I was sad, the whole world imagined that Portugal would be able to beat Morocco easily, but that didn't happen.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been wanting to win a World Cup for decades, since 2006 he has been doing his best to get this achievement, but unfortunately this was his last cup.

Unfortunately, something Cristiano Ronaldo has been doing a lot lately is sitting on the bench watching his team play.
Since this is a definitive match, why not put Ronaldo in the game from the start? I'm sure the player himself would like to do more for his country in the last cup he would participate in.
It would be much more understandable if Cristiano Ronaldo left midway through the second half, if necessary, either because of fatigue or because his team could be in a very comfortable winning situation.

But, this world cup has shown very impressive results, perhaps the divine destiny was to see Morocco qualifying, with or without Ronaldo on the field. We can't question something that didn't happen.

Now let's cheer for Morocco to defeat France and win that world title, they deserve it after reaching the semifinals defeating such great teams.

Ronaldo just didn't deliver. Simple as that. His replacement scored a hat trick.

To be honest, this world cup has shown that you can never underestimate your rival. Portugal and Spain did, and they paid a hefty price.

Out of 32 teams from 8 groups now four teams from the group B, C, D & F have entered the semifinals. Within a week the World Cup for the year gonna end and the discussion begins about the next scheduled World Cup. As many users mentioned, it is the mistake from the coach. We should also think it in the opposite way, if Ronaldo was able to score few goals and win the match. Everyone could've kept praising the coach. Rather than complaining it is the fate.

The worst error Portugal's coach made was not playing Ronaldo during the first half. How could you start the game without starting Ronaldo when you know full well how his presence will affect Morocco's defense

Ronaldo has given Portugal's national team his all. We are aware of his prior contributions to their victories. He's not at his best right now since he's receiving criticism from people all over the world.

His decision to finish his football career in this way is very tragic. The effect he had and the history he contributed to football will go on forever.

it's really a shame that harry Kane didn't finish the second penalty he made well, but that's not something I should blame him for. as far as I see England doesn't have a good coach. I know Saka is an agile winger but it would be better if he put Sterling as a starter instead of Saka

this world cup is a valuable experience for England, they must be able to put good players where they should be

Well anyways in last few Matches there were too many yellow cards i don't know why refferes offer them on discount. Its coming to end up the tournament lets see what it brings.

I believe that Brazil only has Neymar as an elite player and one of the best in the world, another example, Portugal only has Cristiano Ronaldo.
It's not that Croatia is a team with hight quality like Brazil, the crucial point is that the whole Croatian team played well, it was the whole team, they had chemistry and knew how to manage the game and made few mistakes, we can say that they did what "basics" of football, but well done.

Some players did not listen what Neymar said,  several players from Brazil were on the attack, Croatia managed to intercept the ball and performed the counterattack, most of the players from Brazil were on the attack, they were unable to return and with that error, Croatia scored, tying the game

This was a grotesque mistake of brazilian team, and Croatia took advantage of this opportunity and managed to tie the game! Totally merit of the Croatian team.

Brazil could have Neymar, Portugal Cristiano Ronaldo or Argentina could have Messi, but only Germany had a real team, in which the defense, midfield and attack worked very well and worked like a formidable team.

We all expected many things from the onset of the world cup and boy have we seen alot. The Qatar world cup has been a very surprising and special one in so many ways that we have enjoyed and am still expecting a lot of drama from the remaining games in this world cup. My only dissapointment is my goat going out in the quarter finals by the Moroccans and with all this experiences i dont think i am expecting any thing less from this world cup, we might actually see the likes of Morocco going all the way to the final and winning the trophy.

France are a good side and are the current world champions and they are also hoping to set a record by the winning the trophy back to back and with this current team they have they can actually do it but it won't easy same thing applies to the Argentina squad with messi hopping to securing the world cup to his great feat of personal achievements

France is indeed the favorite team to win the title again so there’s no doubt about this and beside they play better against England and that penalty kick was not enough to beat France. Though both team did a great job, its just that France wanted this more and now they will face the unexpected team which might put them on another risk, France should double their hard work for the semis.

I am not sure that the victory of Marocco so far is only lucky. They have been here in the semi finals and this is not only about luck like what ahppen to Saudi Arabia against Argentina. If this is like what you said, Marocco should have been lost when on the group stage. This is not just a luck, this is the strong and big efforts that they have made so far. If this is related to the match between Marocco vs France later, this is still unpredictable. France is a very strong team and they are the previous defending World Cup champion. It will be a very tough game for any club against France. Moreover, they are strong on all lineups. And they always play consistently and are very excellent in every match. There is no doubt about their performance.

It was a well deserved winning for France and like everybody know that kane would have allowed other team mate to come for the kick but he went for it. Well I wasn't even expecting England to beat France. England have not had the opportunity to lift the world cup for a longtime despite the stars they come with to the world cup, so I'm not surprised that they are out of the world cup.

That is very true, and very true for some clubs as well. We have seen teams who built amazing rosters and still lose a lot as well, because they didn't know what to do with all that superstars. Eventually if you keep them then you figure it out, like for example on early days of second los galacticos period of Real madrid where they got the pepes and ramos and ronaldo etc etc, they ended it with 3 UCL wins in a row right?

But the early days of that wasn't as good, Barcelona dominated them, from a team that they built from youth setup basically. This shows that great players all together do not go well together at all times, requires time and national teams don't have that time.

I'm really sad to see that England are out of the World Cup already now. I really believed in them to make it to the finale and I even bet on their championship at the end. It's still not coming home I'm afraid. They have a great squad full of talented players but they just can't make it. Kane's second penalty was really crucial for reviving their hopes. But it was such a bad shot going wide over the crossbar. Mbappe even laughed at it after the penalty.

It was a deserved win for France of course. They made a good effort. They didn't depend completely on Mbappe and this helped them stay solid as a team.

Croatia was a former contender especially in the last World Cup in 2018, they're not to be ignored but my take this time will be for Argentina to win and reach Final to play with the former champion France. I believe these two has the potential to grab that trophy and if Messi do win it, what a great legacy to end his career.

I'm happy about the advancement of Croatia & Morocco. In general, football is evolving and even smaller nations have a chance to beat favorites like Brazil with modern strategies and tactics. I currently see all 4 candidates as having a chance of winning the World Cup and I would like the underdogs to win.

I expect Argentina and France to reach the finals of the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Because they have enough potential to secure victory in the semi-finals. However, a France win against Morocco will be very easy to secure. On the other hand, it will be difficult for Argentina to secure a win against Croatia, as the team defeated Brazil and they have a lot of good players in their team.

Whenever they make it to the World Cup final four, Argentina has never lost and has always gone on to win the tournament. Just before they lost to Germany in the tournament's title game in 2014, they last participated in it. And I still have a bad feeling about Croatia playing Argentina since it may be Messi's last stop, just like it was for Ronaldo. Portugal never expected to lose to Morocco, and Morocco really played well after scoring one goal before switching to the defensive.

Croatia is a strong side no doubt and are really likely to win Argentina. We should remember that they did very well at the last world cup in Russia and not much has changed from the team since then. They are a compact side from the last 4 years, they beat England 2-1 at the semi finals before losing to France 4-2 at the finals. So they have a very good record and coming to this stage is not something new for them and they are going to play with that confidence. They have been consistent and are going to put all resistance against Argentina after all they sent Brazil home.
