The theory of favorites does not work very well on the World Cup stage – once again this was seen in the Argentina-Saudi Arabia match. Quality of Croatia is lower than four years ago and I wish a good World Cup for Luka Modric but honestly I really think Croatia will not be available for knock-out phases. Their younger players can not replace players in generation of Modric, Kalinic, Rakitic, Mandzukic and Perisic. This is not good for their performance in this World Cup. This Moroccan team has all it takes to win the game looking at their lineup of players the key point for winning this game is the set pieces and putting the ball in the 18 box and free kicks. After surprising lose of Argentina to Saudi Arabia I wouldn't bet anymore on Argentina to win tournament honestly. In match Argentina players looked very nervous. This will definitely affect their performance in future. They are actually lucky because Poland and Mexico got draw. I think Argentina will be able to beat Mexico. But Poland match will be tough for them. They may go home even after group stage. Gonna be very risky to bet for Argentina from now on.
They didn't looked nervous. They rather looked overconfident. Argentina probably thought that Saudi Arabia were one of the weakest teams participating in this tournament, and therefore they will be able to beat them by a big margin. And that is also one of the reasons why they fell in to the off-side trap that was set by Saudi Arabia. They were on the attack from the very beginning onwards, and that enabled the Saudis to breach through their defense and put Argentina in the backfoot. By the time Argentines realized their mistake, it was too late.
Or they will concentrate to a single match instead of whole and gonna recover quickly. Hard to be sure which one is gonna be true.
The reason for the loss of Argentina is their overconfidence and underestimation of Saudi Arabia team . They thought that would be an easy game for them as they managed to score their first goal in 1st half and after second half when Saudi scored two goals that was an alarming situation for them and than they become nervous and as a result they lost .
Now the Saudi Arabian supporters are partying after this match and they even apply today as a national holiday in their country.
On the other hand, this is also a confidence boost for Saudi Arabia now and they have to make sure that 1 more win is enough for them or maybe 2 draws can also do something good for them.
I still want to know who won in this bet because surely most of the losers in this match bet 
I just won, but I bet in a live when the odds are 4x. I am very regretful after that because I am late to put them when the odds are still on 13x. So I guess many bettors won out there because Saudi Arabia is a good performance in the last 5 matches, many bettors are calculated they will make surprised because they know Argentina is just a team who filled up the veteran player. That look funny the big team can't handle winning versus a team which not have an achievement like Saudi Arabia. Messi will be shamed and maybe still regret in his room hotels.

I also regret that because I didn't place any bets because when I wanted to bet on Argentina the odds were not attractive and at first I was quite hesitant when I wanted to bet on Saudi Arabia but it seems that I am still very weak and think too much about objectivity because Saudi Arabia is not seeded so I don't dare to try something challenging.
