This time in the 2026 world cup since we have a country like America hosting it with a much better situation and potential than Qatar I don't think we are going to see the same drama like killing workers from other countries for cheap money to work and build the stadiums.
I the other hand America is a country that hosted the world cup before and I'm sure they know how to host it better than other countries like Qatar.

Mexico also has hosted it before. And it will be the first time for Canada. Although most of the matches are actually going to be played in the US.

It will be a bit tricky to watch all the games as the time difference will change from time to time as there are multiple time zones involved. Hopefully the local times for most people are not too bad.

America and Mexico can prepare for the tournament in their own country all these years. That seems to me to be a huge advantage compared to other countries that have a hard time qualifying for this tournament. In principle, Mexico and America could also qualify themselves, but it could also go wrong. Canada may not even have qualified otherwise, but they managed to qualify at the previous World Cup by the way. It seems that America has big plans and wants to invest a lot of money in American football, which is certainly not one of the first 3 national sports.

I think that Brazil played as well as the players of Croatia allowed it with their great game.
In the first half, Brazil could not do anything against Croatia, who played a perfect game and hid the ball from the Brazilian players.
Only when in the second half did the Croatian players get tired and the concentration drop, Brazil finally showed their strength in attack, but not enough to win.
However, during the entire match, it was clear that the players of Croatia matched the players of Brazil very well, and even after the lead of Brazil, it was clear that the match was not decided.
What do you think Brazil's players should have done after taking the lead? Play only in defense, defend desperately and forget about attack? The fans would never forgive them for such a cowardly game and it would not be the real Brazil. It was logical that Brazil could not just defend and that they would try to score the second goal and solve the game, but they failed because of the quality of the Croatian team. Croatia didn't beat Brazil by chance and did not win medals at the last 2 world cups by chance. Whoever calls it luck is underestimating the quality of the Croatian team.
I think Brazil needs a good team spirit and less selfishness in the game much more than a good coach.

That is true, Brazil doesn't have a problem with the quality of their individual players, but Croatia has what Brazil is lacking and Croatia also has some perfect characters like Modric or also Perisic who don't ever stoP giving their best until the very last second. When teams play against Brazil they know that it is about breaking Brazil's mentality and that has happened quite often in recent years. Neymar isn't a leader. They also need players who want to lead when it is not going very well. That is the big difference between someone like Modric and Neymar and I am not sure Brazil has a lot of players who could fill that role.

Little discussing about my national teams journey for FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States

For the Asian zone, FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States qualification round will start October in this year, my national team Indonesia ranked 28th in the Asian zone or 149th FIFA ranked and must play in the playoffs to face national teams from the East Asian zone. For the first Playoff round has format home away and I hope before June my national team Indonesia ranked increasing up and move to second pot. For first pot have to play on playoff round before leading to group qualification but if Indonesian national team winning on few friendly match seems has chance move to second pot and not have to play on playoff round.

Good luck Indonesian national team.

We can't compare Pele, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, or other similar players with Neymar, they played for their national teams for a long time and they earn many achievements also compared to Neymar these players had much better performance and they had more stability while a player like Neymar can't have weeks of good performance and then just like this year, he can disappoint while the team.

I think the generation of golden players in Brazil is over and that's why they couldn't earn many achievements recently in the world cup.

The truth is that the likes of Brazilian Pele, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo were the best players of their football days infact Pele is still regarded as the greatest player to have ever graced the beautiful game of football.
However I'm of the opinion that they were able to achieve all they achieved with national team of Brazil because of the high quality players in Brazil as of that time. Neymar on his though have high profile teammates but they can't be compared to this golden generations of Brazilian football

Those are truly wonderful players from Brazil but how can someone like me who grew up with the best duo attacking of the Brazilian national team,Romario and Bebeto not being mentioned when the greatest players of Brazil are being mentioned.Sure these guys could not do that dribbling that Ronaldinho,Ronaldo and Pele could do but they were brilliant in creating great chances out of nowhere and scoring a lot of goals.Neymar is not anywhere near them in my opinion,as he has not achieved anything with Brazil, different from all other players mentioned here.

Maybe the reason of why we don't see these players Ronaldinho and Ronaldo anymore is mostly because the tactics are changed in the world and most teams prefer to don't rely on superstar players even players like Neymar can't be useful in the new systems most of the teams use and the true Brazilian playing style is nearly dead.

It's not just the PSG because Messi himself also wanted to have freedom away from them because of the toxicity they've showed recently when he visited Saudi Arabia, hence why he was not looking forward anymore to play with the PSG. Well, the truth is, it is the PSG who are turning the tables to look like they are the ones who freed Messi when the in-fact it was Messi who gave up on them.

What is the toxicity of PSG if Messi violated the terms of the contract with his visit to Saudi Arabia, for which, by the way, he later apologized?
If we think globally, we can say this: after a disastrous first season, PSG gave Messi another chance, but it was not used and the parties decided to disperse. If Messi was worth something, he would easily go to City, Bayern, Liverpool, etc., but for some reason he retired to MLS.

Freaky statistic in my opinion. If a player made 5 successful dribbles, but it was 5 successful attempts out of 100, then all these actions were at a loss for the team. Miracles of univariate analysis when, with the right approach, you can achieve any result you want and pass off bad indicators as good ones. I'm not saying that Messi was consistently bad, but such statistics are only annoying.
Well, we all know that Messi does not want to continue at PSG, obviously PSG has a lot of power worldwide, a lot of money, any article that they can filter in the news to justify a possible PSG departure is possible (this is also mere speculation ) now if they say it as a measure to discredit the Argentine national soccer team a bit, it is something else, it is known that in Europe it hurts a lot that France has not won, things can go in that direction, although it is not something very nice, but It is quite possible, players like Messi, CR7 make enemies out of nowhere, just for playing well, sometimes it is to cause more shock or it can be mere envy.

