hmmz lots of weird stuff going still. Does it mine? Otherwise with the 3 working chains connected try the fix2 firmware...

Ok I will have a look at this a bit later. I have some work to do on the d3 firmware first. For now: flash to stock firmware and mine with 3 instead of 4 chains. Just don't connect that one chain.

And finally, I flashed it back to stock fw as you said.

Ok I will have a look at this a bit later. I have some work to do on the d3 firmware first. For now: flash to stock firmware and mine with 3 instead of 4 chains. Just don't connect that one chain.

Now shutdown and disconnect the first (working) chain and connect the next one to the first connector. So you flash them one by one.
When you got them all flashed, just flash back to the stock firmware and connect everything like it was before and it should be running like normal again.

I did as you adviced. The only last hashboard did not want to be flashed. I tried everything - chaned cable to another one and changed chain to another one. But it did not work.

When you got them all flashed, just flash back to the stock firmware and connect everything like it was before and it should be running like normal again.

I am currently compiling a custom L3 firmware version for you guys. It tries to force flash the PIC's on the board. I really have no clue if this works, but I do have hope it can bring your L3's alive.

I am currently compiling a custom L3 firmware version for you guys. It tries to force flash the PIC's on the board. I really have no clue if this works, but I do have hope it can bring your L3's alive.

Hi Folks!

Absolutely the same stuff I'm having now with my L3+ too.

I had a well working L3+, then by mistake flashed it with D3 firmware (instead of different ASIC device... to fix the "x" issue solved in the 20th of November 2017 formware for D3). After that I immediately re-flashed back to the L3+ firmware but got what i got, Zero chips on each of the four hash-blades...

I tried all the stuff including Micri SD image as did here and the same it didn't help.

I also need this suggestion on which hex file to take and from where (the path) on the correctly working hash blade from another L3+. So I "ssh" the L3+ and should "scp" the file ?? to the same location on the malfunctioning L3+ (do that for all 4 blades) and then reboot. Cirrect? Which path to the file then guys?

Please help.

need to plug programmation stuff in 6 holes on the right of eeprom texas , and extract hexa file from a working l3+ hashboard, then flash it manually on the fail board $

and share the hexa file for some of us have only one fail l3+ but no other to fix Smiley



I had the same issue with my L3+. Mistakenly updated with D3 firmware. I was able to bring it back to life with PICkit 3 and hex file from another L3+. Many thanks guys!!!

Where are you located? For US residents, you just need to open a repair ticket and send the defective unit to CA repair center under warranty. Bitmain shipped a new D3 from china within 2 days of delivery of my defective unit to CA repair center.
I recommend to send it to bitmain, only if you are in europe and want to fix it quickly I am willing to fix it, honestly this is not a business for me, have to drive 80kms to the guy with the tool, have to use one of my hb to extract the original file, so its a pain in he ass.
