Looks like a rematch of Copa America finals is about to take again tonight as Brazil and Argentina meet in this world cup qualifiers match in Rio de Janeiro the Brazilian capital city though both aren't in their best forms as both teams suffered a loss recently and are looking forward to making amends, as Brazil has already won 1 game after their loss to Colombia. but Argentina are yet to get it right after loosing to Uruguay some days ago. All eyes would be in Rio de Janeiro tonight as Brazil play host to Argentina the defending champion of the FIFA world cup, if I were to put my money on this match I think my bet would on Brazil because they seem to be the favorite to win this match.

I don’t remember exactly, but throughout history, one of this pair failed to qualify for the World Cup final once (I think Argentina, but I could be wrong). There is always a ticket for these two teams because the level of the other opponents is low and even if someone has a strong team (like sometimes Uruguay/Paraguay) there will still be enough tickets for everyone. But the game has another equally important background - it is important for Brazil to show that South America still “belongs” to them despite the achievements of Argentina in recent years.

This match between Argentina and Brazil is the most interesting game in CONMEBOL, they both are good and famous teams and both teams got good players but I think Argentina can have more chance because so far Argentina is the first team in the table and in the last five games Argentina had they won fours games.
Also after Neymar gets injured Brazil will have a problem when playing against a team like Argentina.

When I saw your post I immediately ran to see which all the teams were competing in these qualifiers and when I saw countries that were in this qualifier I couldn't stop laughing a lot, I prefer not to mention those countries, but honestly, as expected, dictatorship countries, countries that prefer to live in the shadow of religion manage to have good results in football? South Korea and Japan are the only countries in this qualification zone that have more democratic governments and that have any chance of at least going far in the world cup. the rest of these other countries that live under dictatorship are just going to be embarrassed because they don't play anything

Saudi Arabia is trying to improve their football by signing great players like Ronaldo to their league, but when it comes to Saudi Arabian national team games they have a very weak squad, but I see that their squad despite being weak, still So it is stronger in relation to the teams in their group, and since Saudi Arabia was in the last World Cup in which they managed to surprise with that victory against Argentina, I see that they will not have any difficulties in qualifying for the next World Cup. Argentina would be a difficult opponent for Brazil specially considering the form of the two teams. A draw would be something for Brazil to rejoice. But brazil still have a good enough chance to qualify straight as all of their initial matches were against better teams and they now get to compete with the lesser teams and they would further have chances to correct their scores in second leg. I believe, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia and Brazil would be the safer teams to qualify while other compete for the remaining spots.

I know that everybody still doesn't fear that Brazil could get into trouble in this qualification, but when you look at what they have achieved so far in the group, we are talking about a win rate of 40% with 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. This game against Argentina will obviously be very hard for them and Argentina doesn't want to lose it either and instead reclaim their supremacy in South America. A win against Brazil would underscore that. But then Brazil would have 3 losses already and could drop further in the table.

Another disappointing result for the Indonesia as they fail to end deadlock and ended with draw against Philippine which was at his best in this game and after having early lead they have done good job in throughout match in second half Indonesia were good, and they give their best for the having another goal, but things were not into their way for the win and Philippine defense was also good which not allowed them to go through for the full three points into this match.

I mean, the first one is just Japand and South Korea so I don't see how can it be a multiple countries right? Indonesia's match has just finished against the Philippines with a score of 1-1 and I didn't expect Indonesia to get a score of 1-1 against the Philippines.

AFC qualifiers are going on with currently we have many matches in progress China suffering defeat against South Korea at home after end of the first half we have 0–2 Son score twice for his team at Shenzhen India going to host Qatar at Bhubaneswar after having surprising win against Kuwait in Kuwait which is surely big deal for the soccer fans in India even we still have long way to go, but things like these are doing good pump for the soccer in India.

Few matches already ended with Pakistan host first time any World Cup qualifier at home against Tajikistan and lost by big margin of 1–6 Turkmenistan leading against Hong Kong, and we have big won for the North Korea as well against Myanmar many good and entertaining matches are going to play in next few hours as well.