I don’t know what you meant (maybe you didn’t understand what I wrote), these statistics are just in favor of Messi, but I see that it is completely divorced from reality and does not mean anything. I don’t think that PSG is interested in somehow influencing the reputation of the Argentina national team or Messi - for them, his departure is a competent mutually beneficial decision. He's not worth the money they pay him.

Could be right and could be wrong, Paris Saint-Germain might save a lot of money about Messi's departure because it will be too much to ask that he will still play like he is still in his younger days as he is now getting older as the goes by but that also gives the Paris Saint-Germain a negative reputation because somehow, their power is not that good anymore, I know that they still have a lot of great players like Neymar, Hakimi and Mbappe, but with Messi's departure, that will certainly make a difference.
Yes, the problem with this is that everyone thinks that when the players reach a certain age they are no longer useful, that the youngsters can replace them, if PSG let Messi go, another team will go and buy him whatever They won't care about age, they only want crack and everything he can do, otherwise you have to ask some like Ibrahimovic who, even at 42 years old and still giving it his all, I understand that the statistics were in favor of Messi, but What I want to say is that PSG is not happy with him, they want to get out of it, that is something obvious, what happens is that the Messi case is very covered, it is not finally known what could happen with the future of the Argentine star .

Brazil coach Tite was a total failure in the quarter final match against Croatia. The changes in some of the first-row players towards the end surprised me. Then Neymar scored a great goal for Brazil in the very last minute of the game with only one and a half minutes left in the game and at that time there was no point in attacking Croatia from the defense. A minute of defense would have ensured Brazil's victory against Croatia. I think Brazilian coach Tite forgot to teach his students this lesson. Brazil needs a top level coach as every current player is top level. The World Cup has been over for a long time, but Brazil has yet to select a quality coach. Choosing a good quality coach is very important for them.
In my view, the Brazil-Croatia quarter-final exposed Tite's weak strategy. His lineup adjustments were baffling. Neymar's stunning last-minute goal didn't fix the bad plan. Proper defense could've won the game for Brazil, a tactic Tite missed. I agree that Brazil needs a top-tier coach to match its players' skills. Even after the World Cup, Brazil is still hunting for a competent coach, vital for their future triumphs.

Anyone watch the US vs Mexico game last night in the Concacaf semi.  Great game from the US side but it got ugly.  Bad blood between the 2 teams came out hopefully this is a start to something bigger.  Hope they somehow align them so it's a possibility they end up playing in the knockout stages against each other.

I couldn't watch the full game but I just saw some minutes of the game America had a good performance in this game and they scored three goals. While Mexico is not a strong team but still America had good results there and I think if this Maerica shows a good performance in the 2026 world cup we can see the world cup host having a good performance especially when they are going to play the games at home where they have more benefits.

That's not all because of Brazil's coach. Even the best coach in the world still needs some players and which is not something they have in Brazil after they lost players and legends like Ronaldo they couldn't find any other player to replace these legends even players like Neymar couldn't stable enough to achieve something for their national team in the world cup.
That's why I said the golden age for Brazil is over.

Brazil's golden age is over (because that golden generation is gone and not just Ronaldo), but I don't agree that a coach can't do anything if he doesn't have Ronaldo. Such players appear once every hundred years or less, and if you wait for such conditions, you can never achieve them. Many more modest teams have won the title through team play and not through the individual qualities of the players.

USA side dominated the match easily against Mexico but the match really took an ugly turn and so many red card that werent really needed. McKennie got his shirt ripped and i have never seen it that someones shirt was that ripped. USA is one step away from winning the title and they got Canada in the final.

But still, USA has a great chance to win or defend the CONCACAF Nations League title again. Although indeed, the 3-0 victory did have a lot of red cards but by doing so, it is at least proof that they are playing with great ambition to be able to win and to reach the final match. So there is nothing bad in this case for me personally and with that too, then USA is likely to have better quality than Canada, because USA can play with high aggressiveness and also to defend the title.

In the last World Cup we saw that the players who sat on the bench in Brazil were the most expensive players. That is, compared to the value of those who performed on the field of other teams, the value of those who sat on the bench in Brazil was much higher. The 2022 World Cup in Qatar was a tournament full of potential for Brazil but they did not do well in the tournament despite having so many expensive players. By far the most Brazilian stars are performing for various European clubs. But even with such good players, they are not able to contribute much for the team. Maybe because of playing very few matches for the national team, these stars are not able to contribute much to the team's victory. If more friendlies are organized then Brazil will do much better in major tournaments.

Brazil were really a big disappointment in last World Cup by not even being able to go beyond the quarter finals. They had technically much stronger players than Croatia but they still couldn't. In my opinion that's because of not having a good management. Tite couldn't bring any significant success to the team despite being the coach for 6 years.

His only achievement is a Copa America trophy in the 2018/2019 season. I don't even have any idea why Brazil board didn't even sack him much before. Maybe the World Cup title would have been achieved with a great squad like this. Ramon Menezes must be the temporary manager now because he was managing the U20 team.

I hope they can find the right coach for themselves to get prepared really strongly for next World Cup.

I don't agree with you.
Brazil never play defensively, that's simply not their style of football and Brazil doesn't know how to play that way.
In addition, Neymar scored a goal in the last minute of the first overtime and after that the whole second overtime was played, full 15 minutes and not just 1 minute, you confused something here.
The main reason why Brazil lost to Croatia is that they did not score more goals and solved the game in time. For this reason, the players of Brazil should be blamed, not the coach, who did everything he could and sent the strongest possible team to the field.
