I thought the first actual transaction between two addresses was done between Satoshi and Hal Finney....

that's the first bitcoin transaction between two addresses.

I guess people doesn't consider the transaction on OP as the first transaction because every new block are required to create a transaction to transfer the newly minted coins.

The coins used here are the newly generated ones. This transaction would have been done by satoshi.

EDIT : They are first bitcoins not first bitcoin transaction.