Is fun to see how Asian qualifiers still a very amateur tournament, you can see very high results full of goals and not comparision between teams, that is no longer happening in the rest of the world asides of some very games in europe against """"" countrys""""" like San Marino Gilbraltar etc.

AFC qualifiers look interesting. I was actually disappointed with results from Group B, where North Korea went down by a margin of 0-1 against Syria. They are still in contention, but need to win most of the remaining matches now (other two teams in the group are Japan and Myanmar). BTW, India won their first match in Group A, against a strong Kuwait. It will be great news if India can qualify for the main tournament, as they haven't yet featured in the FIFA World Cup. In Group C, China also won their first match (against Thailand), while Indonesia suffered a 1-5 defeat against Iraq.

This time a total of 8.5 teams are going to qualify from the AFC. 

Few hours later Philippine vs Indonesia

Its second matches for both national teams and both of them have bad result on opening match of FIFA World Cup qualifier second round, Indonesia defeated by Iraq 5-1 and Philippine loss on the first home match against Vietnam. I don't sure with your goals predicting looks easily Indonesia team will win over 4-1 regarding that match will play unusual field as synthetic grass. Indonesian never have match play with this kinds of filed synthetic grass and need adaption well if want get three points against Philippine although on the paper is easily for three points achievement.

Indonesia's head coach Shin Tae-yong have answer public trusted after losing on the opening match and he should give first three points against Philippine if want secure his position as manager.  As Indonesia fans hope my team will get first three points and make easily for next match against Vietnam.

I think Shin Tae-yong will coach the Indonesian national team and of course he will learn from the match against Iraq and today we will see Indonesia against the Philippines and I believe Indonesia has the potential to win that match, and I think Indonesia should be able to able to keep the back line tight. so that the opponent cannot break through and I think Indonesia can win if they can take advantage of the opportunities that exist and in my opinion Indonesia will have a big chance of scoring more goals. I'm sure R. Kambuaya and his friends will play well today. but I think Shin Tae-yong must improve the mentality of Indonesian players so that Indonesia's performance will be better.

However, I am also sure that the Philippines will not want to lose, let alone playing at home and the Philippines will definitely perform well in the next match because usually at home there will be more supporters.

However, I predict that Indonesia will win with a score of 4-1.

Many people are enjoying this international world cup qualifiers competition, and many players has showed the real identity of their club that is giving their fans joy seeing their players helping the international team to be among the teams that will qualify at the end of the tournament. Every players want to show a new style for their home people to know that they have achieved something good from their clubs that will attract other players that still remain in the international team alone to find their way to other clubs by showcasing their skills, because many coaches are watching the match all over the world to know the type of players that will good for them to sign when another summer occur.

Is it something bad? And I don't think that FIFA's main intention is to maximize the revenue. If that was the case, then they can restrict the competition to the top 10-12 teams around the world and make them play against each other 10 times or so. That is not happening. They have expanded the tournament to give adequate representation to all the regions and at the same time they have decided against conducting the tournament once every 2 years. FIFA at this point is going for the optimal balance between revenue generation and growth of the game.

Yeah, at the end of the day, the main driver of decisions from FIFA will always be money maximizing.

I don't think it necessarily is a bad thing though, for example having now more substitutions and extra time will probably make games more interesting to watch, even though there will be less unique players as you can move them around more often, like in Basketball for example.

FIFA made many changes to boost the reward they are getting. Even splitting the World Cup between many nations means developing better infrastructure for football, extend its supporters and with the more games you have, the more advertising you have and more sponsors you get which in the end turn to more money for them.
I agree that basically every match in World Cup is watched by millions of people around the world and most of the time by people who aren't even the citizens of these countries. Imagine hearing Saudi Arabia are owning Argentina in football. Everyone will turn the TV to watch this humiliation! World Cup have its own charm
