrats to Argentina now who are in the final. This could be a good farewell gift for Messi at the end of the world cup that he takes part in if he can win in the final later.

Argentina dominated goals and good chances to get shots on target. Meanwhile, Croatia controlled the match with more total shots and also high ball possession. Croatia did their best but they couldn't do anything about it, and now I hope that whoever doesn't want to see Argentina in the final will make peace with himself and his hopes.They've been a little bit debate on the penalty, if the referee should have given it. It was a controversial decision although, the referee remained precise and definite even, points to the spot and booked Livakovic with a yellow card. Personally, I didn't see how else that contact would have been avoided. Livakovic have got to defend his goal by looking as big as possible and J. Alvarez came crashing into him without any forward move from Livakovic. It would have still been fair not to have given the penalty.
I had different expectations for the outcome of the game, therefore I was genuinely shocked when Argentina defeated Croatia with three goals. Following these two teams in their various World Cup games, I believe they don't play the same style of football, and that is why thinking that the match may to draw because Croatia always play a defensive game Croatia, but today I noticed Croatia making an excessive amount of effort to attack. Since the start of this World Cup, I haven't seen Croatia play like this. but in today's match, everyone attacked in order to score, and I believe this is what led to mistakes of 3 goals down
The fact that Messi is the best player in the world is well known. I think Messi will remain Messi forever. They won't have his copy, in my opinion. Messi is quick and strong, especially with his left leg gripping. I don't used a lot of words to describe the dude. However, his hopes for lifting world cup are gradually becoming a reality. Messi has proven to the world that he is a great player, he is old and still playing very good football, he was the man of the match because he had the highest contribution in the match as a player who registered an assist and scored a penalty in the match, I hope Argentina wins the World Cup and gives Messi a break because he will have achieved his dream in football.

It was a great match and Argentina was prepared very well for this match as you said they had a plan for every single moment of this game and I can say they really got what they wanted to get and since the game started they were ready for the game against Croatia and the good point of this game was about Messi because from what I saw I can say Messi was the key for Argentina during this game and if he plays well like this he can help his team to take the world cup as Maradona did years ago.

I was not expecting Croatia to score some goals, even one goal against Argentina. But I was expecting them to stop Argentina from scoring I was looking forward for a goalless full-time draw so that they will head into penalty shootout because I know Croatia is good at defending but I was very disappointed when I saw them attacking and wanting to score Argentina even in the first half.It was quite unfortunate to for them because Argentina was able to get two goals in the first half which will make it impossible for any team to equalise in that stage of the competition.

Argentina is the only team without a weak link; they have been solid in every aspect of the game and have proven that they need the trophy more than anyone else, but we will see on Sunday. The main problem for every team right now is 35-year-old Messi, who has terrorized every defense he has faced so far. 5 goals, 4 assists, and the most chances created are all goated numbers.
I would also like to see Morocco advance to the final, but the question is whether they can exploit France's weak defense with their long passes and crossing. And will France be able to exploit Morocco's weak midfield? Both teams have flaws, and it will be interesting to see which team uses their advantage.
Not necessarily, not a rational thought because Croatia previous history of goal records was able to equal the score against Brazil and Japan so they could face a penalty match, but this match they were really unlucky and had to lose with an embarrassing score, Croatia's statistics did not dominate the goal attack to shot on target and Argentina had been in control in the match.
Indeed, maybe the first goal of the penalty kick had a little bit gave influence on the Croatia players, but I am sure that they are professional so this will not last longer influencing and they are able to focus again in the match. But here, Argentina was able to play excellently and effectively. We can see their spirit during the matching road to the final, they were excellent. I am not a fan of Argentina, but after seeing the match, I can admit that they were excellent. Moroever their striker Alvarez, is incredible in the game. Congratulations to Argentina, this team really deserves to be in the final despite the unfavorable issues following the chaos that occurred against the Netherlands. I saw Messi so happy even before the game was over, that was after Argentina led 3-0 over Croatia.

I agree that Argentina's victory was not absolute luck. The players are fighting to play something good and score goals. Argentina proved really great, they managed to get their revenge when 2018 Croatia beat them by the same score.

He will have to work harder to realize his football dream of winning the World Cup. I wouldn't say he hasn't played well to get this far in the competition, but they will almost certainly face the stronger team France in the finals. We all know France has almost everything over them and are all hoping to win the World Cup for the second time in a row. I hope Messi achieves his goals now, but it will not be easy.

I think that in this match it was quite the opposite of the matches of Croatia before. While they were pretty lucky in the match against Brazil and it was kinda undeserved that Croatia advanced into the semi final, i think that today the croatian team was very unlucky. For me they were the better team in the first 30 minutes today and the goals of Argentina came pretty much out of nowhere. Of course with 2 goals for Argentina scored withing only a few minutes it was almost already over at that point for Croatia. Even though they were the better team up to that point. After that Argentina played it very smart and in the end they deserve to be in the final.

I was actually tempted to play Argentina straight win but I lost the bet after giving Croatia a straight win. They got lucky to have won against Croatia, but I don't think they will be that lucky to win the world cup. I shouldn't show much hatred for them. both even at that good luck to Argentina and Messi.In my mind the penalty changed the course of the whole game.

In the beginning of the match I thought Croatia would score first, they seemed to be more in control of the ball.
We had possession but we didn't really have any chances. Argentina was smart, they gave us the ball and focused on the counterattacks which cost us the game.But after the penalty things started to change.
I am maybe biased since I am Croatian, but I don't really think that was a penalty. Alvarez ran into Livakovic, there was nothing he could do really. But I agree that goal shook us way more than it should have as up until then Argentina didn't create nothing really.All in all, Argentina was better (and smarter) team tonight, no question about it. You can only reach so far without a quality striker, so far us even semifinal is a success. I just hope our team can recover from this loss (Modric was extremely disappointed) and prepate for Saturday and game for the 3rd spot so we can at least repeat the success from 1998.
